Good Morning!
A super quick post from me today, I have lots to do!
A new challenge over at Creative Fingers today - Link is HERE

Sponsors this week are

The East Wind - Link is HERE
and
Elvenstar Art - Link is HERE

I got to use the awesome image Sky by Elvenstar Art - Link is HERE

I went with quite a gothic looking card for this image which is stunning yet simple at the time.
The backing paper is out of two different paper pads from Poundland!
They are lovely!
Added some silver washi tape with the card candi too. Adds a bit of definition :)

Have fun with the "anything goes" challenge :)

SSD Sponsorship - Anything Goes

Good Morning!

I've a couple of cards to show you today for the Sassy Studio Sponsorship.

First up is an image I coloured ages ago! I loved her as soon as I seen her.
And I thought the sentiment was perfect :)
This is for sponsor of blog A Beautiful Mess - Link is HERE

The papers are a digital download from Etsy, the sentiment is printed from the pc and Catwomen has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. She has also been completely cut out. Had to get a bit of glitter and ribbon in there ;)

Next up is a super fun card for Crafting with Friends - Link is HERE
I used Mad Hatter Buttercream Babe, again, I'd had her coloured up for ages.
I went with a little bit of an outside the lines idea with this.
I like it tho! LOL

She's been coloured up using promarkers in mad hatter ish colours.
The papers matched perfectly I think, then I am biased as I love this card!
The little wooden wording sets the whole lot off I think :) :)

Thanks for popping by, we hope you'll enjoy the challenges and inspiration from the DT

SSD Sponsorships - Star Wars Themed

Hello!

Here today to show you a couple of Sassy Studio Sponsorships we have for the day.
First up is Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge - Link is HERE
The challenge is "Star Wars"
I've use Princess Leia on my ATC. The papers I had as part of a download set so used them.
The writing is handwritten in white gel pen with some washi tape and gems added for detail.

The second card is for Inspiration Destination - Link is HERE
Again I've stuck with the Star Wars theme as this is an "Anything Goes" theme.
I've used Yoda. But instead of leaving him flat, I've cut him out and layered him up :) :)

Have fun with the challenges!
You never know you may win!
Enjoy :)

MTTC DT - Inspired by The Beatles

Good Morning!

Another fun filled challenge over at My Time To Craft this fortnight!! - Link is HERE
Our challenge is

"Inspired by The Beatles"

It's up to you how you interpret the theme.
I went for something a little quirky and used and SBS image - Link to store is HERE

I mainly wanted to stick to a couple of colours and the red and blue sits well together. I've used 3 different types of patterned papers to add layers. The buttons and twine are added to the chevron strip with the greeting being printed off the pc. The image I've used is ASH from Jude and the Rockers range by Rachel Sharp. I do love these images! I've got the whole set so there maybe more cards made in the same colour schemes :)

Looking forward to see how everyone makes something with the theme :)

SSD Sponsorship - Banners

Afternoon!

Today SSD is sponsoring Paper A La Mode over at The OutLawz - Link is HERE
The current challenge is to use a banner. I've gone with someat a little different then your normal conventional banner so to speak.

Thought I'd colour the image in slightly different this time round as I usually do her red dress and black gloves so opted for green and a black background. Think it works. The sentiment I had printed for ages. Now the banners are a die cut with each end being pointed but I decided to cut one up to layer them up. Added a bit of card candi to make them look like buttons. The image has been coloured using Promarkers too :)

Really enjoyed making this CAS card with a darker background than I usually do!

I decided to go with a different colour than I've used before, teal. I do really like the teal and brown together. Would never have really thought about it either. The image itself is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and I've used 3 different patterned papers, 3 different coloured star buttons, 3 different coloured twines and 3 different coloured card candi. And yes, I know I've used 4 buttons but 2 are the same colour LOL!

I think I shall be using this image again!

OutLawz Monday Greetings DT - Make me laugh/smile...

Bring me sunshine... all the while... No idea why i have that stuck in my head!
Anyways... Hello!

Today I'm with you for another Monday Greetings challenge - Link is HERE.
This week's challenge we are asking you to make a creation that will make you laugh or smile.
We also have a super sponsor this week which is Scribble's Designs - Link to blog HERE.

I've gone with a CAS card as I wanted the picture quite prominent.

I have the pleasure of using Gumballs Mason Jar - Link to image is HERE.
I've coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pens including shading the jar. The sentiment reads "Candy makes life so sweet!" I thought the greeting was apt. I also added 4 card candi to pull the colours of the jar out on to the white space :)

I hope to see many creations over at the OutLawz! :)

I've had the papers for aggggeeeesssssss! And never knew what to do with them until now! And I think this image is perfect for the papers. I did choose the papers before I coloured the image, and I love it! I used the 3 main colours with a bit of white thrown in too. Also had to get my new embossing snow folder in there too and of course a snowflake! Sentiment was printed off the pc. The image is from Melonheadz.

So that's one down and about 63 to go LOL!

The challenge theme is "cheeky"

I've used Pin Up Bunny and go with a bit of play on words ;)

She's been coloured with grey copics, skin tone spectrum noir's and brown hair promarkers. I also used a glitter pun on her garter and shoes. Kept the card quite CAS as I think the image speaks for itself :)

FBF - Buttercream Babes

Another Friday so another FBF image and another Buttercream Babe! whoop!

This is the third part of my bigger project.

Again, I went with the diamond papers and lots of green gems! This one reminded me of Maleficent hence the colours. I think, out of all the Buttercream Babes, this one is my favourite. Added a die cut bow with a green background plus the card candi.

Next week, after the last FBF image, I shall be showing the finished project :)
Enjoy the image!

CF DT - Melonheadz

Beens as the weather is lovely atm, I opted for a bright summery card....

LOVE them ice lols! The "mmmmm" is chipboard wording. I added the twine in ever colour that I'd used on the ice lols with the card candi to match too.

Have fun with your "anything goes" creations!

FBF - Buttercream Babe

Ready for the second installment of my "bigger" project?!

This weeks Flash Back Friday image is another Buttercream Babe..
This one you can definitely who this one is based on!
You'll find her on the front page of the store.. HERE.

I've used a diamond backing paper for this one and used to blue to highlight the blue on the cake/dress. The pearls, I think I nearly used up a set! They took a while stick down too. The buttercream Babe herself has been coloured using promarkers and spectrum noirs.

there we have it! Another awesome Buttercream Babe :)

FBF - Buttercream Babe

Alright?!

A super cool FBF for you this week from Sassy Studio.. it's a buttercream babe!
Absolutely amazing! I had soooo much fun colouring this up! Anyways, on to the creation...

I've coloured her in with just three colours, red black & grey. I have mixed as well with the pens as per! lol I've 3D'd her slightly away from the striped backing paper too. Added the card candi round the outside and added gems to the middle. The hearts have been punched out in red and black card.
This is part of a bigger project, but at the moment I can't say or show you the rest..... ;)

Check it out! Do love this image :)

MTTC DT - Spring Flowers

Good Morning!
I hope we inspire you with our Spring Flowers over at MTTC this week.
I was going to use a different image but realised I'd purchased the wrong one but no biggy cuz I loooove this image from Just Inklined.

The image as I said earlier is from Just Inklined and is called Narcissus. I think these flowers are white with yellow/orange centers. I planned on doing this and then coloured a petal in yellow so I had no choice unless I wanted to start again lol. Beens I'd coloured the image in yellow I thought I'd be bright and use yellow spotty paper too. I always back everything on black so that was no surprise really. I wanted to keep the image the main focus so kept the embellishments to a minimum.

So there we have it, spring has sprung :)

Something New

Good Morning..  Hope you all had a great christmas & fab new year too.  We are finally back with a new challenge over at My Time ...
