Halloween Week - How to Make Haribo Sweet Treat Wraps

Can you believe this is the last project in our week of Halloween Projects?  As you may know I love to make little treats to had out and like to have some sweets ready for Halloween trick or treaters.  When I saw the Haribo Trick or Treat bags I knew what I wanted to do this year.

These wraps are made from 4 inch wide strips of paper scored 3 inches in from each end.  I stapled the bags of sweets inside and then I had fun decorating them.

Halloween Week - How to Make a Treat Pouch with the Gift Bag Punch Board

Sometimes for Halloween you might want to give a little treat which does not involve calories and the treat pouch I am sharing today could hold sweets but is ideal for a little lip balm or something similar.
Halloween Week - How to Make a Treat Pouch with the Gift Bag Punch Board
This cute pouch is really easy to make using the Punch Board Gift Bag.  Rather than making a whole bag I started with a piece of paper measuring 12cm by 15 cm (4 3/4 x 6 inches) and punched and scored two bag sides next to each other.  I then punched the top and trimmed out some sections to end up with a template that looks like this.

I then had a fun decorating the pouch.  Oh and if you like roses this lip balm from Rose and Co is lush!

Check back tomorrow for the next project from Halloween Week - a make in a moment decoration which could last you all autumn.  Can you believe we only have two more projects to go?

Halloween Week - How to Make Paper Treat Cones

Back in 2010 I shared an advent project with some of my lovely customers that was made up of pretty cones and I had forgotten all about it and how much fun it was to make until I saw it hanging up and still looking great at one of their houses last Christmas.  I remember thinking how fun they would be as cones to fill with pop corn on a movie night, or with sweets at a candy bar.
Halloween Week - How to Make Paper Treat Cones
What better time of year to have a candy bar than at a Halloween Party!  Most of these cones were made using a piece of paper measuring 6x6 inches.  The large one, which would be great as a popcorn bucket or to serve other treats in was made using a 12x12 sheet.
Halloween Week - How to Make Paper Treat Cones
These are easy to make and you could get the whole family involved in doing them.
Halloween Week - How to Make Paper Treat Cones
You fold the square in half diagonally, then open it out again.  Take each side into the middle and form a kite shape as shown.  Fold over the top.  Add your adhesive and stick the cone together so the two back pieces overlap.
Halloween Week - How to Make Paper Treat Cones
For a party you might want to leave them quite plain and let the gorgeous papers do all the work but that does not mean you can't decorate them ...
Halloween Week - How to Make Paper Treat Cones
Have fun making your treat cones and be sure to check back tomorrow for another project you might want to try if you are having a Halloween Party.
