New Challenge at The East Wind-Ribbons

WOW, this year is going fast!  It's already the first of July and we have a new Challenge at The East Wind Challenge Blog.  The DT is using the fabulous July Freebie, Belle of the Ball, that you can receive when you sign up for the newsletter (right side of challenge blog) and our new theme is

 USE RIBBON

I've made this gorgeous gal a bride to also remind you that our current FB Contest is Wedded Bliss.  Join our FB page to enter that challenge which runs through July 17th.  She's colored with Copics and I've added a tulle veil wound with ribbon and a gorgeous rose to her fabulous hair.  The DP is from the DCWV Luxury Stack and I've framed the image and done the sentiment with peel offs. Be sure to visit the Challenge Blog to see the lovely work my DT sisters have done with this gorgeous new image.

I"m entering this in the Craft Your Passion Ribbons Challenge,  Simon Says Wednesday ATG, 613 Avenue Create ATG, the Order of Opus Gluei All Tied Up, Speedy Fox and Friends Use Mesh (I'm thinking tulle is a form of mesh), Hiding in my Craft Room Wedding Themed and the Outlawz Monday Greeting Card ATG.

Outlawz Sunday CAS Challenge Bright November

I love playing on the Outlawz Forum because they have a challenge for every day of the week.  One of my faves is the Sunday CAS Challenge because CAS is REALLY a challenge for a gal who likes to "pile it on".  LOL  I was so excited to be invited to be Guest Designer for November.  The first challenge of the month is Bright November, a color challenge using some or all of the colors GREEN, YELLOW, ORANGE, PINK, and BLUE.  The card can be any theme, but must be CAS and BRIGHT.  I used a favorite Autumn quote and surrounded it by falling leaves from two different sized (ancient) punches.  The large ones were out of solid card stock and inked with Distress, the smaller punched from card stock I'd sprayed with Dylusions Sprays.  The background was also sponged with Distress.  Easy peasy and lots of fun.  If you haven't joined the Outlawz Forum, I encourage you to check it out.  It's a great group of supportive crafters and they have fabulous sponsors, as well.  Hope to see you there.

I'm also entering this in the Hiding in my Craftroom Fall Colors, Ladybug Crafts November Autumn Colors, Simon Says Monday ATG, Simon Says Wednesday ATG, Glitter 'n' Sparkle Use Some Leaves and Seemacrafts Bright and Colorful November.

HDH Zombies and Creeps Week 2

It's our second week for our Zombies and Creeps Challenge at HDH and the minions have more fabulous inspiration using the images by the same name from Simply B Stamps.  This time I've used the fabulous Mr. Gibbs Zombie Pirate.  I've watercolored the image and made the fab "burnt burlap" background mat using dual tipped watercolor markers from Tombo.  Read about the process here in my 100 Days of Tombow post.  The striped banner DP is from Authentique edged with MS spider web and Drippy Goo punches.  The skully medallions were a gift from my buddie Margie.

Here's a closeup of the fab image, drawn by Abigail Larson.  It's fussy cut and adhered to back CS and fussy cut again and popped.  The sentiment was hand written and the brains are from our own Minion Sister Creepy Glo.  Visit her Etsy shop HERE and check out HDH for her special discount code (scroll down a bit, ya gotta work for it.  LOL).  The metal skull and crossbones are Tim Holtz.  Hope you're enjoying the best month of the year as much as we are.  Keep those Zombies and Classic Creeps coming.

I'm also entering this in the PunkYouGirl Halloween challenge, Simon Says Monday Spooky, Hiding in my Craftroom Color it, Craftitude ATG/Spooky, Creative Corner Let's Go Crazy and Left of Center (using the LOC Theme).
