Better today.....Day #106 Super Sketchy Sunday..

Well, the mojo is working it's way back. I had a great sketch from Pam today with Day 106 @ 365 Cards. I needed to do a birthday card for a friend's granny. She loves chickens, so I HAD to use one! This one is cut from my cricut cartridge - Animal Kingdom. I added some rafia and some twine, a few little tiles, a cute ribbon and a computer generated tag. I think it looks pretty country. What do you think? Thanks for stopping by today (and thanks to all my well wishers from yesterday!). OOPS!!! Almost forgot........It's Cosmo Cricket week at 365 Cards so be sure to stop by and join in the fun this week!! You "could" win a fab prize!!

Here is the sketch:

"Monkey Business"

Today is Fun with Fruit at 365 Cards. I chose to use this little monkey with his bananas. (The bananas are quite small, but you can click on the pic to enlarge). The monkey, bananas and sentiment are all cut from Animal Kingdom. The vine is cut from Zooballoo. The papers are My Mind's Eye (seems to be my fav lately - next to BG!). Sorry that the pic isn't very bright. While photographing this card, I knocked over one of my lamps and broke it. It's one of the little lighting lamps that came with my portable photo studio. If anyone knows where to buy a replacement bulb, let me know. :(
Thanks for stopping by!

365 X2

I've got two 365 Cards today. I missed yesterday as I was having Cricut trouble. Turns out it was the cartridge and not my precious Expression. I'm so thankful!! So, yesterday's challenge at 365 was "Keep it to Yourself". We were to convey the birthday message in pictures and no sentiment on the front of the card. So, I used my Celebrations cartridge for the cut, my Fiskars border punch, a little ribbon, some rikrak and a few buttons.

Today's 365 challenge is "Inside Out". We were to keep the outside of the card simple and decorate the inside. It's like opening a present with the surprise on the inside. So, I went back to the Cricut and used the Animal Kingdom cartridge for my little fish and the grass. I ran two of the fish thru the Cuttlebug and added their little eyes. Not sure why I'm using so much orange these days, but I love this color!! (Could it be it's one of the colors of my Auburn Tigers??). The sentiment is also cut from Animal Kingdom. Thanks for stopping by today!

More Valentines........

So, I was off work for a few days and worked on some Valentine's day cards. Thought I would share a few. Most of the items on each card were cut with my Cricut. I used George, Accent Essentials, Graphically Speaking, Animal Kingdom and TBBM. The hearts on the Me&You card were done with the Martha Stewart heart punch. I have several more cards to make and hope to get several done this weekend. TFL!!

So, these are some pages for a book I am working on for a friend. It's for a trip they took to their friend's beach house this summer. I have quite a ways to go, but thought I would share what I have so far. I've used the cricut for several die cuts, using Storybook, Walk In My Garden and Animal Kingdom. I've used the Storybook cartridge for most of the lettering. The red background is there because I took the pics on my dining room table. I've got to get better at taking these pics! Enjoy!
