   I seem to be having a run on dragons at the moment and this card uses a digi stamp from Lee Holland called dragon with butterfly. I have coloured it using Promarkers.

   The Send A Smile 4 Kids October challenge has the themes of holiday or celebration.

   I am very partial to the dragon digi stamps from Lee Holland. This one which I have coloured using Promarkers is called birthday dragon. The frame was cut using a carnation Crafts rectangular eyelet and ring die. I also used another Carnation Crafts die to cut the sentiment.

   I have chosen to use a digi stamp from Lee Holland called 'Dragon with Christmas star. After colouring it using Promarkers and Derwent Coloursoft pencils I matted it onto gold mirri. The background paper was printed from a Tattered Lace download.

Bunny

 

   This month's Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge has the theme of Easter or spring. I have made a card which I think will fit either theme.

   The digi called 'bunny' from Lee Holland was coloured using Promarkers and the printed strip of daffodil design paper was lying around in my box of stash. The sentiment was cut using tattered Lace dies and the final embellishment is made from a piece of ribbon found in my bag of bits and pieces.

Z is for the colour zenith blue

   During the month of November I set myself the challenge of making a Christmas card which used a colour beginning a different letter of the alphabet. I have finally reached the 26th letter and have learnt the names of a lot of colours!!

   The digi from Lee Holland called 'dragon hugging a penguin' was coloured using Promarkers and the sentiment was cut from silver mirri using a Carnations Craft die. The backing paper, matted onto silver mirri, was printed using a Popcorn the Bear CD ROM from Crafter's Companion.

    The digi image from Lee Holland is called 'dragon present' and I coloured it using Promarkers. The backing paper is from Papermania and after matting it onto blue mirri I wrapped a narrow piece of ribbon round one of the corners and then matted it onto purple card. I then added a bow.

Dragon with poinsettia

 

   The theme for this months Dragonfly Dreams challenge is Christmas in July.

   I have used a digi from Lee Holland called Dragon with Christmas Poinsettia and coloured it using Promarkers. The sky was coloured using Derwent Coloursoft pencils and I added Stickles to the snow and snowflakes. This was then matted onto purple card. I wrapped ribbon around mirri card and matted this onto white card.

Dragon with dragonfly

   This image from Lee Holland called Dragon with dragonfly was coloured using Derwent Coloursoft pencils and matted onto green card. The frame was cut using a Tattered Lace die from their South Field Picture Decoupage set.  I also used another die from this set to create the oval shaped card. The sentiment cut using a Tattered Lace die was placed on an oval cut using a Spellbinder die.

Dragon and bluebells

    Today sees the start of a new challenge at Aud Sentiments. The theme is spring and the challenge is being sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps.

    About the middle of spring the bluebells in my garden and local woods start making an appearance so I decided to use this sweet digi from Lee Holland called 'Dragon smelling bluebells' - not at all influenced by my daughter who is mad about dragons and dinosaurs! - and coloured it using Promarkers. I used dies from various companies to cut out the diamond shapes. The surrounding bluebells were cut using Carnation Crafts bluebells die and downloadable vignettes and adding some additional colour to the leaves using Promarkers so that they matched those in my image.

Sleeping dragon

    This card is for my step daughter who is expecting a daughter shortly. The digi from Lee Holland called 'sleeping blossom dragon' was coloured using Chameleon pens and Promarkers. I used a Tattered Lace velvet ruffle oval die to cut the pale pink card and snipped out the central oval to form a frame for the image and used a ball tool to give the ruffles some shape. Finally I added a little bow and some pearls.

Dragon present

    My daughter wanted a glittery dragon card for one of her friends so I came up with this.

   After wrapping glittery eyelash ribbon round mock glitter card I matted and layered it onto iridescent mirri card and white card. The image called 'Dragon present' from Lee Holland was coloured using Chameleon pens  to which I added loose glitter. I matted it onto iridescent mirri and added tiny red gems for the holly berries and slightly larger gems to one of the corners. The sentiment was cut using a Tattered Lace die.
