Making the stash a little lighter...

I have made a baby quilt out of reunion for a work colleague who knows she’s having a boy and has thankfully told everyone so there was to be no flowers or frills on this one.

I removed the flower patterns from the charm pack and used a pattern from Moda bake shop called Line Dance. It went together in a matter of hours and was very easy, one that I will make again!
It’s currently on the Gammill and I’m free motioning it with a large stipple and a Swirly thing (this is the technical term) in the small inner border still deciding on the strips down the centre of the quilt.
Having been long-arming solidly for the last few weeks I’ve been getting rather twitchy and I needed to get behind my Janome!
I dug into my stash and found this Tweet Tweet Jelly Roll I have had a couple of years now and decided to match that with Camille’s Jellybean Quilt Pattern.
I also removed a few of the brown strip and
replaced them with blue strips cut from some yardage...
Love the way it is going together... Here it only has I/2 the blocks together, but I put on the design wall so you could get a feeling for the finished product.
I have also dug out this, my Hoop Bag and decided I really should attempt the Hand Quilting on this again as I really want to finish this project.

After pulling out my last attempt I have started again.
I am now armed with Tiger Tape so that should (hopefully) make it all better...

Come What May...

Sweet Garden made in Vintage Modern...
I have been crazy busy this week, two quilt tops and My Swoon finished and a customer quilt done and dusted.

You may remember this from last week when I posted 1/3 of the Quilt...
2/3 Quilt...

One piece...Yay!
This is my other top finished this week, its Jaybird Quilt’s Come What May...and I must say that this literally went together in Hours, sooooo simple and Quick and ecstatic with the result.
I want to load one of these and get into it before my next Customer Quilt arrives next week, can I beat the deadline?!?

Which one would you like to see finished,
I’m doing an all-over pattern on both...

Here is my nearly finish Swoon,
I’m hand quilting around the blocks so if I don’t show you this today you may not see it for 6 months, that being how long it will take to finish.
My hands do not like the hand quilting and I can only do short bursts at a time...
That’s why I love my Long-arm...

Good Fortune...

This is a Baby Quilt that I have finished recently...
I used Elizabeth Hartman's Charm Pack Baby Quilt Pattern,
 super quick and easy.

The Binding will be dark purple, gosh I love that there are so many Purples around at the moment, now I can indulge my love for them!

It's going to added to the waiting to be bound pile which is slowly shrinking due to the cooler weather we are having recently...yay!

There is nothing worse than binding in the heat.

I have finally finished my Owl Quilt, in the lovely Sunkissed Fabric.
I showed a picture of it loaded on the Gammill, but now you get to see the whole thing!

I'm also finding it very difficult to not cut into this at the moment...
One Very Beautiful Layer Cake.

I'm tossing up between two patterns, when I pick one Vintage Modern will be getting the chop.

Something else I got this week.
Domestic Bliss, looking forward to removing the plastic on this bundle...
