Hello!
Guess what! I made it through my first semester back at school!! I am finishing up my final essays and tests this week but the classes are done and I'm feeling pretty good about it! Yay!! I am so excited to have a month off and have already started some new projects. I even pulled out my stamps to play just for fun! It has been since August since that happened- not that design team work isn't fun lol! I am so thankful to have that to force me to get crafty every so often. :)
Today I thought I'd share a card I made using a new stamp set I picked up from Stampin' Up! this season:
This set is called Reason for the Season. It has this pretty 3-step flower and some great sentiments. I paired it with my favorite new tag die by Neat and Tangled and some paper from My Mind's Eye. I embellished with a few sequins, some washi tape, a bit of twine and gold thread. A little bit of sparkle made this one really pretty!
I am so happy to have a few more minutes to my day now! I will try to share like crazy while I can lol! :) Hope you are all doing well! Thanks for popping to to look today!

A Watercolored Wagon for This Month's Inky Paws Challenge!
Good morning! I had a chance to play along with the latest Inky Paws Challenge hosted by Newton's Nook Designs! This month it is a sketch challenge- here is what I made:
I am in the mood for fall! In fact, I had my first pumpkin spice latte' this morning! Hee!! I chose the adorable Wagon of Wishes set to use to create this fall feeling card, stamping the wagon and flowers on to watercolor paper with Staz On ink. I watercolored the image and added some splatters of blue ink to the white space. I added my sentiment from the new Simply Sentimental set to finish off the panel.
I kept my card pretty simple, embossing my kraft card base with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder by Stampin' Up!. I also added a bit of linen thread, a chipboard button and a tiny bit of patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Market Street 6x6 pad.
This sketch was so easy and fun to work with! I hope you pop over to the Newton's Nook Designs blog to play along and to see what the other designers created!
Have a great day and enjoy your last long weekend of summer!

Newton's Nook Designs
Hello! I have fun news to share today- Newton's Nook Designs is announcing their new design team and I'm staying on for another term! I'm so excited to create with this season's releases and get to know all these great girls:
I am such a fan of Newton's Nook Designs fun stamps- I couldn't be happier! :) I made a card to share with one of my NND stamp sets, Wild Child:
I'm in love with this set's baby animals with their mamas! It just makes me smile! I stamped them onto two different shades of brown cardstock and added some shading with my Copic markers. I fussy cut the baby out of the lighter color and pieced him in over the darker mama bear. Then I cut out around both of them leaving just a bit of an edge.
I paired these cute little bears with papers from My Mind's Eye Now and Then Izzy 6x6 pad and my favorite tag die by Reverse Confetti.
Thanks for popping by here today! Don't forget to visit the Newton's Nook Designs blog to learn a little more about the fabulous team this term! I can't wait to see what they have in store for us!

Family Forever Layout
Happy Friday! It's been a great day here- finished up my Christmas shopping and got everything wrapped and under the tree! The girls got home from school all sugared up and ready for vacation. Luckily, we are having a warm streak- it was almost 70 out today! I sent them outside to play! :)
Before we settle in for Christmas break, I thought I'd pop on and share my latest layout for Inspired Blueprints. Number 115 went live today! Here is my take on the sketch:
This was a great sketch! I was able to use three 4x6 photos. I stuck to the sketch, adding a few more tags and embellishments. I ended up not journaling much- these were just silly selfies from our last hike before winter. We do this all the time but it was fun to scrap these cause they were pretty funny!

The papers and embellishment stickers are from the Head Over Heels collection by Echo Park. I also used a few stickers from My Mind's Eye's Cupids Arrow collection. The colors in both lines are pretty close so they worked well together!
The Inspired Blueprint design team did a great job with this sketch! Pop over to the IB blog to see what they did and to see the original sketch.
Well, hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Rain or Shine Layout
Hello!
Today I want to share a layout I created for my Disney World book! This one is about our day at Hollywood Studios. We had a great time there but it rained off and on! Here is my page:
I picked out some My Minds Eye and We R Memory Keepers papers for this one. The embellishments are by Studio Calico and Little Yellow Bicycle. There are some label stickers by Crate Paper as well.
The color of these Thickers is perfect! They are kind of a mushroom color and go with so many lines!
The canvas clouds were spritzed with mists before I adhered them to the page. These cute rhinestone drops were perfect with these clouds!
This picture of my stepmom and sister cracks me up! As soon as they bought these ponchos, it stopped raining! Better safe then sorry but too funny anyways! Hee! Can you see the kids underneath them, too?
Well, thanks for peeking at my page today!

Busch Gardens Layout
How is it Wednesday already?? This week is just flying by! It's been a really good one though- just busy enough not to be boring and I got some really good news, too! I can't share yet but it's pretty exciting!
I thought I'd share another scrapbook page I did for my Big Picture Classes 28 Days of Sketches Round 2 class. I have been enjoying the sketches! Here is my take on Sketch 9:
We went to Busch Gardens over spring break- it was opening day and we had such a great time! The kids loved it and so did the adults! :)
I used some Color Magic paper for the background and added some aqua ink to the center. It's a little hard to see in the photo but it looks great in real life! The patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye and the letter stickers are from Pebbles, Inc. The embellishments are a mix of things- Jenni Bowlin, Teresa Collins, Lawn Fawn, and October Afternoon.
Here is a better shot of the layers and title- I had a lot of fun with the patterns!
I am really enjoying this sketch class! I tend to scrap 4x6 or larger photos so the sketches have been a change from the norm for me- I love it! It is different but so fun!
Hope you are enjoying your week and thanks for taking a peek at my work today!

A Little Sketch Fun
Hello!
How are you doing today? We are having a great day here- the sun is shining and it's nice and warm out- a big change from the last few days... It has been pretty chilly here this week! And, with all the cold weather, we stayed inside mostly so I had time to play along with the Saturday Sketch challenge at Two Peas in a Bucket! Here is what I made:
Goodies:
Stamps: Miss Caroline stamps- My Mind's Eye
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Basic Black- Stampin' Up!
Paper: Whisper White cardstock- Stampin' Up!; Red and Aqua cardstock- Bazzill Basics; patterned prints- Basic Gray, Pebbles, October Afternoon, Bazzill Basics
Accessories: Scallop Edge punch- Stampin' Up!; black thread- DMC; white pen- Uniball Signo, paper piercer- Stampin' Up!
I was able to use the scraps I had left over from my class at the Scrapdoodles Retreat a few weeks ago to create all my little banners on this card. I also got to break out a new stamp set I've had since then- I love the sentiment! There is another butterfly in the set that has a woodgrain pattern on it, too! I can't wait to use it again!
Alright! I'm going to keep this short today so I can get out and enjoy that sunshine! Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by to peek at my card!

Haunted Houses
Hello!
I finished up a fun project over the weekend that I am so excited to share! They turned out really cute:
Fun, right? I don't usually do too much Halloween decorating but I've been wanting to make these houses since summer time. They were inspired by a set of houses the Stampin' Up! convention attendees had a chance to make and I saw them online. I loved them and knew I had to make a Halloween set and hopefully a Christmas set, too! Here are some more detailed pictures:
I used a mix of My Minds Eye's Mischievous line and Echo Park's Apothecary line for the most part with some other bits and bobs thrown it, too. I stained the wood with Ranger's Distress Stains- don't they look cool? I love it!
These were really fun to work on and I decided to teach a class on it down at Scrapdoodles on October 8th. If you are interested in the details, please check out their blog for more information.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my houses today!
