Hellsinki

After a long period I jumped on a bus for going to Helsinki and I had indeed a nice weekend there with some stuffed animals and drinks.. 

My prolonged dream came true when I finally had a chance to visit  Natural history museum. Some years have passed since my last visit which was nearly twenty years ago. I love this place and I recommend it everyone who are interested in animals and bones. Unfortunately my schedule was fairly tight so I ran all departments through quite quickly, but I would have liked to spend more time there. I definitely want to pay another visit there some day again and actually I would like to visit some other museums as well. I captured a few shots because photographing is allowed there! 

I had loads of plans what to do in Helsinki, but I managed to do only a small part of them ;) Time flew so damn quickly that for instance I didn't reach to go Destiny Store which was on my invisible list. (Perhaps that's only good for my purse)

Every time I visit Helsinki I got a terrible fever to move there. It's awful. That same thing happened as a kid and still. I have lived Helsinki a few times while working there so the city is known to me and I actually planned on moving there after school, but then I bumped into my beloved and the plan changed a direction, but I'm happy with the current city too. I have just forever restless temper and I always want to be somewhere elsewhere and everywhere. 

I should start visiting more often Helsinki. The bus tickets were under ten euro together so it's nothing. 

It's Friday again tomorrow and we have a plan to go comedy theater and my beloved mentioned that there would be some interesting gig as well so perhaps I pay a visit there too. I wish you a good weekend and let's see if I have an inspiration to blog over it.

Helsinki

Finally I have a moment to open blogger and update shortly. These days are busy and I've been so tired of an evening that it's mission impossible to do anything else but sleeping. Shifts at work have been hellish and the weather burning which makes me tired as well. 

About a week ago I disappeared into the streets of Helsinki to meet up my old friend who paid a visit to Finland. How much I enjoy Helsinki and how seldom I visit there these days? There would be so much to do during the summer, but now I only had a day off. I would like to go zoo and visit museums and hang out the parks and Suomenlinna (fortress), can't even remember the last time I visit there. This time we decided to go Vallisaari by boat (it's an isle in front of Helsinki) and that was a calm place actually the perfect place for picnic.  I promise to myself I start to visit Helsinki more often... soon when I only have spare time...  

I bought a gym membership the last week. I have visited the gym all the time, but now I wanted to try the new place which is situated closer (well it wasn't a long journey to the old place neither) and I'm so excited. If the blog is dead silence you will know where I'm ;D

Today I'm going to go a bar when there is arranged some kind of goth/post-punk evening. Hope you all are well and see you!

Helsinki INK

I attended Helsinki Ink International Tattoo Convention on the weekend. Tattoo fever inhabits my soul continually so I wanted to go and pick up some inspiration for my coming projects. Swedish artist Ellen Westholm's style locked up my mind, but surely there were many good artists among her. I have a bunch of ideas in my mind and they have been there already for a while. I want always ponder these everlasting projects profoundly. But perhaps it would be a high time and get some ink more!

We also visited Steam Helsinki bar and I drank a lovely green "health" drink which was tasty, but bloody expensive. It included gin, sugar, soda, basil and lemon. I rarely order any tipples, but at this time I decided to break my habits. 

Weekend was good, but over too quickly. Fortunately Easter comes and it knows some days off. 

London After Midnight

I spent a whole weekend in Helsinki for a reason that I wanted to see one specific band and I also met my friend at the same. On Saturday I was wandering in the city, but the weather was so burning that the visit left short. However I found this dress in the picture below and it's lovely! I love asymmetrical garments so this one is welcome to my wardrobe. I decided to put in on immediately so this was my outfit on Saturday when I headed to Tavastia. 

London After Midnight was awesome. This was my first time when I saw them and I regret that I didn't go to their gig the last time when they were in Finland. I hope they come here again in the future. The pictures were taken by my phone so the quality is what it is :)
