Get Ready For This!

So, I left you hanging for a few days wondering...pacing...nail-biting...clicking and clicking...checking to see just WHAT the big new plan is.  Right??

Yeah, didn't think so.  But it's fun to imagine isn't it?

After some time thinking and asking friends for input, I've developed a plan for this blog in the coming year.  I'm combining my need for accountability, encouragement, and recording my research with my desire to reach out and cheer others on who are eager to make some changes in their own homes by enjoying the great benefits of a plant-based life.

So, without further wait, here's....The Big Reveal:

Sunday Sabbath
Quotes and encouragement toward healthy rest and worship
Monday Motivation
Summaries, quotes, goal setting, and inspiration to start the week strong
Tots-n-Teens Tuesday
Foods my kids love and ideas for training children in the kitchen
Q&A Wednesday
Answering questions from friends and readers and even myself!
Thursday Thrift
Plant-based on a budget
Fit Friday
Report on exercise, goals, and weekly weigh-in (accountability)
Saturday Set-Up
Ideas on prepping meals, menus and foods for the coming week

Now, before we all get TOO excited, let's remember I'm still a mom to a small army over here.  While I love this format, I need to be honest with myself and all of you, it's not going to happen every day

I hope you'll be patient with me as I work to carve out a bit of time each day to write as the Lord allows.  I do find blogging to be a fantastic outlet for me, but I need to always have my priorities in place.  Just know that I am hoping to get here daily even if it is just a short bit to share.  Pray for me to do all the Lord has chosen for me well and with great joy.

Of course, I don't expect every person I meet or those who read along to do what I do.  But, I sure am happy to share what I'm learning and how the Lord is working to help me heal, grow, and draw closer to Him through the blessing of His beautiful, simple creation..FOOD!  We aren't all going to enjoy it the same way, but we definitely can spur one another on to savor the benefits of His design: our bodies and His creation working together for His glory.

May the Lord be exalted in the coming year not only in my own efforts, but, through you as well! I'm praying for you, my friends, that He will also reveal His strength and power to you as He becomes greater and we become less!
