Sinat Hinam - st

I came across to this band on Giora's FTP blog a few weeks ago. It's a great blog full of israeli hc punk, crust, grind, powerviolence, thrash, punk rock stuff, you can find almost any band from israel in there. Now done with the advertisement.

שנאת חינם (Sinat Hinam / Hatred) is a metal influenced crust band from Israel. Formed around '05 and split up around '08, if i'm not mistaken. This cd is released in '07, includes 7 songs and is around 25 minutes. All the songs are in hebrew, which is a huge plus for the band in my opinion. Bands who sing in their native language have always been more interesting. Their music is far from punk but mostly crust metal, especially the guitars and the vocals are heavily black metal influenced, like some other stenchcore bands, but the music is not as "swampy" as stenchcore. Some of the influences of the band are; "Axegrinder, Amebix, Wretched, Nerorgasmo, Dir Yassin, Napalm Death, D.S.-13, Motörhead, Hellshock, etc". The band members describe their music as "a neandertalic caveman crushing the angel of death's head on the ruins of the jewish temple in jerusalem".

Banzai Warmaster - Demo

Here is another band from Oulu / Finland. Banzai Warmaster plays crust, but they are also influenced heavily by some metal bands like; Venom, Sabbat, Abigail, Hellhammer, Holy Moses, etc. This demo is released in '09, and it's the bands' first release. So grab it if you play some baphomet pictured records in your room.

First of all this is not something i ripped, i found it on soulseek. And i couldn't find much info about the band so please share what you know. "This LP was never officially released, there exist only a couple of copies" says the discogs.com. They released an EP and this unreleased LP. I'll post the EP in the coming days, or weeks. the recorded 2 comp trax in their short existence. one for the 1985 boston hardcore compilation titled Welcome To Ax/ction Island EP and another track for the Revenge Of The Kamikaze LP in 1988.
as for unreleased material there's only the sic world lp and an alternate version of "sic world".
a demo might exist but eric never confirmed this.
their ep was in a limited pressing of 1000 which didnt circulate very much.
there was no touring or promotion of the band. they just played a bunch shows in the local area with other bands like psycho and ptl klub.
lyrics are mostly about death, misery, pain, hate, anger.... couldn't be a more closer definition.

Against Empire & Iskra Split

This really powerful and thrash & black metal influenced split cd is a must for all the heavy politic crustcore lovers. A//E has 5 songs with duel vocals and thrashy crust punk riffs. On the other side Iskra offers 4 songs with great lyrics and black metallish crust stench. The split comes with a 16 page booklet. The lyrics are also really good, read them. Btw the split is called "Bring The War Home" and it's released in 2006.

Black Kronstadt - Discography

Little info about the band; blackened anarcho crust from british columbia / canada. Was active between '92 - '97. They released two EP's and one LP. Some members went on to form the well-known Iskra when that band split up. And Kronstadt is a town near St. Petersburg in Russia.
Crimes Of Capital, Crimes Of The State 7'' is the first release of the band, released in '92. This ep sounds different from their other releases. This one is mostly influenced by uk82 anarcho hardcore bands. Sounds fine enough.

This ep is released in '95. contains 3 tracks. This one is more raw and aggressive than the first ep. the sound quality is not quite fine either, but it's ok anyway.

And this is the first and only LP of the band, released in '96. This Lp is the root of Iskra, i think. This release is more blackened/sludgy crust actually. Recommended for muddy crusties and punks out there.

Summon The Crows - Scavengers Feast

This is the first and only LP of the band, up till now. Their music reminds me a bit of Amebix & early Celtic Frost. So THIS is what "modern" stenchcore sounds like. Unlike the other "modern" stenchcore bands they don't have a huge and boring Bolt Thrower influence in their music. Bolt Thrower is NOT boring btw, Bolt Thrower Worship bands ARE boring. WHATEVER! This is Summon The Crows and this is DARK as fuck.

Summon The Crows - st 7"

The band is formed in 2000 in Oslo, Norway. This 7" is so full of black metal influences, especially in dark guitar riffs and pessimisticly low brutal vocals. 9 songs and 9 minutes of dark stenchcore, and the artwork is also great.
