Amazing Things

Hey crafty friends. Today I am sharing a sweet winter scene card. This one is actually a Pop Up Card (it was tricky to photo at the time!!) but so much fun create...

For this card I used Mama Elephant Tree Picking Stamps. I coloured them all with Copics and cut them out. I created the pop up panel by blending some Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo & Picked Raspberry Oxide Inks. I then used Crafters Companion Amazing Things Stamps for the sentiment. I added some snow drifts to the front panels using my Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border Dies then added all the images. This one was featured in Crafts Beautiful as part of my Pop Up & Sentiments project.

Supplies;
Mama Elephant Stamps - Tree Picking
Crafters Companion Stamps - Amazing Things
Lawn Fawn Dies - Stitched Hillside Borders
Distress Oxide Inks - Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry
Copic Pens

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back soon with more creations and do join me from Friday for the latest Clearly Besotted November Previews!

Sincerest Thanks

Hello crafy friends! I am very busy behind the scenes at the moment making a huge batch of charity cards so that may be why my posts will be far and few between. I will try and share as much as I can though! Today I am sharing a card I made for my embossed ink project...

I haven't made any cards in this style before it was also a learning curve for me. I used the embossing ink technique which is baasically placing ink inside your embossing folder then running it through your die cutting machine to create an embossed and ink effect. I used CC Gemini Gossamer Lace Embossing Folder. It is ideal for this technique as it's full of beautiful detail. I went with a purple theme for this one and used Seedless Preserves & Wilted Violet Distress Inks. I used Birch Press Designs Big Thanks Die to create the layered die cut sentiment. I added a stamped sentiment from Clearly Besotted then added some gems.

Supplies;
Gemini Embossing Folder - Gossamer Lace
Birch Press Designs Dies - Big  Thanks
Clearly Besotted Stamps - Say It All
Distress Inks - Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet
Lucy's Little Things - Bubbles, Icicle Gems
Coloured Card

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I will be back with more creations soon.

Cascade Cards

Hi all,
Today I am sharing not one but three cards that were made for PaperCrafter Magazine using the new Cascade Dies from Crafters Companion...
 I got to say I found these quite fiddly at first but once I got the hang of it they became quite easy to make! I added each layer with foam pads so they are very 3D but they looked much better than being flat. For these cards I used the Crafters Companion Cascade Alphabet Down & Right. I used a XCut Tiny Hearts Embossing Folder on the pink card. I added some ribbons, flowers, sequins, pearls and buttons to decorate.

Supplies;
CC Gemini Cascade Dies - Left & Down
Coloured Card
Patterned Papers
Ribbons & Lace
Paper Flowers
Pearls
Sequins
Pins

I will be back soon,

For this card I actually used the Downton Abbey CD Rom. It's got loads of images which aren't just downton themed and I do love florals at the moment so was fun to do something a bit different. The image, papers and sentiment are all from the CD Rom. I mounted everything onto kraft card and dusted the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I also added some lace, ribbon & pearls to finish.

I have my desk back up now so I am much happier I can escape to my crafting zone. I just thought I would share a vintage card I made recently featuring the very popular Downton Abbey!
Can you believe I actually have never seen it?! I am sure I will end up watching the whole series at some point in the future. Lots of mmy customers are big fans of Downton Abbey so I am sure I will be making more like this. I used the Downton Abbey CD Rom by Crafters Companion.
