Hold on to Your Dreams

I got great mail today. After waiting for ages I opened the mail today to my Autumn Magnolia Stamp Club stamps. Oh they are so lovely. I could hardly wait to use them.

The first thing I had to do was find a challenge that I could use my new stamps. Lucky me. I found the following sketch at http://2sketches4you.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html .

This is a great spot to go for challenges. They put a new one up each week. Sooooo, guess what I colored with...Prismacolored Pencils. I have asked for the markers for Christmas just for a change. But until then, I love my pencils. I had great fun mixing the colors reds, oranges, greens and browns with the golden hues to color the flowers and the leaves. It is a great stamp set...6 angels and 10 other stamps. Gotta love those Magnolia stamps.

I used all kinds of dimensionals on this card. I tried to show a side view but its not that great. I put the leaves and the log directly on the DP and the rest are on dimensionals. I ordered these from Jody Morrow at http://confessionsofaribbonaddict.blogspot.com/ . Jody often has ribbon and sticky sales. Her dimensions are great. I am getting low so hope she has a sale again soon.

I purchased the DP at Michaels and it does not have a label in the back but I`m guessing Provo Craft or Canson since those are their two big papers. It is beautiful fall paper.
