Decorating for Christmas
Another card done for Christmas 2016! I matted paper from Kaiser Craft onto red card and outlined it with gold peel off strips. I'm gradually using all these peel offs up.
The duck digi image is from Dragons Lair Designs and I printed it twice, reversing one of them. I coloured them using Promarkers, fussy cut them out and then attached them to the card using glue gel. I added some Stickles to the stars on the decorations that the ducks are holding. The sentiment was computer generated and after matting it onto paper from Kaiser Craft I attached it to the card.

Snowman
I hope that you all had a peaceful and happy Christmas. Today there is a new challenge beginning at Eureka Stamps the theme of which is snowman or flake. Here in the south of England we haven't seen either of these this holiday as it has been exceptionally mild.
I have used digi image number 26803 (Snowman oval) and coloured it using Promarkers. I am still trying to use up my scraps of designer papers, so I have used some from the Papermania Contemporary Christmas paper pack to form the background for the oval. I matted the pieces onto silver card and also added some silver peel off strips.

Finally I added a fawn cut using a Tattered Lace die from beige core'dinations cardstock and matted onto yellow cardstock. Dressing the tree
My first card for Christmas 2016! The image I have used here is 'Reach for the star' from Little Darlings Rubber stamps. I think the mice are so cute. I coloured it using Promarkers and after cutting it out (I really must buy some larger circle dies) I inked the edge using distress ink.
Using the snowglobe die from Tattered Lace and white, green and red card I made up the base card onto which I matted my image. I then added gold peel off stars and Happy Christmas sentiment.

An angel sings
I have a stack of paper that I have previously printed from CD ROMs and I think it's about time I used them rather than just look at them. This is one such paper. I matted and layered it onto blue core'dinations cardstock and then white card.
The image is a digi stamp from Lacy Sunshine called Rory - An angel gets her wings. I coloured it using Promarkers, cut it out using a Tattered Lace essential oval die and matted it onto blue core'dinations cardstock. Before attaching it to the card I applied loose glitter to Rory's wings.
To frame the design I cut pale yellow core'dinations cardstock using the Tattered Lace die Angel wings twice. I then cut these in half and matted each onto darker yellow core'dinations cardstock. Before arranging them on the card I sprayed each with iridescent Spray and Sparkle from Crafter's Companion.

I have used their digital stamp called 'Please drink more responsibly'. I coloured it using Promarkers then cut it out using a Tattered Lace oval die and matted it onto black card. I had some papers in my stash from a very old magazine, so I matted both of these onto black card before attaching them to a card blank. I also had some red beading peel off so I used these to mirror the necklace on the image. Finally I added a sentiment cut from black card using a Tattered Lace die.

Winter fun
Send A Smile 4 Kids' last challenge of the year begins today. I hope you will join in. The theme is winter fun and is being sponsored by three very generous sponsors:
Dollar Graphics Depot ($15 gift certificate),
Lacy Sunshine (3 digis)
and
One Happy Cut ($15 gift certificate).
My first card uses the digi It's Snowtime from Dollar Graphics Depot. I matted it onto green core'dinations cardstock and then red card, after which I attached strips of gold peel off along the edges of the card and image. The bow was cut from gold mirri card and is part of a Tattered Lace florentine bells die cut. The letters were cut from red mirri card using the Tattered Lace alphabet circus dies.
My second card uses a digi image from Lacy sunshine called Sammi Bee's hot cocoa. I coloured it using Promarkers and after dusting the background using distress inks added Fluffy Stuff and Stickles to the snow. I then matted it onto silver mirri card.
I sanded the embossed core'dinations cardstock and matted it onto silver card. After attaching the image to the card I randomly added silver peel off snowflakes. The greeting was cut from silver mirri card using a Tattered Lace Christmas sentiment die.

Christmas fairy
I wanted to use paled down versions of the traditional Christmas red and green for this card. I distressed medium green embossed core'dinations cardstock and wrapped pink ribbon round it before matting and layering it onto pink mirri card and white card to form the backdrop for the image.
The image is from lacy Sunshine and is called Sugar Plum Fairy Ethereal Enchantress. I coloured her hair and skin using Promarkers but for a lighter and shimmery effect I chose Twinkling H2Os for her clothes and wings. I cut the image out using a Spellbinders lacy oval die and once it was attached to the card I applied pink and green Liquid Pearls to the rim. Finally I added two bows and pink peel off snowflakes to the card.

Winter birthday
At Crafty Cardmakers and More a new challenge begins today the theme of which is winter birthdays.
I wanted my image to appear through a doorway. I began by cutting an aperture in orange core'dinations cardstock using a Spellbinders arched windows one die. I then embossed the central panel using a Darice brick wall embossing folder. I rubbed over the bricks with distress ink and then used a white pencil to enhance the 'mortar'.
I coloured the Lacy Sunshine image called Emily - winter wonderland using Promarkers and then matted it behind the aperture. I then matted the whole onto white card.
The ivy was created using Tattered Lace's Charisma Ivy CD ROM and die. and was adhered to the card using glue gel. The lettering was cut using a mini Tattered Lace die and then separated before gluing individually around the arch.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Mixed bouquet
The theme for this week's challenge at Eureka Stamps is 'anything goes', so let's see all your wonderful creations over there.
I used odd scrapes to make my card. I had a piece of pink core'dinations cardstock in which I had previously cut out an oval, so I cut this to size, centralizing the oval and attached a piece of magenta core'dinations cardstock behind the aperture. I then matted it onto white card. The digi image is number 9206 (mixed bouquet) and I coloured it using Promarkers after which I matted it onto mauve core'dinations cardstock both cut out using an oval die.
I used silver peel offs to outline the aperture and the edge of the pink cardstock and used waste silver peel off to decorate the corners of the card. I attached a silver peel off sentiment to magenta core'dinations cardstock, matted it onto white card and attached it to the base of the card.

Thank you
The theme for the new Crafty Cardmakers and More challenge starting today is thank you.
I began by matting and layering paper from The English Paper Company's Siesta collection onto red mirri card and white card. I then added a narrow strip from the same collection horizontally to the card. My stamped image is Tatty Twinkles - just for you. After colouring it using Promarkers I matted it onto red mirri card and then attached it an angle to the card. Finally I added a gold peel off to the tag.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - anything goes
Glitter n Sparkle - anything goes
