Tea Time

Hello! It's Alyson here from Create with Alyson and it's Tea Time this week at Heart 2 Heart. Have you ever wanted to just relax with a friend and have a hot cup of tea? It is often the perfect touch to a long, hard day or just to share with friends or family. How about sitting by the fire with a cup of tea, or perhaps just watching TV with the cat or dog cuddled up beside you. A cup of tea often seems to make everything just a little bit better, doesn't it? 

Well, here at Heart 2 Heart, we want you to share your cup of tea with us! Of course you don't have to use the Close To My Heart March stamp of the month, Tea-rrific, to participate in this final March challenge.  It is a great choice, however!

Hip to be Square

It's all about the square - open or closed, to add a border or not to add a border, to layer or not to layer... Perhaps the song "Hip to be Square" by Huey Lewis and the News comes to mind - I know that is an old favourite of mine and remains in my music collection today. Maybe square means something totally different to you that we haven't even considered! 
If you choose to use the shape of a square, your project can be simply a square shape, a series of squares, interlocking squares, multiple squares or any combinations of squares that you can create. Or surprise us and do something totally different with the square theme - after all, it's "Hip to be Square" this week!

Life is GOOD

Summertime and the livin' (and craftin') is easy!

Maybe it's eating fresh produce from your garden or farmers' market or barbecue with friends. Maybe it's a family vacation or a lazy day reading and napping in a hammock or visiting on a porch swing. Perhaps it is celebrating a wedding or birthday any time of year. We scrapbook all kinds of moments to help us remember the good times. Looking back, we can probably say that despite its sometimes unpleasant difficulties, for the most part, life is good.

What does living the good life mean to you? Show us how your Life is GOOD by making a papercrafting or digital project -- be sure to use at least some Close To My Heart supplies -- and link up your blog to Heart 2 Heart Challenges. For this challenge, you'll have to hurry! All July challenges close July 31. This is the final challenge in the "Life is" series. Come back next week for the first August challenge on a different theme.
