Hello

It's been raining here all day, but I don't mind... it has really cooled the temperature which is a relief :) I have a wonderful mix of cards to share today.

Lets start with a classic stunner from Joy. She has made these gorgeous felt roses using a Die-namics die from MFT. Aren't they so pretty!

Here is another gorgeously coloured card from Iwona, using 'Snowman' from Gorjuss. I love this image... I think he is pretty cool (pun intended :)).

Angeline has made the most darling little card... how adorable are those twine lollipops! The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's 'Many Thanks' set.

'Santa Marci' looks so sweet on this lovely CAS card from Ange. Another beautifully coloured image and The Twinery's twine is the perfect embellishment.

 Ange

I got a little inky for this card. Lots of distress ink on the background, then I stamped the swirls and embossed them with clear embossing powder and finally a few drops of water. The bird and bird cage are a new Die-namics combo from MFT. The bird cage I painted with pewter crackle paint and them added black soot distress ink - the bird was also coloured with distress inks.

Have a wonderful Sunday :)

DT Post

Hello. Sunday here means Design Team cards to share, and I have some wonderful cards to show you :)

But first, I would like to remind you about our current challenge - you still have plenty of time to play. Just click the 'note' below to see all the details.

Joy's starting us off today with a Seasonal card with a difference. That background is a little non-traditional but looks amazing! The stamp is 'Houndstooth Background' from Hero Arts/Studio Calico. I bet she had fun adding all those buttons and bling :)

Ange has a delightful card using 'Summer Christmas Marci' from La La Land. I know everyone 'down under' can appreciate this stamp as we celebrate Christmas at summertime. The colouring on this card is superb.

Next is another super card from Iwona and again the colouring is superb! This sweet image is 'Presents For You' from MFT Pure Innocence. Iwona also used some Die-Namics - MFT have a wonderful range.

How about this beauty from Angeline! She has used Japanese Masking Tape to make this gorgeous card. The sweet sentiment is from 'Chit Chat' from Paper Smooches.

I have tried something new on my card today - embossing using a spellbinders die. I know this is not new :), but I saw it on this card by Jenny (thank you Jenny) and wanted to give it a go. My Santa from Jane's Doodles 'Vintage Christmas' was the perfect fit. The little holly leaves are from 'Christmas Wonder' by Practicing Creativity. I thought I would enter this into the challenge over at Just Us Girls - they are having a colour challenge - Red, Green and White.

I hope you all have a wonderful day :)

Hello

Wow, what a busy week! Hopefully tomorrow I will have my computer up and running again, fingers crossed :)

The DT have some wonderful cards to share with you today, so lets dive straight in.

Ange has created the cutest card using this adorable stamp from Lawn Fawn called 'Winter Fox'. I love how she stamped that teeny tiny Christmas Tree on the mug.

Love all the embossing on Joy's wonderful Christmas card. She has used Hero Arts 'Merry Christmas Tree' set and finished the card with Honeydew Twine from The Twinery.

Next up, we have a beautiful tag from Angeline using Lawn Fawn's 'Many Thanks' set. I love this sweet sentiment.

How fun is this card by Iwona and how beautifully coloured! This is 'Buccaneer Marci' from La La Land - gorgeous isn't she?

I have also gone with a Christmas theme for my card, with lots of distressing and some misting. The label and sentiment both come from 'Everyday Prints' from Practicing Creativity... I just love this font. The holly leaves are from another set called 'Christmas Wonder', also by Practicing Creativity.

Well I hope your Sunday is wonder, thanks for stopping by :)

DT Post

Whew!... can you believe it is October already... how scary is that! I hope you all had a wonderful World Card Making Day yesterday - or today, for those of you who are still celebrating :)

I have an amazing line up of cards to share with you all today, my DT team rocks!!!

Angeline's card is so stylish and perfect for mass producing if you are looking for some CAS Christmas card ideas. The sentiment comes from a set called 'Rejoice' and the stripes on the banner strip are from 'Retro Chirstmas' - both from Practicing Creativity.

I just love this card - Ange's colouring is absoulety gorgeous! This stamp is from Sparkle Creations (a new company in the shop) and is called 'Rin with Snowman'.

 Ange

This next card is classic Joy! Simple elegance. This balloon stamp is another from Practicing Creativity called 'Look Up'.

Iwona amazes me each week with her beautiful colouring and wonderful designs. This gorgeous stamp is of course from La La Land stamps called 'Birthday Marci'. These stamps really are fantastic to practice your copic colouring.

Amazing cards so far right! Each week I feel a little more intimated placing my cards amongst this group, LOL.

This is my third card this week for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. I focused on the colour scheme again and the baby theme. This set is called 'A Little Lovin'

I really appreciate you stopping by :)

Cards, A Challenge And A Sale!

Happy Sunday all!

Warning! This is quite a long post LOL, please bear with me!

First up is a reminder that you still have time to enter our current challenge - it is open to everyone and there is a fabulous stamp from Purple Onion Stamps to be won. Click on the photo for the original post.

This next bit is particularly for my Australian friends - we are having a SALE over at the shop. 20% off all A Muse stamps, Elzybells stamps, Inchie Arts and Japanese Masking Tape. There are limited stocks on all items.

Now for some cards.

Ange has made a fun and colourful birthday card with 'Star boy Luka' from La La
Land. I must say her colouring is just amazing - what little boy wouldn't love this card!

Joy has created a paper pieced masterpiece! Love the distressed and rolled corners of the polaroid frame. Stamps used are 'Say Cheese' and 'Admit One', both from Lawn Fawn stamps.

I wanted to enter the current Lawnscaping Challenge, which is to 'Stamp a Scene'. I went a little different and created a scene in a painting. The little houses are a stamp from A Muse called 'Winter Houses', the frame is from Lawn Fawn's 'Fanciful Frames' and the little stars are actually the asterisk from Lawn Fawn's 'Harold' ABCs. The paper is supposed to be wallpaper and is from Basic Grey's 6 x 6 paper pad 'Hello Luscious'.

If you're still reading, thanks for sticking with me :) Have a fabulous day.

Sunday Design Team Post

Hello

Boy, it's a very busy time for me, but hopefully next week things will ease off and I can get some time to make cards and blog.

We have had some truly lovely cards entered into this months challenge. There is still time if you would like to join in. Here is the inspiration photo again and the link to the post is here.

Right, onto some cards!

Can you say Fabulous! that is what this card from Joy is. This is 'Dress Up Marci' from
La La Land and she is coloured to perfection.

Look at this gorgeous card from Ange - don't you just love the colours! She has used 'Luscious Ledger' background stamp from Hero Arts.

I have also used a stamp from La La Land for my card today, the adorable 'Fireman Luka' - he was so much fun to colour. The sentiment is from Purple Onion Designs and the background I made with distress inks.

Make sure you stop by tomorrow for the Jane's Doodles blog hop! I am so excited... as well as the awesome design team we have some fabulous guest designers joining us. And one lucky commenter could win 3 stamp sets!

See you then :)

Bad Blogger

Hello

I have been a terrible blogger this week :) Getting very busy at work with reports to write and lots and lots of marking!

So lets get straight into some wonderful cards by the design team.

How cute is this little skater girl with her matching skates and helmet! Joy's card is so sweet using 'Just Roll With It' from My Favorite Things. Her colouring is always amazing.

Ange's monochromatic card is so stylish. She has used 'Wish You Were Here' from Hero Arts. I just love the way she has used gems for the chair buttons.

Now, I am not very good at colouring with my copics (or colouring full stop!). But I decided that the only way to get better is to practice and these La La Land stamps are perfect for that. They have big open spaces that are easy to colour. This is the first time I have done 'skin' and I think it turned out ok :) The image is 'Chef Marci'.

I am also very excited to now have stamps from Purple Onion Designs available in the store - be sure to check them out.

And just a reminder about our current challenge - you can click here to be taken to the original post.

Cheers

Cute Cards!

Hello.

Thanks for popping in today. Just a reminder that you still have time to enter our current challenge - we would love to see your creations. The link is on the side bar and the challenge is open to everyone.

So, I have some lovely cards from the DT to show you.

Could you find a card any sweeter than this! Joy has used this gorgeous La La Land stamp 'Sweet Dreams Marci' and her colouring is just superb.

Ange has used Pure Innocence 'Warm Fuzzies' for her card and it is just too adorable! How cute does she look in that little outfit and the hand stitching is a wonderful touch.

The current challenge at Lawnscaping is Polka Dots and I wanted to do something a little different. I hope this qualifies :) My first thought was someone who is sick and covered in spots.

I have used the raccoon from Lawn Fawn's 'Critters in the Forest'. The sentiment is hand written and the ambulance was a digi image I found and coloured with pencils.

Happy crafting.
