Is It Spring Yet?

The weather here for the pass few days has been beautiful, except for the wind.  I could do without the wind, but I am loving the sun that is shining here brightly today.

I have been working hard on the kiddos playroom and it is coming along really good.  I should have it done in the next day or two and then it is off to my craft room.  I am going to get lost in there, I think.  My DH might just have to send in a search party to find me when I get started in there.  All of my stash and other crafting stuff is just sitting in the middle of the room waiting for me to do something with it.

I do have this  little Easter finish to share.  This is a free chart from PrimitiveBettys.  It was such a joy to stitch.  I again used a piece of scrap 40ct. linen I had and DMC floss.  Sorry if the picture is a little blurry, but my camera just wasn't cooperating with me today.


I have to go and finish my vaccuming and then do a couple of errands.

Tulip Time

Good Evening All!  I hope everyone is doing well and is safe from the wild weather we have had the pass few days.  The wind has finally subsided here, but it is still on the cold side.  I am so ready for Spring.  I look forward to my flowers blooming and getting out in my flower garden and cleaning it up.  I planted tulip bulbs last September and hope they made it through the winter.  I would love to see them bloom this spring.

I finally was able to stitch up a little free chart from primitivebettys that I have been wanting to stitch. This is Tulip Time.  It was such a quick and pleasant stitch.  I used DMC thread and a scrap of 40ct. linen I had in my stash.  I just might stitch up another for a Spring Exchange I am in.

In my last post I mentioned I started reorganizing my house.  What an undertaking that is.  But I am happy to say I am getting close to getting the kid's playroom done.  I will post pictures when it is all done.  Don't want anything to see the mess that is still in the room yet.

Oh Sweet Valentine

I am on a roll.  I have another finish.  This is such a sweet stitch.  I loved every minute and was sad when the stitching was all done.

Oh Sweet Valentine is a free chart from PrimitiveBettys.  She had the words and inside of the feathers charted in red, but I love this fabric (Picture this Plus Phonenix) and had to use it, so I stitched the works and feathers in white.  I love how it turned out.  I am thinking of finishing it into a little pincushion.

I am off to do some more stitching.  I am thinking another little Valentine piece.  I am in a Valentine mood right now.
