I coloured it using Promarkers and then painted Stickles onto the wings, after which I matted and layered it onto gold mirri card and white card. I then coloured some peel off letters and created the sentiment.

Happy new year
Creative Corner has a new challenge starting today. It is being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet and the theme is Happy New Year.
I have used their digital stamp called 'Please drink more responsibly'. I coloured it using Promarkers then cut it out using a Tattered Lace oval die and matted it onto black card. I had some papers in my stash from a very old magazine, so I matted both of these onto black card before attaching them to a card blank. I also had some red beading peel off so I used these to mirror the necklace on the image. Finally I added a sentiment cut from black card using a Tattered Lace die.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

At the beach
We start a new challenge at Creative Corner today, the theme of which is 'At the beach'.
I wrapped satin ribbon round the lower edge of paper from the All Aboard pack from The English Paper Company and matted and layered it onto blue core'dinations cardstock and white card. (The paper itself had a pale yellow background but for some reason it shows up as pale blue in the photograph.)
The digi image called 'flip flops' is from the Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet. I coloured it using Promakers and cut it out using a Spellbinders floral oval die. Whilst still in the die I dusted the background with distress inks. Once it was removed from the die I coloured the edge using Promarkers. I then attached it to the card along with a bow made from the satin ribbon.
The letters which I glued to the ribbon were cut from red core'dinations cardstock using dies from Tattered Lace's elegant alphabet set.

Bright colours for kids
For our challenge at send A Smile 4 Kids this time we would like you to use bright colours. Again we have three generous sponsers: Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet ($10 gift certificate), The Cutting Cafe' (3 sets of digis or cutting files) and Sassy Studios (4 digis).
My first card uses the BB Kakes image 'garden me' from Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet.
I matted pink spotty paper onto pink mirri and white card. I then attached a narrow floral border to the lower half of the card.
I rounded the corners of the image which I had coloured using Promarkers and matted it onto red mirri card which I had cut out using a Spellbinders label one die. As a final touch I added Stickles to the top corners of the spectacles.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - anything goes
Craft Your Passion - anything goes

My second card made use of Flower treat cupcake PDF files from The Cutting Cafe'. No pieces were given to form the depth of the 'cupcake' but there is a video supplied on the web page and I was able to make suitable pieces. I used scraps of card to make the flower. I filled my 'cupcake' with beads as these would be less sticky than sweets.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Clear It Out - anything goes
Word Art Wednesday - anything goes
Crafthazelnuts Patterned Paper - anything goes

Baking
This week the theme for our challenge at Creative Corner is animal fun.
I began by cutting a base card using a decorative circle die from Tattered Lace and dusting the edges with distress ink.
I used a Stitchy Bear digi called 'baked with love' whose creator is Digi Blessings. Using a graphics program I encircled it with the Happy Birthday sentiment. I then coloured it using Promarkers and very lightly shaded the background using the same coloured distress ink as used for the edge of the card. I then cut it out using the same die as previously and attached it to the base card offsetting the 'waves'.
Finally I added glitter to the spilt sugar.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
ABC - G is for go digital
Allsorts - feature a creature
Digi Sketch - furry friends
Dragons Lair Designs - add an animal
Little Caire Digi Stamp - shaped card

For the boys
It's another Saturday and another challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids. The theme for this challenge is 'for the boys' and there are three very generous sponsors:-
Squigglefly (3 digis), Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet ($10 gift certificate) and Fred She Said ($10 gift certificate).
Squigglefly (3 digis), Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet ($10 gift certificate) and Fred She Said ($10 gift certificate).
For this first card I used the image 'Pirate captain' from Squigglefly. I coloured it using Promarkers and lightly dusted the edges with distress ink before matting it onto black core'dinations cardstock. The backing paper printed from a CD ROM sometime ago and laying around in my box of stash was also matted and layered onto black core'dinations cardstock and white card. After attaching the image to this I glued card candi onto the corners. Finally I fixed the best wishes sentiment cut from core'dinations cardstock using Tattered Lace dies onto the card.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Ribbons - nautical
My Craft Creations - anything goes
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Brown Sugar - anything goes
Through the Purple Haze - anything goes
Word Art Wednesday - anything goes
Party Time Tuesdays - anything goes
My next card was made using the soccer image from Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet.
Again I have coloured the image using Promarkers and distressed the edges with distress ink. The papers used were printed using the Popcorn platinum CD ROM from Crafter's Companion and everything was matted onto green card. I chose black with white spots card candi as the nearest I had to football colours.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Passion For Promarkers - one for the boys
Addicted to Stamps - lots of layers
Inspiration Destination - anything goes
Crafting From the Heart - anything goes
