I used the new Ornate Garden stamp set for my floral image.
I stamped the image twice so I could color and cut out the part I wanted to use.

The floral image was stamped with Black Stazon ink on to Thick Whisper White
card stock. I colored using my Aqua Painter.

I used a piece of  Mango Melody DSP from the Brights 6 x 6 pack.
I used a couple of the Stitched So Sweetly dies to layer my flowers on and for the sentiment.

The sentiment come from the Under My Umbrella stamp set and is stamped with Daffodil Delight ink.

I die cut a few leaves with Vellum using a die from the retired Wonderful Romance Bundle.

Thinking of You

Happy Hump Day Peeps!!!

Today's card is made using the challenge this week at

The card also features contraband......non Stampin Up stamp. LOL!

I fell in love with this new stamp from Penny Black and HAD to have it.
Sometimes that happens.
I am a Stampin Up girl through and through but every once in a while my eyes stray and you all know how I love a good flower stamp.

I colored my flowers and leaves using all four of the above colors.
I used Petal Pink and Rococo Rose for the flower heads and
Mint Macaron and Pretty Peacock for the leaves. The bucket is done with Gray Granite.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and I used a die from the All Dressed Up Dies.

The Base of my card is Pretty Peacock card stock.
The main image panel is embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I wrapped three pieces of twine pulled from the Flax Ribbon around
the bottom of the card and tied a bow.  The sentiment is added to the card with dimensionals.

I finished up with a few Peacock faceted dots from the In Color pack.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

You're Cute as a Bug

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Today's  card was made using the challenge at

This time is a fun color challenge:

I wanted to use the new Little Ladybug stamp set and even tho there wasn't a traditional "ladybug" red in the color challenge, I thought a Merry Merlot ladybug would be cute.

I stamped and colored the ladybug and flower with Black Stazon on thick whisper white.
I colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads.
I used Merry Merlot, Melon Mambo and just a touch of Pear Pizzazz.

I made a cool water colored splashed background for my flower and ladybug to sit on.
I used Bermuda Bay on watercolor paper and brushed on getting lighter as I went down the paper for a nice ombre effect.
I then splattered white drops over the dried Bermuda Bay and then dabbed off with a paper towel.
I die cut it out using the stitched rectangle dies and then also cut out a whisper white frame for it to sit in.
I added the flower and ladybug to this piece with dimensionals.
I then added this to my Coastal Cabana base with more dimensionals.

The sentiment is stamped  with Bermuda Bay ink and die cut using a stitched nested labels die.

I colored two epoxy hearts using a Melon Mambo Blend and added to the sentiment piece.

I finished ups with a few basic rhinestones and a whisper white twine bow.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Love this sketch!

I went for another Fall type card, and used my Gathered Leaves Dies and Daisy Lane
stamp set and matching punch.

I stamped the daisies using Pretty Peacock ink on Mint Macaron card stock and
punched them out with the daisy punch.
The leaves are Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Old Olive.
I pressed the die into the ink pad before cutting with the leaf die and matching card stock.
The Crumb Cake pieces are a die from the Beautiful Bouquet dies.

I arranged my flowers and leaves onto a Stitched Circle Die Cut pies from the
Stitched Shapes Dies.

The Base of the card is thick Whisper White.
I used another piece of Whisper White and embossed it with the Subtle EF, going through
the Big Shot twice, rotating the the card stock in the Embossing Folder to achieve the
design lines going vertical and horizontal.

I addedthe circle with the floral arrangement to he card with dimensionals.
The DSP is from the 6x6 in color pack.
I added a stitched scallop edge under the DSP using a die from the
Be Mine Stitched dies.
The sentiment is from the Painted Harvest stamp set and is stamped with Black Memento
inko onto whisper white card stock. I punched this out with the Tailored Tag Punch and added it to the card with dimensionals.

I did sneak in a bit of Granny Apple Green for my leaves.

To a Wild Rose Thank You

Hello Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge this week at

This week is a Fab color challenge:

You know with those colors I would pull out a pretty floral stamp set for my card.
The To A Wild Rose set is so pretty.
I love this beautiful rose in the set.
I stamped a couple with Black Stazon and  water colored
with Flirty Flamingo and a few leaves was colored with Pear Pizzazz ink.

There is a die set that goesd with this set but I just fussy cut them out this time around.
I used the Stitched Nested Label Dies and Whisper White Card stock for the piece my
flowers are mounted onto.

The base of the card is Soft Seafoam aaand then a layer of white.
I then used another piece of Soft Seafoam that I embossed
with the Subtle EF.

The stitched piece is mounted to the card with dimensionals.
I then used more dimensionals to add the flowers.
I cut the leaves apart into singles so I could tuck them in closer to the flowers.

The sentiment comes from the Free As A Bird set and is embossed
onto a piece of Basic Black with white Embossing powder.

I finished up with a white twine wrap and bow, the white twine is pulled from the Flax Ribbon.

Then a few basic rhinestones was added for a bit of sparkle.

I Couldn't Have Picked A Better Friend

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Time for a new challenge at SUO Challenges.

This week it is all about Spring.

Nothing says Spring more than flowers, and you know I love making flowery cards.

I used the sketch this week at Fab Friday for my card.

I used the Pop of Petals stamp set for my flowers.
I stamped three of each color using Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo.
There is a matching punch with his set but after punching out a couple i ended up fussy cutting as the punch left to much of white around my flowers for the flowers I was creating.

I stamped the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink and cut them out as well.
My flowers are mounted to a piece of whisper white that I die cut with one of the stitched rectangle dies.
My sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

I found a piece of the black and white gingham paper from the Butterfly gala pack in my scrap pile, I thought I had used it all. But after this card I only have a couple of tiny pieces left.

The flowers and the Sentiment piece are both added to the card with dimensionals.

I used a piece of Melon Mambo card stock for my banner piece. I die cut a piece of whisper white with a edge die from the Be Mine Stitched Dies to layer behind the Melon Mambo banner.

I fussy cut out a pretty little butterfly from the Butterfly Gala DSP and added it just under the flowers.

Be sure and head over to the SUO Challenges Blog, we would
love to have you join us.

Thanks for coming by today.
