Thankful for you

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card made using the sketch this week at

Love this sketch!

I went for another Fall type card, and used my Gathered Leaves Dies and Daisy Lane
stamp set and matching punch.

I stamped the daisies using Pretty Peacock ink on Mint Macaron card stock and
punched them out with the daisy punch.
The leaves are Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Old Olive.
I pressed the die into the ink pad before cutting with the leaf die and matching card stock.
The Crumb Cake pieces are a die from the Beautiful Bouquet dies.

I arranged my flowers and leaves onto a Stitched Circle Die Cut pies from the
Stitched Shapes Dies.

The Base of the card is thick Whisper White.
I used another piece of Whisper White and embossed it with the Subtle EF, going through
the Big Shot twice, rotating the the card stock in the Embossing Folder to achieve the
design lines going vertical and horizontal.

I addedthe circle with the floral arrangement to he card with dimensionals.
The DSP is from the 6x6 in color pack.
I added a stitched scallop edge under the DSP using a die from the
Be Mine Stitched dies.
The sentiment is from the Painted Harvest stamp set and is stamped with Black Memento
inko onto whisper white card stock. I punched this out with the Tailored Tag Punch and added it to the card with dimensionals.

I finished wih a few litle rhinestones from the Noble Peacock pack.

Season of Thanks Sunflowers

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

I have another fallish type card for you today.
This one uses a combination of sets, The Daisy Lane, Painted Harvest and Gather Together.

I stamped several Daisies with Crushed Curry ink on Crushed Curry card stock
and punched them out with the matching punch.
I used the 1/2 inch circle punch for the centers.
I used Early Espresso card stock and then embossed with the Subtle EF.
I layered up the flowers using 4 flowers per flower and glued together.
I added the early espresso centers to the flower with dimensionals.

I die cut a Stitched Nested Label using Whisper White card stock, I
stamped the sentiment from the Gather Together set in Early Espresso ink.
I then embossed this die cut with the Subtlke EF as well.
I added the sunflowers to the white panel with dimensionals.
I stamped the leaves using a leaf stamp from the Painted Harvest set, I used Pear Pizzazz and
Mossy Meadow. I fussy cut them out and added them around the flowers.

The base of the card is Early Espresso and the DSP on here is from
the Come To Gather pack.

I finished the card with a linen bow and a few gold sequins.

Here's to Celebrating You

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today's card share is a card I made for a friend's birthday.
She has received the card so it is safe to post.

I used a set that is a favorite of hers.
It is the Painted Harvest set.
I used Rococo Rose and  Merry Merlot for my flowers.
The  centers are Early Espresso.
I used Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves and stamped the
dots with Early Espresso as well.
I die cut this panel out using one of the Rectangle Stitched Frames Dies.

The base of the card is Merry Merlot and I added the floral panel to the base
with dimensionals.
I die cut a scallop stitched strip to add to the edge of the floral panel
using a die from the Be Mine Dies

I stamped my sentiment from the Perennial Birthday set using
Merry Merlot ink on whisper white cardstock.
I die cu it with a circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.
I matted the sentiment panel with a scallop circle from the Layering
Circle Dies.

I finished with a few sticky back gold sequins from the Paper Pumpkin kit this month.
Also a white twine bow was used with twine pulled from the Flax Ribbon.

Inside shot:

I got a bit carried away with the inside decorating...lol, but I
was still able to add a small message. I think she liked it. 😉

Wishing You Well

 Happy Monday Peeps!

Today's card share is one I made awhile back and
hadn't shared yet.

This one uses the Painted Harvest set.
I had a blog reader email me and ask to see a few more cards with this set.
I was again in a fall state of mind.
I am so ready for the cool crisp days of fall.
I used Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie for my flower along with
Soft Suede for the flower center.
I used Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

The square that my flower is attached too is stamped with the
awesome Birch Background stamp.
It is stamped with Gray Granite.

The base of my card is thick Whisper White.
I then used another layer of Whisper White ,
I first stamped my sentiment, which is from the  Gather Together
stamp set. I used Gray Granite for that as well.
I then embossed this piece using the Subtle EF.

I added the floral panel to the base with dimensionals.

I finished the card with a few gold sequins from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Wishing You a Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Today I have another Sunflower card to share using the Painted Petals
stamp set.

Some pretty colors on this one, I used Pumpkin Pie and a new in color TerraCotta Tile.
The centers are Crumb Cake and leaves are Pear Pizzazz.
I added a few dots randomly around the flowers with Pear Pizzazz as well.

I die cut this panel out with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
I also die cut the next size bigger Stitched Rectangle
 using TerraCotta Tile card stock.

The base of my card is Crumb Cake card stock.

The sentiment pieces are made up of two more of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I stamped the sentiment, from the Band Together set with
TerraCotta Tile ink on a piece of Whisper White and then used the die to
cut it out.
It is added to the mat piece with dimensionals.

I stamped the cute little acorn using Crumb Cake and TerraCotta Tile and
fussy cut it out.
I tied a bow using some twine pulled from the Burlap ribbon and added it to the end
of the sentiment and then added the acorn to the bow center.
I die cut two leaves using the Magnolia Lane dies with
Pear Pizzazz card stock and tucked them in under the sentiment piece.

I finished with a few basic rhinestones for some added sparkle.

Belated Birthday Duo

Hello Peeps!!

It is mid August and my mind is on Fall.
Sunflowers are in abundance around this time of the year and driving past
a large patch of them last week sparked my cards.
I pulled out the Painted Harvest stamp set, I have had for awhile but
haven't used it much til this weekend.
I used some traditional colors and not so traditional colors.

I CASED my cards from a few days back, you can see them here.

I used the same layout just changing up a few things.

The yellow one is Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry card stock and inks.
The centers of the sunflowers are Crumb Cake ink and the leaves are Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz.
I used the Stitched Nested Label Dies for the Floral Panel and Sentiment piece.
The sentiment is from he Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set.

I added a twine bow and die cut leaves to this one as well.
The leaves are a die in the Magnolia Dies.

The DSP is from the Brights 6 x 6 pack.
I finished it with a few little rhinestones to add a bit of sparkle.

I really like the Purple card, even tho that is not a traditional Sunflower color:

I used Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape card stock and inks.
Along with Whisper White for the floral image and sentiment pieces.
The leaves on here are Pear Pizzazz ink.

I used some White twine strings pulled from the Flax Ribbon to make
a bow for the sentiment piece.

Again, DSP from the Brights 6 x 6 pack and a few rhinestones for
added sparkle.

Which color is your favorite?

I will have another Painted Harvest card for you tomorrow.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

SUO....Let's Celebrate You

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Time for a new challenge over at SUO Challenges Blog.

The challenge is CELEBRATIONS
Any thing you want to celebrate is great!

I recently picked up the Painted Harvest set and while it is probably more a fall set I decided to use it anyway.
I stamped my flower with Mariana Mist and Night of Navy.
Isn't it pretty in blue?
I stamped the leaf with Old Olive.

The base of my card is Night of Navy card stock.
I then embossed a piece of Whisper White using the Corrugated EF.

The DSP is from the Needlepoint Nook pack.
I die cut my image peice with a die from the Rectangle dies, then ran it back through
cutting off one end to make it square.

I finished my card with a few little basic rhinestones and white twine wrap with a bow.
I pulled apart a piece of the  Flax ribbon to make the twine.

I hope you can find some time to play along with us, we would love to see your Celebration cards.

Be sure to head over to the SUO Challenge Blog
to see what the rest of the team did with this fun challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
