Sea You Card
Honestly, I am swamped.
Busy.
Between Family and Exercising...
and Church...and
recuperating from exercise...
I have very little time to craft.
But today, I had some time to make a card..."just because"
that followed two Splitcoast challenges:
CAS and Color Combos.
I think I now need 2 more...b/c at the rate I am going, instead of visiting, I'll be sending cards to my visiting teaching sisters! glub, glub!

I used the layout and shamrock theme on the easle card for the Part Time Tuesday's challenge this week!
Here is my PI Pie from last Monday. It looks amazing, doesn't it! (Unfortunately, the lemon didn't set up quite right. haha. I'll just have to try it again!)

Celebrate Those Resolutions!
I make chocolate chip cookies all the time. Probably every 5 or 6 days. B/c they are really only good “right out of the oven,” right? So, starting in December, I resolved that for the next year, I would not make any chocolate chip cookies. I can make another other cookie recipe, except for my regular (and favorite) chocolate chip recipe. Another resolution that I started last year (but need 2011 to make it come to fruition) is to do more sewing.
Today’s F4A45 challenge is to make a card that celebrates your resolution for 2011. It can be anything EXCEPT stamping/scrapping. If you haven’t come up with a goal for next year, now is the perfect time to think up something fun, silly, serious, or adventurous! I’d love to see what you have planned for 2011!
Here are two cards I submitted on SCS as my examples:

DD loves the extra layer of eggs on dimensionals from this Paper Makeup set! A week or so ago, I nearly gave in to my urge for chocolate chip cookies. I refrained...and was rewarded with a cookbook from J.VanPelt...who reads my blog. What a surprise it was to get a package in the mail. Tonight, I made oatmeal cookies (with chocolate chips) from a Mrs. Field's recipe. I haven't decided on a new one to try from the cookbook. But I'll let you know, Jen!
BTW, this uses a new set from Mark's Finest Papers...an extra sneaky peeky!! All papers used on this card also come from MFP. The copper CS and Parchment are perfect for the antique style images!

Snail Mail
This CAS layout was so CAStastic that I had to design another card while the kids were working on Math Workbooks. Yes, I'm getting them to start thinking about school!

Crabby
I was crabby for a while today...made this card for the MFP blog hop which will be this week...

Thank you MFP Team Members!
Seriously...where on earth did this post go?? haha (Scroll down for the Paper Makeup Blog Hop. It's the next post.)
I stamped an underwater scene onto watercolor paper. So the water looks very realistic!
You can never have enough thank you cards! In fact, I already send this one out yesterday! Let's see how you show your gratitude. Link up on the Mark's Finest Papers Blog!

Double up
Here is a card perfect for the day... or week.
I'm swamped, busy, too scheduled with not enough time to get everything in! haha. So....
This bird stamp by Starving Artistamps is large. Large enough to cover a card front! So I folded a piece of watercolor paper in half, embossed them image....colored it in...presto magic. A one layer CAS card with all the interest of layers!

Three Flowers
Today's Paper Makeup Challenge is to use three flowers. I went with the "three flower stamps" option. haha.
The new PMS silhouette flowers are stamped on some Basic Grey red paper. Sticker holographic bling dot the lattice border. Very pretty. The other half of the sentiment was stamped on the inside! But I forgot to take a pix of it just yet. CLICK HERE to see the new May releases from Paper Makeup!

ERPOM
EmKay has asked us to make 2 cards based on a sketch she posted to her blog. But the cards are supposed to be different. So, I took my funtastic Starving Artistamps...Doodle Factory line...and make one card funkalicious...the other is soft and pretty.

Style
Today's TLC was to ramp up (or down) your style. I"m not even sure what my style is any more! So let's call thsi a ramp down! Orange was for the birthday girl's, Miss Boo, favorite color. Rain was for another challenge. And the layout was a loose representation of a FTL sketch.

Bordering on luck?
Here's hoping I"m lucky this weekend! And that we don't have too much dreary and rainy weather for tomorrow's soccer games. (The dark cs is hunter green...although it looks far darker here.)

just might bring in some rainbows too!
So let's see what fabulous color bands you can put together on your card. Remember...you must use all colors: Roy G. Biv!

I used the birdies from Nature's Song by Paper Makeup Stamps for this flock of color.
Who wants to see a double rainbow??? Here is one done up with Paper Temptress' Heavenly White CS. A perfect base which shows off any vibrant colored embellies you add to your card!
