So Thankful

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today's card share is one I made using the challenge at

This one happens to be another fun color challenge:

You have heard me say how I am obsessing over the red trucks this year
and I have been having fun
using the Ride With Me Bundle and coloring Red Trucks.
I stamped the truck image on Thick Very Vanilla card stock
and pumpkin image with Black Memento ink and
colored using my Blends.
I did fussy cut these out to add to my
Stitched Rectangle.

I cut it with the Stitched Rectangle dies using thick Very Vanilla card stock.

The base of my card is  Early Espresso card stock.
I used another layer of Early Espresso and embossed it using the Subtle EF.
I then matted that piece with Very Vanilla card stock.

I used the Buffalo Check Stamp and Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla to
make my side strip piece.
I used my Samparatus for the Buffalo Check, that makes it much easier to get
a nice coverage.

I used some thread pulled from the Burlap ribbon to tie over the Buffalo check
side piece.

The sentiment comes from the Beauty & Joy stamp set.

I added the truck rectangle piece to the card with dimensionals.

I finished up with a few orange rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone pack.

Boo To You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

The challenge this week at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge
is a Halloween challenge:

I have always been a big fan of Halloween,
I love everything about it and I have always loved crafting for it,
this year, however,  I have struggled with getting into it. I don't know why.
Anyways, I did make his fun little card yesterday.

I pulled out the Boo to You stamp set for my Zombie Frankenstein image.
I stamped with black stazon onto thick Whisper Whiter and
colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads.

Don't you love his fun Googlie Eyes?!!

I fussy cut him out and  put him aside to make the rest of the card.

The base of my card is Pumpkin Pie and the DSP is from the Monster Bash DSP pack.
I matted both of my pieces of Designer Series Paper with Basic Black card stock.
I used the Layering Circles Dies for my circle pieces. The scallop piece is Pumpkin Pie and the center is whisper white that I embossed with the Stylish Scroll EF.

"Frankie" is added to he circle piece with dimensionals.

I added a black strip of card stock across the bottom of the card and then layered a piece of
Black Glittered Ribbon across it.
The Layered Circle with Frankie is added next with dimensionals.

The sentiment comes from the Boo To You set and is die cut and matted with a die from the Ornate Frames dies. I added it with dimensionals as well.

I finished the card with a few black bats that are punched with one of the
punches from the Every Season Punch Pack and some rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone pack.

Wishing You a Happy Birthday

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

I was excited to see a new challenge was up at the
Stamps, Ink Paper Challenge Blog after they had
took the summer off.

The new challenge is one of my favorites:

Make a card using your favorite stamp set, ink colors and paper!

Well, folks you know the Good Morning Magnolia is a favorite of mine.
This is another flower I had colored last week when playing with Cajun Craze.
This one is also colored with Cajun Craze but was watered down so much more than the first.
Amazing that it looks so much like Terracotta Tile.

You can see the darkness of the Cajun in there tho, around the bottom
and in between the petals.
I colored the leaves with Mossy Meadow.
I stamped the flower with Black Stazon in on Thick Whisper White and colored wih my Aqua Painter and ink pads.
I used the matching Magnolia Dies to cut it out.

The base of the card is Terracotta Tile and then a layer of of gingham DSP from the In Colors pack that is mated with Whisper White.
I used another piece of Terracotta and embossed it with the Basket Weave EF.
I matted that with more Whisper White card stock.

The Magnolia was then added with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Band Together set, stamped with Black Memento ink and die
cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

I finished with a few basic Rhinestones.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Blessed to be your Friend

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Today's card share is done using a couple of challenges

First I used the sketch this week at

and the color challenge this week at

I really love these colors together,
I seldom reach for Sahara Sand,
but I am loving it here.
I did sneak in just a bit of green on my leaves.

I die cut a small rectangle with the stitched rectangle dies for my sentiment piece.
My sentiment comes from the To A Wild Rose stamp set and I used Black Memento Ink to stamp it onto the rectangle piece.
My flowers are from the Tea Together set.
I stamped with Versamark ink onto thick whisper white card stock and embossed with White embossing powder.
I colored the flowers with my Aqua Painter using Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay.

I die cut a stitched scallop piece with Bermuda Bay card stock and added it beneath the sentiment piece.
The flowers are die cut and added with dimensionals.

The base of the card is Sahara Sand followed by another piece of Sahara Sand that I embossed with
the Subtle EF.
I added tha piece to the base with dimensionals and then he sentimen piece is added with dimensionals as well.

I finished with a few litle sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins pack.

Thanks so much for coming by today.

Your Friendship....

Hello Peeps!

Today I have another sneak peak card to share.
This one uses the Free as a Bird Bundle.
I am loving these stitched label dies that comes with this bundle.
I die cut one of the label dies and gave it a light wash with Balmy Blue ink.

I stamped the bird, leaves and flowers with black stazon onto some thick
whisper white card stock.

I colored using Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive and Balmy Blue ink. The
bird is colored with Crumb Cake and Flirty Flamingo, the beak is
colored with Pumpkin Pie.
I fussy cut out all my elements and added them to the stitched label piece
with dimensionals and Tombow glue.

I am adding this card to the challenge this week at

I finished my card up with some basic rhinestones and
some white twine pulled from the Flax Ribbon.

My sentiment is from the same stamp set and is
stamped with Black Memento ink.

Thanks for coming by.

Another retiring set I am sad to see go.

The Calypso Coral DSP is from the Happiness Blooms pack and the Old Olive piece is from the Needlepoint Nook pack.

Congratulations

Happy Thursday Peeps!

I have had another busy week of work and not much crafting time.
I did get a chance to sit for a bit and I made this card.
I used three challenges for my inspiration.

First I did a loose interpretation of the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

As you can see I flipped it.

The challenge at The Paper Players
is a fun "Spring Fever" challenge.

I am using gingham, from the Gingham Gala pack.

The pretty flowers come from the Bloom by Bloom set.
I used Night of Navy and Balmy Blue inks.

My sentiment is from the Bouquet Bunch stamp set.

I stamped it with Night of Navy ink on a scrap piece of card stock.
I hand cut the end in a banner and added it to my card with some dimensionals.

The base of the card is thick whisper white and then another
layer of white that I die cut with one of the dies from the rectangle framelits.

I used he Basket Weave EF and added a piece of blue gingham DSP.

The flowers are fussy cut out and added with dimensionals.
I used a few leaves that was cut from a die in the Wonderful Floral framelits.

I finished with a few little rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thinking of You

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Today I have another Floral Romance card to share.
Over at the  SIP Challenge it is Designer's Choice.

I absolutely love this set with it's matching dies.
The dies are almost better than the stamp set, there are some really nice dies with this set.
A must have in my opinion.
I begun by stamping my image and water coloring.
I die cut it out and I also stamped and colored a few extra flowers.

The base of the card is Thick Whisper White and I cut and embossed anoher piece of whie using the Tufted EF.
I die cut the "trellis" piece with Pear Pizzazz card stock.

The sentiment piece is another die in this set.

I added a twine bow and a few rhinestones to finish it up.

Thank you for coming by!

Thank You

Hello Peeps!!

I have had a busy week, working out of town two days
and then a short trip to help with the grand babies check up appointments.
I am tired today! LOL!!

Over at the SIP challenge they have a fun challenge this week.

I love crumb cake with soft suede, so that was what I went with.

I used the Bloom by Bloom set.
I off stamped them once to get a lighter image for the leaves and flower heads.
I stamped the dots with Soft Suede.

The sentiment is from the Climbing Rose set and is stamped with Soft Suede as well.

I added a small strip of DSP across the bottom of the image panel and added a twine bow.

I used Crumb Cake for my base and followed that with a piece of Soft Suede. I then used the Tufted EF on another piece of Crumb Cake.
I then added my image piece and another piece of Soft Suede at opposite tilts. They are added with dimesionals.
I finished with a few basic rhinestones.

Thanks for coming by today!

Happy Birthday

 Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Sorry for being MIA for a couple of days.
Life gets busy, I spent some time with the grand babies and also cutting out a new quilt pattern that I have to get made before Mother's Day for a family member.

I have a hard time splitting my time between sewing and stamping. I tend to get caught up with just one and totally ignore the other. I am working on that.

anyway......on to my card
I made this card with a couple of challenges in mind.

First up is my loose interpretation of this week's Freshly Made Sketches

AND
I stamped the image from the stamp set All That You Are on thick whisper white card stock with black stazon and colored with my water brush and inks.

I colored very lightly with Calypso Coral and leaves are Pear Pizzazz.
I then fussy cut it out. I added an extra flower to my stem.

Can you see the bones of the sketch here? I hope so, I can. LOL!

The base of my card is Thick Whisper white and then I Embossed
a piece of whisper white with the Basket Weave EF.
And a piece of DSP from the Gingham Gala to mat my Embossed piece.

I used one of the dies in he Wonderful Floral Framelit set and die cut with Vellum.
I added these to my card next to the flower and by the sentiment piece.

The sentiment comes from the same set and I stamped with Black Memento ink.
I added the floral image and sentiment to my card with dimensionals.

Thanks for coming by today.
