Shades of fall

Hello! As I mentioned I found some new makeup products so I decided to write a short post about those. 

I wasn't able to resist a new eyeshadow palette from Nyx when I saw it in the store so I happily whisked it into a shopping basket and brought to home. It includes sixteen different shades which go well together with the autumn like as well with my eyes and skin tone. My blue eyes love orange and brownish red. They emphasize the blue color very well and make eyes pop out. After testing the product I can say it's worth every penny. There is enough pigment and shades spread well. Light colors are good for highlight and it's possible to create several different looks by using darker shades. I've noticed that quite many beauty vloggers on youtube have been excited about this too. Now I'm twenty euro poorer much more colorful. ;)

 In addition I found a perfect dark red lipstick that I have been looking for forever. Unfortunately it's not that super lasting and it requires a liner otherwise it spreads over the face like it did to me a few days ago at work. I have favored the liquid lipsticks recently because I find those last much better and are easy to use.

I wasn't able to avoid Nyx cosmetic's shelf today while visiting the downtown. Those tempting colorful products catch my eyes nearly always when I pass by them. I find Nyx is quite good brand when it comes price and quality. I own a lipstick, foundation, concealer and some contour products and they all work fine. Now I ended up buying a lipstick, eye shadow and brow contour pencil. I purchase new make up quite seldom. However sometimes it's nice to try the new lipstick color or eye shadow. 

It was a warm day today. The weather was so pretty so I decided to put on something lighter. I bought that top perhaps three years ago from Hennes and also a bag and socks are from there. Shoes are from Vagabond and they do need wax. 

I hope you have a nice weekend, I keep up reading and I try to find myself in the bed early. It is a workday again tomorrow. 

Kat Von D Beauty

My first thought after hearing about Kat von D's intention to create a cosmetic brand was "oh again some celebrity who wants to get more money and fame is creating an own cosmetic brand" but then I was thinking closer: Kat has always had a cool way to use make up, perhaps she would be able to create something which really works. I decided to read people's reviews about the products and they promised fairly much. In Finland it's not possible to buy these products (which is a huge shame) so I had to travel to Sweden to get a closer view of these. Unfortunately I didn't have much time to spend in the store when my beloved was with me and you now: a man in a cosmetic boutique... I tried to act quickly. In the end I ended up picking these two matte lipsticks which are awesome. Most likely the best lipstick I have ever used. I like the matte lipsticks and these are so easy to spread and no liner is needed. In addition they feel good and stay pretty well. It's such annoying that these aren't available in Finland and cannot be order either. Perhaps it's a enough good reason to travel Sweden then ;)

I wasn't able to avoid Victoria Secret's store in the ship. I have at least ten scents in the locker and I always end up getting them more...  but I've used this every day since I got it ;)

Outfit + Nyx cosmetics

Hello! I took pictures of the day's outfit and decided to share them immediately with you  when there still seems to be energy left after jogging and pole dancing. It seems that I have became addicted to all kind of exercising. Recently I have visited three times a gym per week and in addition I've practiced with a pole at home by fits and starts and now I decided to start jogging... and back to that outfit. It was quite colorful to my taste. Red lips combined with the striped shirt are enough to make it looks vivid. 

I also tested my new makeup which I got yesterday. A lipstick is some random from Ebay and it cost only one euro, but the shade is perfect and the product seems to be quite quality as well. Usually I don't buy cheap cosmetics from Ebay, but this was an exception. I ordered some jewelries and the seller  also sold the  cosmetics so I decided to grab this too. Yesterday I went to buy food and I couldn't avoid these Nyx's products which finally arrived at Finland. Many people seems to use Nyx and the brand is totally unknown to me so I wanted to give it a try. At least concealer worked fine and I hope the spray works too. It's quite weird to sprinkle that onto the face after finishing make-up. What do you think of Nyx?

When we reach the destination?

The vacation runs to its end and tomorrow it's an early morning once again which is perhaps only a good affair. I need to state that I haven't done anything sensible for three days. On Saturday night I visited a goth club and since that I have been floating inside a bubble and been waiting for something. Old demons are dancing somewhere in the shadows and the spring fatigue is trying to win a battle. Too many badly slept nights don't help either when I try to be efficient by days. Handling the time is sometimes too difficult and especially if there is such a many things you would like to do, but you don't know from where to start. 

Today I tried to look like a human. The new dark red lipstick from Grimas is my new infatuation. I should only get a liner for it. Now the wrong shade liner ruins it a bit. New striped tights would also be nice. These starts to be filled with the holes.

The city looked so attractive a few days back that I needed to stop taking a few shots. 

My other half has been too busy so I have spent the quality time with the vampires. I started to watch the first season of True Blood the last night and now there is only a few episodes left... oops. The first two seasons are pure love and the third is fine, but then I lost my interest totally and haven't watched them more. Eric is my favorite character (do I need to tell you why ;>) and the young vampire Jessica ♥ 

Outfit + Gigs + Make up

Hello! I've tried to keep my wallet tightly closed, but with no luck in that field. If I don't buy new clothes then I spend my money on make up or decor products even though I should save for the summer and coming journeys. Recently I placed an order to Punanaamio to get false lashes and some foundation and lipstick. I finally found a perfect dark red lipstick from Grimas which I've hunted for long time. In addition I bought City Color's contour palette from Ebay after hearing many recommendations about it.

Last weekend was hectic. I was working and went to see gigs of Hintit, Nykyaika and Nyrkkitappelu and the next morning I needed to be at work at six in the morning. Not the first time when I go to the work after minimal sleeping, but I survived well which is essential. Gigs were great and worth seeing. Tomorrow I go see Maj Karma and can't wait for that. In addition I also went to ice skating the last Sunday for the first time after years. It was awesome though ankles were about to die at first. The next winter I try to skate more when there is the ice skating field around the corner.

A fragile apathy has wrapped around me during the existing week.  Sometimes it's hard to know where to be or what to do and this feeling has haunted to me off and on this week. I've effectively escaped from reality into the fantasy games as a decent escapist. In addition I've spent too many hours by wandering in my dreams, more than I allow to myself. At times a small inspiration thrombus has hit me, but it's also disappeared as fast as it appeared. I've tried to study the new German words and I got lost to a gym on Wednesday and due to that my muscles have complained of pain. I notice that a week is over before it really started and I've lost a few days from my life for nothing. But that happens every now and then. 

My post box clinked on Monday and lovely crescent arrived finally to satisfy the needs of a materialist. The adorable silvered crescent is all that I want right now. It's big enough and simple. 

I've painted my nails by using the black matte polish which pleases me a lot right now. 

I bought this black skater dress some time ago and it has become one of my favorite dress in a short time. A model is perfect to me and I like that fabric a lot. 

I started reading this again...  I can't help myself, I just love this book. 

I wish you all have a nice weekend. I try to drag my bones to the gym again tomorrow. Let's hope that the muscles won't ache after that. 

Lumous gothic festival

Today I've felt a bit of tiredness for a reason, what a wonderful weekend it was! Lumous gothic festival was arranged during the weekend and I was on the go from Thursday to Sunday.

I had the cool goth nails! A bit impractical for the hair clung to them all the time. 

The weekend encompassed the great music, people, drinks and a lot of pondering how to dress! Unfortunately I only have the outfit pictures of Saturday when I wore the self made lace dress. The best band was Malaise and Autogen arranged the best show definitely even though the music was not exactly my piece of cake. The other bands I checked out: Two Witches, Unzyme, Chaos Research, Leather Strip and Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio.

Between silence and death

I bought a new lip gloss a few days ago and it's excellent. I buy new makeup rarely and more rarely I buy the lip glosses especially if they cost more than 10 euros but this shade was so juicy that I couldn't avoid it. It's from IsaDora and the shade is: Cabaret Red, if some of you is willing to know. The product is long lasting and even though they recommend to use a lip liner with it, I didn't use and it stayed still pretty well. 

Friday's outfit

We visited watching The Hobbit yesterday and what can I say. In a visual way the film was candy for the eyes but the plot doesn't make progress much if thinking about the length of the film. The same problem was with the first part which lasts about three hours, the narrative crawls too slowly. There is different battle scenes which change from one to another but they can't take the plot forward. The dragon was definitely well done. The end was a bit poor, the film ended to the wall and now we need to wait a year for seeing the last part. If I could give the stars I would give three. 

Mourning dress

Last night I made a pillbox hat on a whim. I haven't made hats or any head accessories before so this is very amateurish and not the perfect one. We had a hat course in school but unfortunately I missed it because I was in exchange when it was arranged. It's a pity because I would have liked to take part of it. Anyway I'm pretty happy with the result if regarding that this is the first I have ever made and I made it  without any instructions, experience or tools which the hat makers ordinarily use. The hat is made of black velvet. I like a lot of head accessories and hats. I think finnish people don't wear the headpieces so much if not counting the awful winter skicaps or the caps in summer time. 

We visited rounding the city centre today and I did the new findings in the flea market, but I'll come to those findings later. Then I found the bottle of color mask while visiting Sokos. I have heard about this product before but I was pretty sure it is not sold in Savonlinna but obviously I was wrong. This is meant to redheads to keep the red color longer lasting. I hope this works and maintains my red color!

The best gifts are invisible

It's a time to introduce the gifts which I got this year. 

I bought myself over a week ago while visiting Helsinki MAC's lipstick (and liner) which is definitely awesome. (The color is matte Russian red). Usually I favor only the cheap market products but I have wanted MAC makeup since they came Finland for sale so I decided to give this one for me as a Christmas present. This second color (Longwear Endless drama) I got from my mom. Deep purple really beautiful shade ( Check out the picture below).

More cosmetics! I love Bodyshop's Vanilla series so it's always a safe choice. I have used their Vanilla  perfume for years. It's absolutely my favourite scent.

Playstation 3. Don't know why this appeared from the paper because I only play the computer games nowadays and actually I try to be without playing anything 'cause they are too addictive and only steal my life. My dad already promised to buy this from me if I don't need it. But if you have some good game suggestions please don't hesitate propose!!!

In addition I got a hardboard, tripod, towels, socks, chocolate and a bottle of red wine. Material overdose. Should I keep a purchase strike in January? (I think it's impossible the sales are already waiting...  )
