Hi all!
Happy Easter to you all! Hope you have a good time with your family and loved ones!
Today is not only Easter, but also Sunday, which means a new challenge at Robyn's Fetish! This weeks theme is FAIRIES.
We also have a great sponsor for this challenge, we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles! They are offering 4 digi's of the winners choice, how cool is that! Just click on the banner to go to their shop!
Delicious Doodles also generously sponsored digi's for the DT, and this is what I created.
I used a fun fold I saw on Splitcoast Stampers, and I really like how it turned out. For the life of me, I can't remember how it is called, but I do love it!
This is how it looks when it is folded open. The card measures 4 inches when it is closed, I used a strip from 4"x12".
The image I used is by Delicious Doodles and can be found here. This gorgeous fairy is colored with my Copic Markers. I used the following to color her.
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: V22, V17, V28
Wings: YR61, YR68
I used a Nestabilities Labels One die to cut her out.
The sentiment I used is by NoorDesign, and I used a butterfly stamp for the background, with Memento Lulu Lavender Ink.
The papers I used are by Basic Grey, Plumeria Collection.
That was it for now, pop over to the Robyn's Fetish Blog and join us for a chance to win this awesome prize!
Hugs,
Sandra

Red Carpet Studio - Anything easter
Hi all!!
Welcome to a new challenge at Red Carpet Studio! Since this month is one with 5 weeks, we have an Anything goes this week. It can be a lay-out, a card over a box, or whatever you come up with! But we are still a movie-inspired challenge, so for this challenge we are inspired by the movie "Easter Parade" We want to see some Easter Projects!!
For this challenge we are generously sponsored by Verve Stamps, they are offering a $30 gift voucher for their shop!
Just click on the banner to take a look in their shop! You will feel like a kid in a candy store!
Verve stamps also generously sponsored a clearstamp-set called Hoppy Easter to the whole Design Team, and it was happy mail I can tell ya!
This is what I created.
At first sight it looks like a regular square card, but I used a little tutorial I saw at Splitcoast Stampers! I made a diamond fold card.
It was the first time I tried this technique, but I like it, and I will use it more often!
The papers I used are by BoBunny, and they are leftover pieces from when I used to scrapbook.
The frame with my main image is cut out of kraft cardstock with Nestabilities dies. As I said, the stamps are all by Verve Stamps, and I colored this bunny with my Copic Markers.
I used the following: E31, E33, E35, E37,B02, G02
That was it for today, please join us with your easter creations at Red Carpet Studio!
Hugs, Sandra

Have a special birthday
Hi all!!
Time flies, it is already time for a new challenge at Digi Haven! This fortnights challenge theme is SPRING, and to be honest it is about time to become spring! I live in the Netherlands and we had snow AGAIN this afternoon! The weather channel says this Easter will be colder than last Christmas... I think I will go to bed, will you wake me up if spring arrives?
Anyway, like I said, we want to see SPRING themed projects, and we have a lovely sponsor for this challenge!
We are sponsored by My Grafico, and they are offering one digital stamp set for the winner! Who doesn't want that?
Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!
MyGrafico also generously offered the Happy Bugs set to the DT, and I made this!
I made a really colorful caterpillar, and I also used the grass leafs.
I used coloring pencils to color my image, in just random colors.
The cardbase is made with Stampin Up Whisper White cardstock, and the DP is by Prima Marketing, Melody collection. I used my Nestabilities dies to cut several circles. I also used a piece of ribbon from my stash.
The sentiment I used is by Whimsy Stamps, and I used Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler ink on Crumbcake cardstock.
That was it for today, now why don't you hop over to Digi Haven and join us!
Hugs, Sandra

Warm Wishes - Flower Love Delice DT Call
Hi all!
Flower Love Delice is a French shop, they sell flowers, and I love flowers! Oh, and they are having a DT-Call! I can do maths, can you? I would love to join!
I made a little card to go with the application, trying a new technique!
I cut a paper towel in half and then in half again, and folded it mountain valley. Used a piece of thread in the middle and inked both ends with my Copic Marker RV42. Then I gently pulled the layers and did a little paper rose in the middle, and there you go! Your own flower!
The card itself is a 4inch square card, and the paper is by My Minds Eye. The sentiment I uised is by Noor!Design, cut in a banner.
That is it for today, I hope you like my little card!
Hugs, Sandra

Have a special birthday!
Hi all!
I have been crafting over and over for the last few days! Had some deadlines to finish, and a lot of creative juices flowing, so I created an extra card, that I can show you all right now!
I recently printed a lot of digi images and there was a little space open, so Amy fitted perfectly to make a full sheet! So why not create a card with her, she is so gorgeous! Amy is colored with my Copic Markers, here is a close-up!
Amy is a gorgeous stamp by Sylvia Zet, you can find her here as a rubberstamp. She used to be available as a digi, but she isn't anymore. I used the following Copic Markers to color her.
Skin: E50, E51, E53 and R20 for blush
Hair: E23, E25, E27, E29
Clothes: W00, W0, W2, W5, RV02, RV04, RV06, YG91, YG93, YG95
Flowerpot: E23, E25, E27
Flowers: W00, W0, W2, W5, RV02, RV04
Balloon: RV02, RV04, RV06, white gel pen
The sentiment I used is also by Whimsy stamps, I bought it at a CraftFair called KreaDoe last November. I inked up the stamp with Stampin' Up Whisper White ink and embossed it with Ranger Seafoam White detail embossingpowder.
The papers I used are by BoBunny, Little Miss Collection, and the pink ribbon is from my stash.
All edges of the papers are inked with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy.
The flowers I used are by Wild Orchid Crafts, I just love their flowers!
That was it for now, I hope you all like it!
I would love to enter the Guest Designer Call

Red Carpet Studio Challenge - Use Flowers
Hi all!
This week we have another Card Challenge at Red Carpet Studio Challenge, and this week we are inspired by the movie "THE SECRET GARDEN"! We want to see flowers on your card.We dont mind whether your card is flower-shaped, of contains a image with flowers, just use your imagination!
For this challenge we are sponsored by Saturated Canary.
Krista is offering 2 digi images to the winner of this challenge, who doesn´t want that? Just click on the banner below to go to her shop, you will love it there!
As many of you know I ADORE Saturated Canary, and I ADORE using flowers on my card, so this wasn't a real challenge for me.
Krista from Saturated Canary generously sponsored one image to every DT-member, and I chose one that was a real challenge for me!! Here is my finished project.
I truly love how this turned out, I am very proud of my coloring and the flower piece.
Here is a close-up of my colored image.
I actually had a hard time coloring! While I was coloring I lost track of the shades, didn't know which fold was up or down, but after a bit of struggling I managed to color the folds correctly (at least, that is what i think, LOL) This Butterfly Princess is colored with my Copic Markers and I used the following.
Skin: E00, E11, E13 and R20 for blush.
Lips: R22
Hair: E53, E55, E57, E59
Dress: R20, R22, R24, R27, R29
Butterflies: BG10, BG11
Shades: W00, W0, W1
Here is the flowerpiece I created, I love the colors, they match the patterned paper almost perfectly! All flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.
The papers I used are by My Minds Eye, and all edges are inked with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy.
The ribbon I used was actually white, but I inked it with the same Distress Ink to make it match.
This might me a surprise right? You all thought it was standard square card, but I made a bookcard! I love making them for little gifts, and since this is a gift for one of my dear friends this worked really well!
These are the pic's from the inside, used the same patterned papers and Distress Ink to match everything. The place to write the message on is made with a Nestabilities die, and Distressed it while the paper was still in the die.
That was it for now, I hope you all like it!
So now, hurry and get in your crafty mood, and create a card with flowers!!!
This project is entering the following challenges:
Saturated Canary - Read all about it
Little Claire Designs - More than one fold
Brown Sugar - Anything goes
Clearly I stamp - Anything goes
Shelly's Images - Anything goes
Addicted to Stamps and More- Make your Mark (Copics)
Hugs, Sandra
