Happy Birthday

I had put away my craft things for the day planning to do some other work this afternoon, when my lovely postman came trotting through the snow (which started just after lunch and has been going since!) with a package for me!

A few weeks ago I won a prize over at Party Time Tuesdays, sponcered by The Paper Parade

I was absolutely delighted with my win - $25 dollars to spend on fantastic crafty goodies? Yes please! But - and I just have to share this with you all! - even better, the lovely Lisa over at the Paper Parade actually gave me $30s! AND if that wasn't enough, when I received my package (via a friend who added even more goodies, but we'll get to that!) today, there was not only the 6, 6x6 pads I'd ordered, *but* also a 12x12 pad from Jenny Bowlin, two packs of die cut journal cards *and* a few embellishment goodies! Needless to day, I was delighted! So thank you Lisa, for your amazing generosity!

As well as the goodies from the Paper Parade, a friend in Texas who played intermediate post-lady, sent me some lovely stampin' up card and papers! *claps delightedly*

Naturally, these new goodies meant my plans for doing anything non-craft related for the afternoon, were waved a not very tearful goodbye!

This is the first card I made with my new goodies, it uses paper from Jillibean Soup's apple Cheddar Soup pack, this is just such a cute, fun little pack!

I used an image from Lily of the Valley, coloured with promarkers: sandstone, caramel, pastel pink, pale pink, pear green, marsh green, cool aqua, duck egg and amber.

I cut a flourish with my sizzix dies and the flower with my x-cut dies and punced the butterfly with my woodware punch. The ribbon is from sew sweet, the sentiment is stampin' up and I finished off with a few gems from my stash

I'm submitting this for:
- Sketch 'n Stash #105 - Sketch
- Created With Love #24 - Critter Birthday
- Passion for ProMarkers #181 - Whatever the Weather
- Stampavie and More #185 - Spots and Stripes
- Aud Sentiments Challenge - Bingo (Die Cut, Happy, Flowers)
