Valentine's Day Treat Pouches

OK, So I know Valentine's Day was yesterday but I wanted theses little treats to get to their recipients before I showed them here so as not to spoil the surprise.

I made just two of these treat pouches, one each for two very special young ladies, my nieces.

I used the lovely Something Borrowed Papers and trimmed them with a strip of Real Red Card punched with the Heart Boarder Punch.  The Tag was punched out with the Note Tag Punch and the greeting is from Pictogram Punchs.  

The heart in the greeting has been given a little lift with one of the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers which fit over the top perfectly.  The tag was tied on with some of the Sahara Sand Lace Trim.

My nieces are both very talented lovely people (OK so I may be biased, but they are) and one talent and passion they both share is for music.  When I was in Orlando discovering what I think is now one of my favourite shops, Charming Charlie, I came across these and just could not resist getting them one each.

You're A Star Card featuring the Pictogram Punches Stamp Set From Stampin' Up!

I thought we would take a break from the Christmas Cards today so I have a card which features a saying I use a lot - You're a Star. 

These particular cards were made as thank you cards for the wonderful cast of a show I directed recently.  The Crumb Cake layer has been punched using the Confetti Star Punch, stamped with the greeting from Pictogram Punches and then mounted onto a layer of Coastal Cabana.  The Star was punched with the Star Punch from some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper which I had coloured with Coastal Cabana Ink.

Fun with the Pictogram Punches Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

Today I have a fun card for you which features the wonderful Pictogram Punches and the matching Itty Bitty Accent Punches.

I have used the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder on the background and then added a star from the set onto each of the dots and then added an accent panel stamped with the other star stamp.  And here is the detail of the punched out flower.

Flowers in the Window with Pictogram Punches from Stampin' Up! UK

Sometimes inspiration literally comes from the things you see around you and the card I am sharing today started when I noticed a pretty vase of flower in the window of one of the houses I can see from my craft room window.

I love the vase and flowers in the Pictogram Punches Stamp Set so decided to use those.  I love that there is a matching punch for the flower! The pretty blind was made from some Color Me Autumn Paper.

The greeting is from the Four You Stamp Set and here is the whole card

Pictogram Punches Christmas Card

I love how versatile the Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets are and today I am going to show you a Christmas Card made with the same stamp set as the floral card I showed you yesterday, the lovely Pictogram Punches. 

The card base is Pool Party and the Smoky Slate layer has been embossed using the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder.  The greeting is from the Good Greetings Stamp Set (check yesterday's post to find out how you can get this stamp set for FREE this month). The stars were all cut from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper using the Star Framelits and the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

Celebrate Autumn with Flowers using Pictogram Punches Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

Flowers always cheer the day especially when the weather is as cold and damp as it has been here for the last few days, so today I am going to share a card featuring some autumnal flowers made using the Pictogram Punches Stamp Set.

he card base is Sahara Sand and I have used a Blackberry Bliss Layer to coordinate with the Color Me Autumn Washi Tape.  The flowers are Hello Honey and Calypso Coral, and I have also coloured some pearls with the Calypso Coral Blendabilities.  Some of the flowers from the Pictograms Stamp Set have been punched out using the coordinating Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  The greeting is from the Good Greetings Stamp Set and has been punched out with the Word Window Punch and layered onto the Modern Label Punch.

Scrapbook Saturday - Making A Christmas Scrapbook Page with Non Christmas Supplies

This week I am going to share the scrapbook page I designed for our quarterly team training in Peterborough last weekend.  We have so much fun when we get together and also spend some time getting ready for the upcoming months, hence the Christmas themed Scrapbook Page!  

I thought it would be fun to show how versatile the Stampin' Up! Supplies are so thought not only would I sit in the sun thinking about Christmas but I would also use non Christmas Supplies and this is what I came up with.

The papers I used are from the All Abloom Paper Stack and I have used the Work of Art and Pictogram Punches Stamp Sets.  I also used the new Star Framelits (which I am totally in love with!) and the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder.

I particularly enjoyed playing with the masks - if you have not checked them out yet you can find them here and here.  They are a fantstic way to add some visual interest to the background and were very quick and easy to use.

And did you spot those beautiful green sparkly stars?  I used my Mellow Moss Marker to colour some of the new Dazling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and punched them with the star from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  You can also see the Glimmer Paper uncoloured on the baubles.

Team Congratulations Gifts using the new Stampin' Up! Kraft Grid Journals

Before the new Stampin' Up! UK Catalogue was launched I ran a little competition with my team and had planned to send out one prize to one winner.  However the team really roe to the challenge and I ended up sending out four!  I challenged the team to take photos of their catalogues in unusual places or doing amusing things.  Their entries often made me really giggle and certainly were a lot of fun to follow.

I also had a lot of fun making their prizes!  I used the wonderful new Kraft Grid Journals.  I decorated them using the Work Of Art, Something to Say, Pictogram Punches and Everything Eleanor Stamp Sets and some of the delightful Venetian Crochet Trim.

Work of Art Paper Bag Album and a cute trick with your punches

Today I am going to be spending the day with some of the lovely people in my team and I am really looking forward to seeing them.  One of the projects I will be teaching is this cute little mini book.

It is based on the adorable Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bags.

I have decorated it with papers from the All A Bloom Paper Stack.

And of course lots of stamping.  I used the Work of Art Stamp Set.

and Pictogram Punches Stamp Set.
