Santa Claus is comin' to town!
Happy FriYAY, friends! I can't believe how quickly the time is flying! I am so not ready for the holidays.
Today, I am sharing another fun simple holiday card that I created using several of the amazing products available in the shop. I started with a black card base and a fun piece of patterned paper, followed with green cardstock accents. I die-cut a cardstock circle and carefully layered Brick Washi Tape over it to create a chimney.
Even though I had taped my die down to the green cardstock, it moved and cut part of the circle edge off, so I trimmed it into a straight line and trimmed the washi circle down to match. I added Santa (brad) to the "chimney" and popped that circle up on foam dots. To complete my card, I added Black and Red Glitter Enamel Dots. I didn't add a sentiment, as I felt the patterned paper did enough.
I am so happy to have knocked another Christmas card out! I am so thankful for the Eyelet Outlet products that make it so easy to create fun and festive cards without too much fuss!

Pictures with Santa
I've got a trivia question for you today. What was the name of the department store in the movie, "A Christmas Story?" It was Higbees! I love that scene as it reminds me of my brother and I visiting Santa at the Boston Store in Erie, Pennsylvania in the 60's. I created a Christmas card for you today that takes me back to that happy memory.

Magical Mountain Christmas Drive
Today I've brought you a cute mountain truck scene. This little red truck with a cheery wreath is driven by no other than Santa himself! He's loaded the truck bed with an ornament, tree, snowman and present! He's driving along a peppermint road with wintery glittered trees and majestic mountains. It even includes a Merry Christmas sentiment across the card. All of this is created by Eyelet Outlet brads, Washi Tape and bling!
This card was really quick to make when the background is almost all washi tape and EO brads and bling complete the scene. This particular truck stamp is from Art Impressions. It's called Christmas Truck Set. It's perfect to load up with your seasonal embellishments.

Santa Clause Is Coming To Town!
Santa Clause is definitely coming to town! It's hard to believe that Christmas is less than a week away. Are you making last minute Christmas cards? I know I am! This was a fun one to make with a quick little watercolor window scene. The Santa and Snowman Couple Brads fit perfectly into the scene. The Gift Brads are a perfect accent to the stamped sentiment. I used two washi tapes on this card also. First the background to the window is Glitter Star Washi Tape. I also used Sparkle White Glitter Washi Tape under the die cut border.
I think this one was a great last minute project and it'll be popped into the mail on Monday. I hope you all have a great countdown to Christmas and that your holiday meets all your expectations!

Mini Christmas Explosion Box, Oh My!
Hi everybody! Leslie here sharing a super fun and easy mini explosion box with you today! Are you done with your Christmas crafting or are you still feverishly creating fun stuff?! Christmas is my favorite holiday so you'll find me in my studio creating fun Christmas cards and projects all year long! I love to create all kinds of 3-D projects, especially explosion boxes with three or four layers inside to embellish, but when I saw this mini, I just HAD to make one because it's the perfect size to decorate inside with our brads! Although I used my electronic die cutting machine, this could very easily be hand-cut and scored at 2" intervals.
I cut the explosion box base from metallic green cardstock, the inside panels from Christmas patterned cardstock, and the outside panels from two other Christmas cardstock patterns. I kept the embellishing very simple and used one Candy Cane Brad, one Gingerbread Brad, a Santa from the Santa & Mrs. Claus Brads, and one Snowman Brad to decorate the inside panels. I stamped the sentiment in red ink on the center panel cut from white cardstock, and finished the box with a tiny bow fashioned from green and white dotted ribbon.
