Old One Eye and Stealers Done

Getting there now with my mission to finish building my last batch of Nids to paint. I hope to get these painted after my Toxicrene and Hive Crone along with the Broodlord conversion I recently did. First though, I have three Warriors to convert into Hive Guard, I have been wanting to do this conversion for some time, so I can't wait to get started on them. More to come soon!

Tyranid Time Finished!

If you have been following my Blog you will know that I have been on a mission to finally finish all my unpainted Tyranid units before the end of the year. Well, they are all done now and the Tyranid Time challenge is complete. Genestealer Battle Report

I have been thinking about Genestealers for a while now, and I have played a unit here and there for some fun. So when I got a chance to play my son not so long ago, I thought I would give a big Stealer list a go and see what I can do with them. With the plan being to infiltrate all the Stealers upfront, I would need a distraction unit to go with them, so I chose a Flyrant as my Warlord and then two units of Y-Stealers to keep the theme going. Three Zoanthropes in a pod for some anti tank and a large unit of Hormagaunts to flank, thanks to the Flyrants Hive Commander, just for fun...

Nid Bargain Box!

Sometimes a bargain comes past you that you just have to take up, so when I saw this box of Nids in my local gaming shop for just £20.00, my money was in the till right away...

So that gives me some Y-Stealers, eighteen Termagants to add to my spawn collection and three Warriors ready to convert up into Hive Guard. What a bargain :)

More progress on my Stinger Hive Fleet with a second brood of Genestealers completed. I painted the backs slightly different than the first brood and added rocks to the base to make it easier to distinguish between the two broods...
