Still Here
Good Afternoon. I am still around, but haven't had time to do any posting and I am really missing the blogging and reading everyone's blogs. I have been stitching though. Will hopefully be back soon to share what I have finished stitching.
The kids have been keeping me busy with all their activities and I have been busy with the committees I signed up for at the beginning of the year. I think next year I am going to take a backseat and see if other parents step up to help.
I will leave you with pictures of what I am stitching on. As you can see, right is it is St. Patrick's Day themed. The one in black fabric is a free chart from The Primitive Hare called Irish Shamrock. The other is a free chart from Plum Street Samplers called Hares Lucky Day.
Until Next Time
Happy Stitching

Merry Christmas
I had a goal of stitching a Christmas ornament a month, but I missed February, and I wasn't going to miss March, so I dug through my Christmas patterns and found one that only took me a few hours to stitch up.
This is Merry Primitive Christmas from the Primitive Hare. It is also stitched on 40ct. Golden Harvest. Instead of the DMC floss, I used floss from Hand-Dyed Fibers. I love the silk thread from them. If you haven't tried it yet, I would highly recommend you do. I didn't iron it either, as it is in a envelope along with a few other pieces on its way to the finishers.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and gets lots of stitching done.
Until Next Time
Happy Stitching

All Is Well
Hi! We have made it through surgery. Talia did really well today. She no longer has her adnoids or tonsils. Her throat is sore but she is really enjoying all the ice cream and popicles. Today was pretty easy for her, but the doctor did say Days 4,5, and 6 will be really rough as that is when the healing starts. She will be home from school until after Easter now. No running or gym for two weeks and a soft diet for 2 weeks also. Hope she doesn't get sick of the soft food to fast. We would still really appreciate it if you would keep her in your thoughts yet through this healing process
I have been doing a little stitching and do have another little finish. This is a free chart from the Primitive Hare called Please Enter Your Pin. It is stitched on 40ct Golden Harvest linen. I used a hand-dyed fibers threads called Aquamarine. This little piece is also off to the finisher. It will be finished as a little pincushion to stitch my pins in.
Until Next Time
Happy Stitching
