Anniverasry Wall Art Tribute and a Love Story!
It's the year of my 20th anniversary!
I know a lot of people my age have been married a lot longer than that, but I have been blessed to have FINALLY found the perfect mate for me...after a dud or two or three or four! Not marriages mind you!
I have decided to tell you how we met and during this process, tell you how I made this Anniversary Wall Art Tribute!

CopyCat Art
I can not take credit for this design. Credit goes to Doreen's blog of Hymns and Verses! When I first saw her tutorial on a Valentine's canvas HERE, where she actually gives the templates to use, I knew that this would be the perfect wedding gift to my daughter's dear friend. This is the one that Doreen made and shared...

Art from Sharpie Pens!
If you are like me, you learn so much on what others share via blogs and Pinterest that there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to study it all or even begin to make it.
I do find however, that there are some things that peak my interest so much, especially when it is this simple and fun.
See, the plate? A really simple and fun project that even the kids can get in on...Here's how,

Roses are magnetic!
I adore the look of silver and have made many displays using my collection of silver pieces.
This is surely not a new idea, but I wanted something to put in my booth for sale that was fun and functional.
I already had some silver trays but needed to come up with some kind of magnets that were...pretty!

My little piece of nature!
Have you ever noticed all the ANTLERS in room decor these days? There is a wonderful website with a wealth of beautiful homes called, houzz.com, and you can search photos with anything you are looking for. Since I have seen tons of antlers in room decorating, I decided to do a search and see the UNexpected and expected. See if you can find the antlers.

Framed Rose Print Serendipity!
To me, it is serendipity when things just fall into place or when I am at the right place, at the right time.
This is the case with my framed rose print.
I came across a beautiful old rose print that had damaged edges and the previous owner folded the sides to make it fit another frame. I have a thing for roses, especially vintage.

The Nest Is Best!
This is a quick little craft that took me no time.
It started with a vintage white ironstone Johnson Brothers gravy boat and attached oval saucer. NOTE: This saucer was attached by the manufacturer and can not be removed.
I really loved the lines and color of this piece and instead of selling it in my booth, I decided to make it into...

Quick Change Beauty!
Do you ever feel like a Quick Change?
One that will make an impact that is pretty, easy and with 'stuff' that you already have on hand.
That is the case with this fun project. I was admiring my newly painted master bedroom (you can see more on that HERE), and I decided that it was time for a bit more change. I have a vintage oval frame from a garage sale that I painted white and added my late grandmother's hankie collection to for display.

Buyer's Remorse To Buyer's Rejoice!
Have you ever bought something and had buyer's remorse when you had time to think more clearly? This happened to me about a month ago.

This and That at a Clients Home
I found this dark brown vinyl Laundry room art on Etsy. Then, I found the cute tan vinyl clothes pins from a different seller. I ordered the two and combined them for wall art in my clients laundry room.

Please Remove Your Shoes & A Clients Foyer
I can't say that this was my idea. I got the idea from Pinterest where there is a wealth of great ideas. I was initially overwhelmed with decorating a huge home by myself, but a friend that I helped decorate her new home recently told me, "You are the Queen of putting personality into a home!" (Thanks Lindsay) That is all it took to spur me on to this new project. So here is how I put personality into the foyer of this home.

Wall Flower Art
These plastic Wall Flowers are popular right now. Have you seen them?
I have a client that had these on the wall in her little daughter's bedroom. Since I was decorating this room, I needed this wall space for something else (I will share more on that in another post).
These flowers stick on the wall with peel and stick tape and it is very hard to get it off the wall without any wall damage. They can be purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond.
