ELZYBELL GIFT BAG -and a very happy Summer

Morning everyone

When I was very first introduced to stamping it was by a lovely friend of mine.  At that time she was very into stamping with the lovely Elzybell images.  Well, I had not tried stamping and I must say we had the most lovely happy Summer that year.  There is a vast distance geographically and I was embossing away making part embossed panels whilst my friend was happily stamping and colouring.  Parcels were whizzing back and forth with me sending lots of part embossed panels and then some were retained and others boomeranged back tome with these lovely images stamped and coloured! We had a real little production line going and Royal Mail must have been clapping their hands! lol They were such happy times,  So this is how this altered bag stemmed from.  I had one or two panels left over  (yes we were really ahead that Christmas!) so this Summer I decided to use some of them up, and what better way than to make an altered Gift Bag to takie to theCraft Fairs.  Well you know me and gift bags!

How is the lead up to Christmas going for you?  I have everything made but still a lot to do.

Thanks for looking today

ELZYBELL SPECIAL DAY!

Hi everyone

Well, I am not going to even start to comment on the weather, perhaps if we ignore it then it might get the message! lol

Today I have a card to share which I have made using a lovely Elzybell stamp (oh how we miss that shop!).  It has been coloured by a very dear friend of mine using Prisma Pencils.  So very clever, I always think!  I incorporated it with this fancy fold layout and am quite pleased with the effect.  There is not a lot to tell about this card, so briefly:

Die-cuts:  Magnolia
Punches: Martha Stewart
Flowers:  Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearls, Cheesecloth and Charm from EBay
Papers:  ? either prima or Melissa Frances I think?

I am hoping to be back with another one shortly,

SHAPE IT UP

Sorry to be a pest but this really is my last one today.  I think this makes 4!

I have a friend in Hospital now after having had major surgery and this is the card I made her.

I made the easel card using the Nestabilities dies and used this lovely sheep Elzybell stamp (adding Flower Soft).

The papers are by Trimcraft.

I used several dies here, Magnolia swirl, Nestabilitie,  Butterfly, and Marianne Creatables swirls at the foot.  Also Martha Stewart 'branch' punch for the leaves.  Oh and the flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

And a close up view
