Macabre Monday Pink on the Brink!

It's challenge 53 for Macabre Monday at Haunted Design House. What's the challenge? Pink on the Brink, sponsored by none other than the FABULOUS Tickled Pink Stamps! Do you dare creep up the quintessential girly girl color? Well here is Tickled Pink Stamps dear Lil Lolita Lilith, pining away for a long lost Love. Does true love ever die? I think not. I think it lives forever in your heart, don't you? This shaped card was done in Cricut Design Studio (they don't call me the Creepy Cricut Cween for nothing) using the skull and crossbones on Life's a Beach. The fabby DP is from the DCWV Madly in Love stack. Lilith is colored with Copics and the headstone is a Cuttlebug cut and emboss duo.

The sentiment is from the Cuttlebug Love Language Card Making combo. It's cut with adhesive Fun Foam for dimension. Trust me, it cuts like butter, woohoo! I did a little messing with the layers (that actually didn't exist) so I could pop them up and don't hate me because I added a bow. It just couldn't be helped. Now go have a look see at the rest of the Minions creations and see what you can do for a chance to WIN a Tickled Pink stamp of your own.

The Burtonesque Dolls "Ed Wood" challenge

I've been dying to play along with the Burtonesque Dolls again but somehow my schedule hasn't allowed it. I even have ideas every week but they're often a bit difficult to execute so they don't get done. Well this week I made it! (with several days to spare, Woohoo!) The challenge is inspired by the movie "Ed Wood" so the creations are to be in black and white.
On top of that, Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring with the opportunity to win 20's Evie here and 30's Lylah. I couldn't wait to use 20's Evie again. She's such a doll! She's colored with a mix of the cool and warm gray Copics to match the DP from DCWV la Crema Stack. The graphic at the bottom is from First Floor Flat Freebies. I just got my new Cuttlebug folder, Grace's Frame and had to use it. I cut out the center with my Nesties Labels Four. The film strip is also from Spellbinder's. The metal "dream" is from M's and the flower is Prima.
The mats are popped and of course I had to add at least a few adhesive beads. This was a fun challenge. I love the idea of Evie dreaming of becoming a star! You've still got time to play at The Burtonesque Dolls to win your very own Lil Lolitas so what are you waiting for?

New July Monthly Challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps and Challenge 100 at Color Throwdown!

I've so enjoyed being one of the July Guest designers for Tickled Pink Stamps. Being able to help introduce the NEW Lil Lolitas (now available to order!) has been a dream come true! Thank you sooo much Kellie! And now for the July Monthly Challenge which involves a sketch by Kellie herself. On top of that, Tickled Pink Stamps is offering a prize at the Color Throwdown 100th challenge so I just HAD to play along! It's a pretty challenging color combo this time, but I was lucky enough to find some Basic Grey Euphoria paper that had the appropriate colors and decided that 60's Mod Ivy was the best fit.

Isn't she just a doll? She's colored with Copics and the sentiment is made up of epoxy stickers by K&Co. The flowers are Prima and the center band is embossed with a Cuttlebug Border Folder.
I tried to do things a little differently by making a gatefold card but still follow the sketch. I'm usually so paranoid about changing anything that my creativity flies the coop. Anyway, certainly check out the Tickled Pink Monthly Challenge because you may use any stamps that Kellie carries in her store (and you need not have purchased them there). And WooHoo! you have a whole MONTH to participate. Also, the celebration at Color Throwdown is a HUGE one with a blog hop and prizes GALORE so check out the details HERE.

Meet 80's Sookie, The Newest Lil Lolita!

It's the final preview day of the new Fashionista Lil Lolitas at Tickled Pink Stamps and you're meeting Sookie for the very first time! She's an 80's girl and she just wants to have FUN!
She's a real star so that's how I portrayed her. I colored her with Copics in the colors of the day and added some wild pink streaks to her hair. All of the stars are cut with my Spellbinders Nested stars dies out of glitter and foil cardstock. The star border is an EK Success punch and the DP is DCWV Nana's Kids. Lots of 80's bling too!

There's just a it of dimension highlighting FAB Sookie and the adhesive stars are from Darice. Now just wait 'til you see the fabulous creations from the Pink Ladies. They're all so TALENTED! So do you wanna win Sookie? Just pop on over to Tickled Pink Stamps and leave a comment on today's post for a chance to win her and if you'd like to win the ENTIRE new release, follow the instructions and you could have them all! Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Lolitas Preview Day 5! and BBTB2 Blog Hop Winner!

Woo Hoo, it's preview day 5 at Tickled Pink Stamps with ADORABLE 50's Lilith! I'm particularly fond of Lilith because my DH and I took a round of ballroom dance classes and the swing was definitely OUR DANCE! So here's Lilith on her 45 record (designed with Cricut design Studio) and cut with glossy black card stock. The musical notes are a Cuttlebug die cut twice, with the bottom of the notes embossed and popped. The sentiment is one of my other fave embellies, Alpha Beads, then a bit of gingham ribbon. The skully on the bow is glitter foam.

I kept Lilith monochromatic. Didn't want to upset the pink white and black color scheme. Her skirt is paper pieced. Sure wish my circle skirt had had a fabby skull instead of a poodle when we won a 50's costume contest. LOL

Here's the dimensional shot. What fun this was! Now hurry to The Tickled Pink Blog to leave a comment to win your own Lilith and check out the fabulous creations by the Pink Ladies. And if you haven't been paying attention, scroll down to see the rest of this fabulous release so far. They will all be available for preorder SOON! and if you've got the inclination, follow the intructions HERE (keep reading) and you may just win the WHOLE set! WooHoo!

Tickle Pink Fashionista Lil Lolitas Preview Day 4!

Ready for a new Lil Lolita? It's preview day 4 at Tickled Pink Stamps. Meet Flower Child 60's Willow. Isn't she BEAUTIFUL? So full of peace and love! I created a mini Woodstock for Willow using a spring card fold. I added a cloud mat cut with my MS punch around the page. I designed the Peace sign in Cricut Design Studio and cut and popped it twice after embossing the top one with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.

Willow is colored with Copics and her jeans are paper pieced using denim paper. The tough part was coloring and fussy cutting the individual flowers at the bottom of her bell bottoms but I think it was totally worth it.
Here is a side view of the Spring card fold. I got the instructions from Splitcoaststampers HERE but added a larger mat at the bottom which I covered with grass printed paper and a scattering of Prima flowers.
Finally the sentiment is a Blue Moon charm. Can you feel the love? Well, at Tickled Pink Stamps we're spreading the love but giving you the chance to win Willow by viewing the gorgeous Pink Ladies' designs and leaving a comment. And if you're feeling REALLY ambitious, leave a comment each day on all of the Designers blogs (including guests Peta's and mine) for a chance to win the whole set! If you've missed any, you can still catch up, because winners will be announced the day after the end of the previews (2 more to go!). Remember, even if you don't win, Tickled Pink Stamps ships WORLDWIDE (stamps only) so you can still have Lil Lolitas of your very own. Preorders coming soon!

Tickled Pink Fashionista Lil Lolitas Preview Day 3!

It's preview day 3 at Tickled Pink and today I have the adorable 30's Lylah. I love her so much, I colored her to look like ME! (Notice the resemblance? I WISH!) Anyway, I sort of dropped the ball on the vintage theme, I'm afraid, but I think Lylah is so stylish she could be of ANY era. I also think she's be perfect for any occasion so I made a thank you card (which is something you can never have too many of, don'tcha think?).

I colored her with Copics to match the sort of vintage double sided DP from Sassafrass. The mat is cut and framed with Nesties Labels Three. The cool border is part of the paper. WooHoo! Flowers are Prima and the sentiment is from a Cuttlebug Cardmaking combo, cut twice, and offset slightly for emphasis.

Both Lylah and the mat are popped and of course I used some of my signature adhesive beads. If you would like to WIN Lylah, be sure to leave a comment on the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog HERE and check out the fabulous creations by the Pink Ladies. If you'd like to win the WHOLE set, follow the leave a comment on each of the DT's blogs (including Peta's and mine) EACh day and you may be the lucky one to win ALL 6 of these fabulous stamps. If you've missed any of my previous posts, please scroll down. The winners won't be announced until after the final preview day so there's still time! Remember, Tickled Pink ships stamps (only) WORLDWIDE so NO ONE is left out! WooHoo! Preorders coming soon!

Lil Lolitas Preview Day 2! 60's Mod Ivy!

Welcome to Lil Lolitas preview day 2. Just look at this MOD chick! Isn't she groovy? This is Ivy, the second of the Fashionista Lil Lolitas coming soon to Tickled Pink Stamps. Love her outfit, I swear I had one just like it back in the day. (And that was EXACTLY my hairdo AND color. Didn't know I was a natural blonde, did you? LOL) I tried to stay true to the period with a color blocked background and grahic black and whites.

Ivy is colored with Copics (don't look too close, I did this LATE at night) and cut with my Nesties. I couldn't help the sentiment. The boots made me do it!

Just a bit of popping and some punched flowers and beads and she was DONE! Now be sure to pop on over to the Tickled Pink Blog to see the amazing creations by the Pink Ladies and leave a comment for a chance to win Ivy. WooHoo!

I'm Tickled Pink to be a Guest Designer at Tickled Pink Stamps

WooHoo! Today is the very first day of the preview release of the NEW Lil Lolitas and I get to be a part of it. Thank you sooo much Kellie for inviting me to participate in this Tickled Pink Stamps Blog world wide event. Each day this week we'll have a BRAND NEW stamp to show you. I KNOW you already love the Lil Lolitas at Tickled Pink Stamps and now they're back for more stamping fun!
First up is 20's Evie. Tell me she's not a DOLL! I inked her up, colored her with Copics and Tea Dye Distress ink. My sentiment is computer generated, inspired by the song "You Oughta Be In Pictures" because doesn't she just look like little starlette fom the silent movie days? (So how many of you remember that one? LOL)

I was inspired to make a side step card and use the Graphic 45 Communique papers which are chock full of the perfect vintage images.
The typewriter key letters are also Graphic 45 and I backed them with larger black dots and added clear epoxy stickers on top. This was sooo much fun to embellish! Be sure to stop by the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to see the fabulous creations done by the Pink Ladies and my Guest Design Team partner Peta. Leave a comment there and you'll be in the running to win your very own Evie. I'm sure you'll be just itching to get your hand on ALL of the Lil Lolitas stamps. So if you'd like to win them all, follow the instructions on the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog and you could be the lucky winner of ALL 6! WooHoo! Tickled Pink Stamps is the ONLY place you can get them, and I'm SOOOO happy that Kellie has decided to ship her stamps internationally. Don't worry though. Even though they come all the way from Australia, the shipping is better than most of the US online stores I've ordered from. New release is coming SOON!

I'm Tickled PINK! and FILLED with MUCHNESS!

I know, AMAZING that I'm posting AGAIN on Monday, but it can't be helped. I FINALLY got some mounting foam to use with the adorable Lil Lolita Ivy from Tickled Pink Stamps that I won over at The Burtonesque Dolls challenge and I wanted to enter into the Tickled Pink Monthly Challenge that ends TOMORROW (but that's Aussie time so I don't want to miss it.) It's a fabulous sketch by owner Kellie that was fun and easy to follow. I also happened to see that the Pink Ladies over at The Tickled Pink Blog has a challenge for a Girly Girl card so I made sure to use girly girl colors and all sorts of girly embellies like flower, ribbons, butterflies and pearls. That leads me to the 3rd challenge for this card, The MUCHNESS challenge at Oh Alice! Certainly Ivy is Alice inspired and as far as muchness? Well, you know me and my adhesive pearls, alpha beads and patterned paper combos. More is never enough I always say. LOL
So, Ivy is colored with Copics and for once I chose the DP first so I could color her to match. She's cut out with my Nesties Mega Ovals Large and matted with Mega Scalloped ovals. Of course it is popped because dimension is also something you can NEVER have too much of. The butterflies are MS and adhered to allow for the wings to fly.
Adhesive pearls on the butterfly bodies as well as the 3rd layer of ribbon. I love the whole idea of "muchness" so much that I had to use it as the sentiment spelled out in my beloved Alpha Beads. What fun I've had with this! Can't wait to color Ivy again and am keeping my fingers crossed that I win some more Lil Lolitas. (If not, my pocketbook will be taking a beating because I just love them all and I hear more are coming soon! Also, as you can see on my sidebar, there's going to be a new Lil Lolita Challenge Blog called Lil Lolita Boutique! I just can't wait! I do have to thank my dear friend Jodie, one of the fabulous Pink Ladies for turning me on to Tickled Pink and the fabulous Lil Lolitas. I'm so happy that they now ship stamps worldwide from Tickled Pink Stamps (except Magnolias) and I was AMAZed how quickly they come (better than most of the US shippers I've been dealing with lately.) Thanks so much Kellie for this glorious stamp! xxD NEWS FLASH! I made the TOP 5! WOOHOO!
