Getting Cricky With It!

WELCOME FRIENDS! The LIVE UStream for ALL of the stamp debuts begins at 8pm Central! Click HERE to be taken there to join in the fun!

As a Design Team member, I am showcasing the 'Positive Thoughts' stamp set as you have seen in various other projects of mine this past week! I bring this to you today for our 1st Getting Cricky With It Blog Hop! WOO HOO! You should be arriving here (your last stop) from Rebecca H's Blog. You can begin, or end at K. Andrew's Blog by clicking HERE!

So, before I divulge the creative details I'd like to pose a few questions and provide my personal answer to you.

1.) There are a LOT of sentiment stamp creators right now, how are K. Andrews different?! Well my Fabulous Friends, I would NOT lead you astray! K. Andrews stamps are different for several reasons. A. They are cut directly around the print, leaving no extra area to mistakenly pick up ink or transfer in any unwanted area. B. (My FAVORITE) She donates $1 from EVERY stamp set to various charities, ALWAYS! C. They can be used with ANY ink safely D. They are easy to use, leaving a sharp, clear image. E. They clean and store nicely. F. K. Andrew's is careful to be UNIQUE in her images and what she presents and finally, G. Kristal is a SUPER sweet gal, always considerate and giving to those of us loyal to her!

2.) How much are they?! Well, normally $15.99 but RIGHT NOW ONLY $14.99 AND, considering that you are making a charitable donation, ONLY $13.99 ;)

I welcome any other questions, or suggestions you may have and I'm happy to pass them on to her. As always, though I may receive products to use and highlight for you, I will ALWAYS, WITHOUT FAIL or lapse, only give you the TRUTH as I know it and my HONEST opinion!

Now, check out the INTERACTIVE project I have to share with you! It's a 7x9 piece of art work, perfect for a gift to a friend. The title is in fact, 'dear friend' because using these sayings made me think of something I'd like to share with a friend and then she can have this as a reminder when in self doubt!

The letters are cut from the 'Calligraphy' cartridge with a shadow. I LOVE baker's twine and added it here with my FAVORITE embellishment, BUTTONS!

The wheel spins and reveals 6 nice things a friend needs to hear....

"Whimsy is essential."

"A Queen is not afraid to fail." (With a Petaloo flower and Hiedi Swapp vintage bling).

"Attitude is everything."

"Happiness is an inside job."

"Brave is beautiful."

and,

"You are the weaver of your own dreams."

I think the mix of fonts is really fun and I stamped in co-ordinating Quick Quotes Powder Puff Inks. The papers are all from Quick Quotes Club Q this month, as well as the projects shown previously!

I hope you've had fun hopping with us! Thank you for your support. Remember that I have my BIGGEST giveaway YET going on RIGHT NOW for over $500 in Products and Prizes! Click HERE to be taken there to participate!

For today's hop I would like to GIVE AWAY THIS stamp set, 'Positive Thoughts,' that I've enjoyed and share all week! Leave a comment below once you've become a follower and I'll draw a random winner on Monday! Thank you dear FABULOUS FRIENDS! Have a fantastic weekend!

YOU Control Your Own DESTINY!

Are you as excited as I am for the Getting Cricky UStream tonight?! Kristal will be debuting 6 new stamp sets! WOO HOO! The UStream Address is GettingCricky.

This is yet ANOTHER project I've created with the 'Positive Thoughts' stamp set by K. Andrew, with yet ANOTHER theme! I just LOVE the versatility! (Purchase this stamp set for $14.99 by clicking HERE and $1 will go to a youth and children's homeless shelter)! Also repeated are the papers. Quick Quotes Club Q leftovers-I've made EIGHT projects with June's kit!

The cuts are from the Lacey Labels Cricut cartridge. I added Glossy Accents to the hearts to make them POP and HAD to use these Bazzill Bling crystal flowers! LOVE THEM! The small red pearls are from CTMH and I chose the Blue Hawaiian PowderPuff Chalk Ink to stamp with.

I hope to see you this evening at the UStream and then back here again for our DT Blog Hop with never before seen projects! {HUGS}

Super FUN Father's Day Card!

I'm REALLY enjoying the versatility of K. Andrew's 'Positive Thoughts' stamp set! You've already seen my Teacher gift and Birthday card, now look at this FUN Father's Day card I made!

The card is shown here, posed with the mugs we made at Michael's this week for my scrubby (scrapbook-hubby)!

The DAD is cut from the Mickey Font on my Cricut (then hand stitched with a white pen), and the 'postage stamp' border is from the French Manor cartridge. The moustache is hand cut and then covered with Glossy Accents. I added mini ric-rac across the bottom and emphasized the "Today...is your day!" sentiment with a burgundy button filled with glossy accents. It is ALL created with leftovers from this month's Club Q from Quick Quotes and I used the Bloody Mary Powder Puff Ink Pad to stamp with! These stamps are SO crisp they will work with EVERY ink pad out there! I L-O-V-E working with them!

I really like how it turned out-simple and FUN!

Remember that TOMORROW is a special day! We'll begin with a Design Team Blog Hop and end with the NEW K. Andrew stamp releases in a UStream! WOO HOOO! I hope you have your calenders marked to join us!

SEW CUTE! ;)

This is a card I created for my GCAP grooup. I was inspired by the Basic Grey papers and the Coutry Life Cricut cartridge! I used real thread, bobbins and needles!

I ALWAYS have coordinating cards with my envelops, so that's what's tucked in my sewing machine! Kristals 'Simply Sunday' challenge is SEW FABULOUS so I'll be entering this over there!

I hope your weekend has been well and you're enjoying the 'Friday the 13th' Blog Hop! MWAH
