Anything Goes Challenge @ Bugaboo Stamps

It's an Anything Goes Challenge over at The Bug Blog and today, we're breakin' out the Munchkin Turkey Day card for our little Jelly Beans special card box. 

We can hardly believe she's 7 weeks old already - it seems like time is just flying!!!

I'm not sure if it's the sleepless nights - though we can't complain, she's a really good baby and gives us 3-5 hour sleep blocks at night most nights and a good 3-4 hour nappy block during the day (yes, we are LUCKY!!!).  Or just that we should be sleeping when she's sleeping, but she's just such an amazing gift neither one of us can help but stare at her as she sleeps peacefully!

Anything But a Card

And of course, it's another cute baby onsie!

Somehow or another, around Easter this year, my father in law began calling our little Jelly Bean, Jolene Marie (of course this was not one of the names on our 'going to the hospital list'). So, it has been a running joke in our family - "Why does Grandpa keep calling me Jolene Marie?"

So, of course, we had to have a funny onsie that we gave my father in law for Father's Day and with some of the cute Bugaboo Stamps flowers, it tuned out super cute!!

Jelly Bean's First Halloween

So our little Jelly Bean has finally arrived - nearly 2 weeks late, but she's HERE!

And what an amazing addition she is to our lives!

So because I don't have much time, I wanted to quickly share with you the Bugaboo Stamps Photo Challenge this week.

When I see apples and changing leaves, not only do I think of Fall, but automatically one of my favorite holidays - HALLOWEEN!

So I haven't seen my feet in awhile - this is the best I can do.....

We're getting close though!!  :)  We think she's between 8 & 8 1/2 pounds (I'm hoping a little smaller, but we'll take her however she arrives).

This was a bib for our new bundle of joy that we gave my father in law for Father's Day as a bit of a joke.  
You can bet our little jelly bean will get great use out of this (when she decides to join the family).

Baby Day

So today is Baby Day - whether or not our little jelly bean decides to arrive today is yet to be seen...so far, it's not looking like it.....
She has already proven over the last 8 months or so that she has a mind and quite the personality all of her own...oh boy, are Glen and I in for it!  :)  And we couldn't be more excited as this new adventure is about to REALLY get underway.

Regardless of whether or not she arrives today, I'll share with you a card I made for today's Bugaboo Stamps, Catch The Bug Recipe Challenge:

A little nursery sneaky peek!

So the baby's nursery is FINISHED!  And I thought it would be only fitting to share it after all the hours my wonderful hubby and soon to be daddy put into this room.  

Lots of love & TLC and we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out for our little Jelly Bean!

Her large dresser and changing table (of course Hubby's Tommie Tippie for the stinky diapers)

Her rockin' and readin' area :)  The center shadow box says 

"If you want to know how much we love you count the waves in the ocean"

I'll have to take some close up photos of the artwork in her room.

And her sleepin' accommodations

My hubby created the bright colored artwork over the crib - we just LOVE the way it turned out.

That fun orange pink basket just to the right of the crib is one my mom made - all fabric, but a fabulous basket that I'm sure will be filled with toys and other fun stuff very soon!

We just LOVE how it all turned out.  It makes us both smile every time we go in there.  Every thing is so calm, serene and relaxing.  Now all we need is the baby.  :)

Oldie but Goodie @ Bugaboo - Cute Baby Edition

It's an Oldie But Goodie Day over at The Bug Blog and the little oldie I'm going to share with you is definitely a goodie and for our new arrival who will be here in just a matter of weeks!

Our baby girl has been a kicker since the first time we saw her - she kicks every time we have an ultra sound, so because we haven't decided on a name quite yet (we're down to 2 that will go to the hospital with us), we affectionately call her "Ninja Baby" when the arms and legs begin flailing.

What little Ninja Baby doesn't a custom Ninja Baby Onsie?  :)0
