Altered Paintbrush

Hi all,
Sorry I haven't been around so much. I have been working flat out so barely had time to myself. I am hoping now I have new routine settled that I will be able to update my blog a little more often. Anyway I thought I would share something a little different that was made for Craft Stamper Magazine...an altered paint brush!
I was given a plain wooden paint brush to work with - you can get these pretty cheap in pound shops and diy places. I painted the whole thing including some bristles using a peachy coloured paint. I then stamped and embossed the writing onto the brush. I added some of pretty lace and ribbons to create a shabby chic look. I created the flower using some Florartistry Dies. I stamped the art word and added it onto the card with some pearls to finish.

I will be back soon with more creations :)

Hello

Hi all :)
Just popped on to share one of my latest cards that was made for Craft Stamper Magazine. This was made for a colour challenge, so decided to create a simple floral card...
The stamps are by WPlus9 called Doodle Buds (aren't they funky!) and they were coloured with my Copic Pens. The Hello is a die by Die-namics called Hello There. I also added some vellum, a die cut circle frame and some gems to finish.

I will be back soon :)

Best Wishes Cupcakes

Hi all :)
Can you believe it's September? It won't be long til Christmas creeps up on us! So today I am sharing a card that I made for Craft Stamper Magazine using a cupcake stamp that came with the magazine...
I decided to create a background with the cupcakes. I stamped them randomly onto watercolour paper and coloured them with my Kuretake clean color pens. I also added a very pale wash to the background. The sentiment is die cut using Best Wishes Die-namics Die and mounted onto Double Stitched Rectangle Die-namics Dies.

I will be back soon :)

Bamboo Roses

Hi all :)
I've had a busy morning making some TV samples for Hunkydory so just had time for a break, lunch and to update my blog! Today I am sharing a quick, clean and simple card I made for Craft Stamper...
For this card I used the gorgeous Altenew Bamboo Roses Stamps. I roughly coloured them using my Kuretake Clean Color Markers and I added some blue around the edges. I stamped the sentiment (from the same set) and popped it onto foam pads.

I will be back soon!

Layering Flowers

Hi all :)
In the last issue I did my first step by step project for Craft Stamper Magazine - very exciting! I got to play with some gorgeous stamps by Hunkydory to create two floral cards. Here is the first one...
The floral stamps are Hunkydory For The Love Of Stamps Layering Flowers. All of them are stamped in memento ink, coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut out. The words were also created with Hunkydory Stamps called Lower Case Letters. These are ideal for creating any words, names or sentiments and are in a lovely watercolour style font. I also added some striped paper, a hand drawn border and some enamel dots. Sorry about the dark picture it was winter when I created this one!

I will be back soon :)

Make A Wish

Hello all :)
Today I am sharing one of my first ever creations for Craft Stamper Magazine. I am thrilled to now be part of the amazing team at Craft Stamper and hope to share more projects with you over time. I was asked to create a card using the freebie digi stamp...
This card was made with the freebie star wish digi stamp that came with the last issue. I created the background of the card with distress inks and water. I then heat embossed the panel using white embossing powder and an MFT Star Background Stamp. The panel was die cut with the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangles and mounted onto black card. I also used the Stars Stamp & Die-namics Die too.

I will be back soon :)
