Technique Challenge: Stamping

Hello to all our fabulous followers, can we believe we have arrived at our first challenge of August already, August! For our followers in the states, kids are heading back to school and those in Canada we are enjoying a long weekend this week and have a few more weeks before school routines return...but August, we are already to August, how did this happen? Anyways, it did happen and with it come a new challenge for you all; this week our challenge is all about stamping. Flora or Fauna

Hello and welcome to our 2nd challenge for April! This week we have a fun challenge for you, we want you to share a project that features Flora or Fauna. For those who may not know, Fauna is all of the animal life present in a particular region or time. The corresponding term for plants is Flora. So we are making it super simple show us your projects with flowers or animals! Please keep in mind, your project should include at least one Close to My Heart product.

What's Your Angle?

Hello! Welcome to the first challenge in April with H2H Challenges. Before I get to our first challenge of the month, it is my turn to say Hi and introduce myself. My name is Brandi Robinson and I am not sure how long I have been on the Heart 2 Heart Design team but it has been several years, definitely over 5 probably closer to 10, I guess in the 7-8 year range. I am a die hard scrapbooker who happens to make cards. I started scrapbooking shortly after I got married when I stumbled upon a scrapbooking store and told my husband we are going in. I was immediately inspired by the pages and paper and everything and thought, "wouldn't it be great to have a scrapbook of our first year of marriage?" He agreed and the rest is history! So I have been scrapbooking since 2003 and I joined CTMH in 2008 when I moved to Canada. I love all things paper crafting but my heart is with scrapbooking and card making is a very close second!

Now, time to talk challenges! This week our challenge is What's Your Angle? and the goal is to use angles on your projects.

Technique Challenge: Add a Border

Borders can add so much to a design. You can stamp, die-cut, tear, and draw borders - the possibilities are only limited to your imagination. Whatever you chose to do, we just ask that you share your Add a Border creation with us here at Heart2Heart.

Green Thumb

Welcome to another Heart 2 Heart Challenge!

This week our Challenge Theme is GREEN THUMB! This is a fun one as it can be open to your interpretation. You may have an exceptional aptitude for gardening and/or you may be successful at growing plants. On the other hand you may not have a true green thumb but this would give you the opportunity to create like you did. Or you may simply choose to use green in your project. These challenges can be open to how you interpret them. Just remember you MUST use at least ONE Close to My Heart product in your work and be sure to identify what it is in your write up Most importantly have fun!!
