June has been crazy busy over here.
Camp Big Springs.
The Zoo with Korin.
Dinner up at Camp.
Commercial Art Workshops.
The Sweet Tooth Fairy.
Commercial Photography Workshops.
Dustyn's Birthday.
Father's Day.
New nephews.
Yearbook Camp.
Gardening.
Family Reunion in Boise.
Packing, unpacking, repacking, and unpacking just to repack. And then repeat three times.
And of course there is loading the car, unloading the car, loading the car to unload it. You get the idea. :)
Broken Sprinklers.
Jace and Katie's Sealing.
Photo shoots. (we have three weddings in the next little while. craziness!)
Lost a camera, won a camera (not for me. boo), broken laptop. boo.
And on and on.
We were home approximately 7-9 days during the whole month of June.
I am glad to be home.
It has been a looong month and I am glad it's july.
July = Best month ever.
We started it off right. (our town has the best 4th of July celebration. ever. does anyone else feel like that towards their town?)
Today we went to Cars 2. Completely enjoyed it. Even Gage like it. But, mostly he liked the Red Vine that helped distract him for the last 10 minutes. You think he got it good? You should have seen me. (oh yes, and his diaper was half off and falling out of his shorts! ha ha)
Sprinklers.
Baths.
The Diaper Derby. Gage won the first heat (by running to someone else) and then came in third the next heat (because he was running to me. ha ha). I am sure next year he will beat all those kids in the older races. (do they do anything for 2 year olds?) I just can't believe I have my own reason to attend the diaper derby. It's awesome.
Flavorless Sno-cones. Is there anything better? :)
(until you dump it on yourself)
Swings.
We are exhausted.
We are excited for it all to start again Monday.
Hopefully I get around to talking about the rest of the month. :)

permission
The internet is a crazy thing.
I love it and hate it all in the same breath.
I love catching up with people, blogs and my friends.
I love making friends.
I love that I am documenting little bits and pieces of our lives. (i am a HORRIBLE journal writer)
I love that I can google anything at any time of day and find an answer to a random piece of trivia.
I hate that I spend time on my computer that I could be spending with my family.
I hate that I feel like I have to get permission to take a break.
I hate that I feel guilty for not commenting on blogs or facebook.
I hate that I feel guilty over not posting on my blog.
I guess what I am trying to say is that I may or may not be around for while. I am still figuring out the working mom and wife thing. I am probably going to be a horrible friend for awhile. (you can still text me or email me anytime - and please do)
Eventually I will try, try again.
Until then, I might be here and there every now and again, but for right now, I need to get rid of the guilt. I realize no one cares if I post or not or if I comment, but I guess this is me giving myself permission.
I can go a week or two without logging on to the internet. It's OKAY! I will survive without knowing what is happening in everyones lives. It's okay if I don't go back and read a weeks worth of facebook updates. (yes, I am lame)
Hopefully I will be back soon with GUILT-FREE posts.
Until then, I'll be chillin' with my favorite boys and trying to be a better wife and mother.

Excuses.
You may have noticed I haven't been around.
You may not have noticed.
I have not read blogs.
I have not commented.
I have been the worst friend ever lately.
But remember I love you all.
All, my blog readers.
Even those closet readers.
Yes, even you.
Life has been crazy lately.
The first part of July we had a possible adoption situation that didn't end up working out. That is my first excuse.
Here is my next attempt at an excuse.
This is our new home away from home.
We have been working 60+ hours a week at the stand.
It's been great for us.
But, when I get home, I am far too exhausted to blog, play on the computer, or anything really.
Some nights Dustyn gets dinner, sometimes he doesn't.
We have been making an extra attempt at saving more money for our adoption fund. We are hoping that if we are able to save up a pretty good amount we can look into some different options that come along. We hear about situations all the time but they just aren't in our budget. We are hoping that working at the produce stand will help give us the opportunity to consider some of these situations.
Definitely a blessing.
But hot. Very, very hot blessing.
The average temp has been around 100*.
Last week it got to 104*.
Hot.
I hope you are having a great summer.
I am hoping to get back to blogging and such soon.
If not, I'll see you in October. ;)

Monday, monday!
Remember Evonne? From the last post? You know the one giving away a camera?
Well she's at it again. But this time she is giving away (3) $25.00 gift certificates to Texas Roadhouse.
I seriously LOVE Texas Roadhouse. Best. Restaurant. Ever.
Last week was crazy! Out of control busy. I barely made it through. I had all kinds of things to post and didn't end up posting anything. Hopefully I will get around to it this week. Have a great week!
