Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum 40. Geburtstag

I made this card for a friend of a friend - the image is from Kenny K, coloured with my Promarkers and the sentiment is computer generated.

The papers were from a new pack I got a couple of weeks ago but hadn't used yet, American Crafts Crate Paper Route 66. I cut the paper and image on my silhouette using 'stitched' square/circle files, layered it all up on black card and cut the stars on my silhouette too.

I'm submitting this for:

- Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge #33 - Use Something New
- Inspiration Destination #46 - Anything Goes

Sailor Bear

This card is for a friends Dad, who's birthday is next month, but since I'm going to see her in a week, I thought I'd take it with me now and save myself the postage (and remembering it!) later, lol!

I used an image from KaDoodleBug Designs, coloured with my ProMarkers and a computer generated sentiment. The papers are from Jen Hadfield's Pebbles pack, layered on grey card from the papermill. The Anchor border and the rope frame were cut on my cameo and I finished with a few little grey pearls, because we know I can't resist.

Snappy Birthday

I used a Pollycraft image for this card, coloured with my trusty promarkers. The orange paper is from Pebbles love you more pack and I used my cameo to cut the 'stitched' rectangles and the film strip, finishing with a couple of little gems because well I'm me and I never met a gem I didn't like, lol!

Cheers To You

I don't even drink very often, but I dearly wish right now I was on a nice beach somewhere, with a couple of these and a stack of books... because it's another horribly miserable day outside!

The image is from Digi Doodle Shop, coloured with my promarkers and I added a computer generated sentiment. I cut a card base with orange card from the paper mill. The papers are from Vol. 4 of The Paper Stack magazine and I tore the two top layers. Cut the circle die on my cameo and added a few gems of course to finish it off.

One Martini, Two Martini, Three Martini... Floor!

I won this stamp last week from Sassy Studio Designs, isn't she awesome? And appropriate for so many of my friends! lol! I coloured her with my promarkers and popped her into a polaroid frame.

I used papers from Jen Hadfield's Pebbles pack (I picked it up last week in TK Max, where I spent a good half hour narrowing the six packs I wanted to buy, down to just two! Damn my bank account for not being willing to let me buy all the paper! lol!)

Added a computer generated sentiment, a little martini glass (everything was cut on my cameo of course) and added a few gems to finish it off.

Hope You Have A Magical Day

I've not spent much time in my craft room this week, a combination of being too busy and a migraine that lasted 2 full days, but that has now gone away at least, so I was determined to get something made today!

When I saw the Harry Potter challenge come up on CCEE Stampers I was like 'omg yes I must!' because my geeky little heart loves Harry Potter. I had resisted buying HP digi stamps thus far on the basis that I wouldn't use them very often, but well... I couldn't resist and as luck would have it Bugaboo had a 50% of sale - clearly it was meant to be!

I decided on a step card base and used my cameo to fussy cut the images and coloured them with my promarkers. I wanted to use red/gold for the colours but I had no gold papers in my regular stash, so I dug into my christmas paper stash and got the paper I used from First Editions Gilded Winter paper pack. Then added a computer generated sentiment and some gems to finish it off.

I'm submitting this for:

- Craft Your Passion #272 - Anything Goes
- CCEE Stampers #1531 - Harry Potter
- Allsorts Challenge Blog #322 - Pearls or Gems
- Craft Friends Challenge Blog #11 - Movie Week
- Polkadoodles #31 - More Than One Fold

I used a pollycraft image for this card, coloured with my promarkers. The sentiment is computer generated.

Steampunk Angel

I love the steampunk style, but as it turns out, I don't have a lot of steampunky stuff in my stash so it took me days to put this together in my head and decide what to use! *head desk*

The image is from Aurora Wings, a gorgeous Steampunk Angel and I coloured her of course with my trusty promarkers and a little bit with a gold pen. The sentiment is computer generated. The papers are from K & Company and I layered them on brown card. The various cogs, the clock face and the oval were cut on my cameo and I added a few gems of course to finish it off!

Best Wishes

I got nothing done in my craft room yesterday because I had a hospital appointment that including travel took nearly 4 hours out of my day. Erk!

I very nearly got nothing done today either, because my brain was lacking in working earlier, but I finally pulled it together this afternoon and made this card!

I used an image from Cornish Heritage Farms and coloured it with my pencils (strange not to use my promarkers for once, lol!) The papers are from Craft Works Cards, Botanica range, which were freebies I got in a magazine. I layered it up on grey card, cut the image, heart background, flourish and butterfly on my cameo and layered them up, the top three layers are all on dimension pads. All the layers were very lightly distressed on the edges and the sentiment was stamped from craft words cards too and I added some little tiny white pearls to finish it off.

I'm submitting this for:

- Frilly and Funkie - Raise it Up
- Moo-Mania & More - In the Garden
- Aud Sentiment Challenge #136 - Anything Goes
- Digi Designs Challenge Blog - Hand Coloured Image
- Papertake Weekly - Build It Up

I made this card for my cousins little girl, who turns six later this year. She's a typical kid who loves sweets and lollies and chocolate! (let's face it, I'm not a kid and I love them too! lol!)

The image is from Pollycraft, coloured with my promarkers and the sentiment is computer generated. The papers were freebies in some magazine or another at some point and were layered on red card. I added a little pink/white twine, a punched heart and some gems to finish it off.

Happy Birthday To Moo

I do love a good (or bad!) pun! Actually I may like bad ones better! lol!

I used images from Digi Doodle Shop, coloured with my promarkers, cut the card base and gingham paper (from papermania) on my cameo and cut the computer generated sentiment on there too. And of course gems, because gems are important! All in all, only 20 mins including the colouring, that may be a record for me!

Make A Wish!

Summer is seems has gone away again in Northern Ireland, it's been a drab, overcast and wet weekend, Anyone familiar with N.Ireland will know that the 12th of July is a big deal for a lot of people, but I try to avoid it, so most of my weekend was spent buried in blankets, reading and re-watching Babylon 5, I'd forgotten how much I love that show! I did get one card done Saturday which I'll post later, but first, this one I did this morning.

I used an image from Digital Delights by LoubyLoo, coloured with my promarkers - does that cupcake just look yummy? Colouring food always makes me hungry! lol! The papers from Trimcraft's Party Animals paper pad. Layered it all up on brown card and finished it with a few gems (I know, you're all shocked).

I'm submiting this for:

Basketball Star

So one of the challenges this week, was to make something based of your favourite sport - well, let me tell you, I do not sport, lol! I don't watch or play any sort of sport as an adult - unless coffee drinking counts. But when I was growing up and in high school, I loved netball and basketball. Because netball is more of a 'girl sport' we played that more often, but I prefered basketball, mostly because I was better at it! So I figured that would count even if it's been at least 10 years since I played, lol!

I used the adorable Slam Dunk Barclay from Pollycraft and coloured him with my promarkers. The papers are all from the Papermania Happy Days pack, layered on light red card from papermill. I cut the sentiment, stars and circles on my cameo and added a few gems - naturally! - to finish it off.

Happy Birthday Flowers

I love this poppies stamp from Aurora Wings, but I didn't want to go with red on this card, so they've been coloured turquiose, because why not! I think they look awesome and go beautifully with the papers from My Minds Eye's Wildflower paper pack, layered on brown card - the art deco square was cut on my cameo - and the embellishments kept really simple, with just some pearls!

Summer Step Card

Summer has actually come to N.Ireland for once (as well as the rest of the UK) and so going with the theme, I picked this stamp from Pollycraft and coloured her with my promarkers.

The card base was cut on my cameo, in stampin up daffodil delight card. The sentiment, deck chair and sun were also cut on my cameo.

The papers (except for the sun which was just a random bit out of my scraps box) came from the My Minds Eye Lost and Found 3 pack. And yes, there are gems, because gems are important, lol!

I'm submitting this too:

Have A Heroic Birthday

So in a confession that will shock exactly no-one who knows me, I'm like a major geek. And the moment I saw this stamp I knew I had to have it. It's just a pity I don't know more people who would appreciate it, because Superheroes are awesome and Captain America is my favourite and yeah, I'm a geek, I don't even hide it (I really don't, in a twist of irony, I am even wearing a Captain America t-shirt today, although I didn't think about that when I started making this card, lol!)

I used of course, Captain Colin, from Digital Delights, coloured with my promarkers. The sentiment is computer generated and the little shield inside was found through google images but it linked to pinterest and I could not find a source!

I used papers from The Paper Stack Magazine, Volume 4, layered on red and blue card, on a blue card base. My cameo of course cut the stars and borders for the image/sentiment and yes, gems, because, gems are awesome.

I'm submitting this for:
- Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge - Let's Go To The Movies
- Little Miss Muffett Challenge - #115 - Red, White and Blue

Flying Roxter, Birthday Card

Look a card, yay! I spent yesterday afternoon in my craft room and (all being well!) plan to spend most of the weekend in there too! So there should be more soon!

This card uses Flying Roxter, from Digital Delights, coloured with my promarkers. The papers are from Pebbles Inc, Love You More/Boy Pack, layered on chocolate brown card. Cut the clouds - including the computer generated sentiment - on my silhouette and added a few little gems to finish.

It's been so long since I've submitted to any challenges, hopefully I still remember how this goes!
