Female Birthdays @ TPC

Hello again, I'm getting used to this 2 days on a row thing now lol though I have cheated a bit here as the card I'm about to show you was made before Christmas and not blogged and it was perfect for the new challenge this week at

TOTALLY PAPERCRAFTS

the lovely Cathy KraftyKoolKat chose the theme

Female Birthday

I'm using this time to try and get ahead with my DT work, I must admit it was nice having one already done!!
I made this for my blogging buddy (Kerry obviously) for her 50th (obvious again!) not sure why it didn't get blogged at the time. I love this Kenny K image and the papers are Maja Designs, can't remember which pad sorry. My usual over the top floral display and a super doo hickey swirl die cut.

Good morning to my lovely blogging friends, I hope you were all safe from the storms that hit the UK the last few days, my it was windy here but nothing bad to report, I think we were lucky and missed the worst of it!
A couple of people have asked me about my new blog design, I made it myself with elements from Raspberry Roads 'Seaside Romance' and I'm a bit chuffed how it turned out!!

It's time for a new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and this week we would like you to

'Use Orange'

Nice and simple and gives us all lots of scope.
I'm not a big Halloween fan so I went for a simple everyday style boy card

This is 'Goldfish Kid' and I coloured him with Copics and matched up to some Halloween paper I had left from last year. Not sure what it is, sorry. Kept him nice and simple, not sure you could call it CAS because the stripes, what do you think?

Head over to the main challenge blog where you can find all the details and lots of inspiration and what prize you can win from this weeks sponsor

Glitter and Sparkle @ Diva's

A very happy good morning to you all, this post is here I hope, as I'm not! I'm on my way to Euro Disney and a couple of days in the Disneyland Hotel before I go from there to Germany on Friday evening for a visit to the Christmas Markets. I have to get myself from Paris to Eisenach by train lol....  I'll let you know if I succeed!

Today is a brand new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and this week we want to see a bit of

Glitter and Sparkle

Well my card is for a man! lol and it fits the challenge!!
My Nephew was 18 the other week and he is a drummer in a band so I couldn't use anything other than this fab image 'Tommy Leen' from the Rock Squad at Kenny K who are this weeks sponsors.

It might not show up too much in this picture but the 18 and the name have been glittered in Martha Stewart black glitter and in real life they sparkle lovely!! The papers are from the Basic Grey 'Little Black Dress' 6x6 pad and the diamante music note charm twinkles like a star!
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this challenge and some sparkalicious inspiration from the Diva's.
I'm not sure how I'll get on this week with my comments, I'm taking my iPad just encase I can find some wifi.

Hello hello hello! I'm back again with post number 3 this week and this time its a brand new challenge at
Shell is our hostess today and she wants to see some

VAVAVOOM!

Sexy Ladies lol This should be a lot of fun!
Kenny K 2 days in a row from me - I love it!
For my card I have used Delores D'ammage (available HERE) from the Fabuloso

Kenny K

Who just happen to be this weeks sponsor and are we all super excited at the MAWTT towers or what!

Kenny and Elena very kindly gave the DT some fab images to play with and trust me you really need to check out the challenge blog for some super special inspiration!

I've used Basic Grey paper and WOC flowers, coloured my image with my beloved copics, I was trying to get black hair but was a bit scared of using black! lol so I shaded it a bit with prismacolour pencils. I've got a lot to learn lol! This image transformed completely when I gave her red lipstick, it really upped the vamp stakes! The Go Kreate die was cut on my Cuttlebug.

All the details of this weeks challenge and details of the prize can be found on the MAWTT blog. I hope you all get a chance to join in the fun this week and where ever you are, whatever you're doing have a super bank holiday weekend.

Just For Fun

Hello everyone, happy Sunday to you all. This is a rare post for me as I found a little extra time to play this week with some images that I've wanted to for ages, that's right not a DT in sight this is just for fun!

I love Kenny K's and I've had this for so long if I didn't get it coloured and posted soon it would have to wait till next Christmas! Meet the lovely 'Mistletoe'
I had this fabulous paper pad from Echo Park, Christmas Spots and Stripes, every sheet is gorgeous and I've been desperate to use it and I thought this image was perfect for the traditional red and green colour combo. I've used some fluffy stuff for the fur trim again, love this technique its ideal for Christmas.

I hope you all have a nice relaxing Sunday, I've got friends coming for lunch so I best go peel some potatoes!!

I Wanna Be Kenny's Girl

Hello my lovely blogging friends, I'm scheduling this post and we have a gorgeous red sky here tonight so I hope that means a beautiful sunny day for us all on Tuesday!
I've managed to get myself a little organised and this is the 2nd card I've posted this week that isn't made for a DT!
I probably should be getting ahead with my DT work as I just may get busy at work in August but it's lovely to have a play and make things for fun!
I wanted to make this card to join in the terrific blog hop over at Kenny K they have some fantastic prizes up for grabs and I love Kenny's girls, I just don't get enough time to use them. This is only my 2nd attempt at Kenny K images and my first won me a prize at Bling It On!!
This little girl looks a bit like she's been to Glastonbury for a week and has a dirty face as I was too impatient to wait for the printer ink to dry and she's smudged a bit!! lol
Mary J introduced me to this luscious MME paper pad and I had to send to the USA to buy it as it was sold out everywhere. All That Scraps had it in stock and it arrived in no time. The flowers and ribbon are from WOC and I attempted to use a rub on sentiment again after my disaster last week and luckily this one worked!

Thank you for stopping by and looking and for any comments

Birthday Bling

Hello blogland thank you for stopping by my liitle corner of the the craft world today. As it's bank holiday weekend I hope you are all doing something fantastic!! I'm at work so not too exciting for me lol
Today I want to share with you a card I made for Lisa for her birthday, she should have it by now so I won't be spoiling her surprise.
This is my first card with the super Kenny K images, they will soon be a favourite of mine as they are great to work with. Once again I can't believe I haven't used them sooner.
The beautiful paper is just as good to touch as it is to look at, it's all furry and gorgeous and from Anna Griffin. The image is called Bling Baby and I'm not sure that it shows up too well in the picture but all her jewellery and belt is glittered with black and gold MS glitter and I think in real life looks fab! The little 'hugs heart' is Making Memories and the chip board letters are Heidi Grace.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Bling It On - A Digi Stamp & Bling
ABC - S is for Sparkle
Sir Stampalot - Ladies & Fashion
Kenny K Challenge  - Anything Goes

Have a lovely long weekend everyone
