ENJOY Life--The Challenge #51

November 16, 2015

It's Monday and time for a new challenge at The Challenge.  This week we have a fabulous inspiration photo for you to use.  We can't wait to see what you create!

1. Use the challenge to create a card or paper project.
2. Please add the challenge photo to your post (copy and paste).
3. Have fun and comment on the submissions of others.
4. Anything that is offensive to myself or to my viewers will be removed.
5. Have fun.

My base card is Early Expresso.  The next layer is Island Indigo.  The polka dot layer is from a sheet of retired Stampin' Up! papers in the Background Neutrals DSP pack.  I added an Island Indigo Rectangle cut with the Simon Says Stamp Rectangle Stitched Dies and another pattern from the SU DSP paper pack.  I stamped the image from C.C.Designs-Roberto's Rascals Latte Sue on a sheet of Neenah Solor White Paper.  She was colored with Copic Markers

The "ENJOY" sentiment is from the Papertrey Inks-Still Life Summer Kit.  I used Crumb Cake card stock and cut it five times.  It was glues together with 2 way glue and covered with Wink of Stella for shine.  The word "life" was stamped in Early Expresso.  It is from the same kit.  I found these little cork embellishments in my stash and thought they were fun!  I enjoyed making this card because I thought of myself sitting outside with my coffee, people watching and enjoying a beautiful Fall day!

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog today!  I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment!

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see all fabulous projects by the Design Team members cards!

Happy Fall-Always Playing With Paper-The Challenge #46

October 12, 2015

It's Monday and time for a new challenge at The Challenge!  This week we have a gorgeous color combination for you to use! --Crimson, Yellow, Kraft and Rust--We can't wait to see what you create!

My base card is Crumb Cake card stock.  The next layer is Cajun Craze card stock and embossed with an embossing folder that I had in my stash.  The next layer is Crushed Curry.  It was cut with my SugarPea Designs-Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from SugarPea Designs-Nuts About You in vintage versa fine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I stamped the image from C.C. Designs-Roberto's Rascal's Playful Henry  with Momento black ink and colored him with a variety of Copic Markers.  I then trimmed the image with the same rectangle stitched die from SugarPea Designs.  Linen thread was wrapped around the layers.  I attached a wooden arrow with glue dots and added a few Cajun Craze candy dots for color.  I think Henry is ready to play in the leaves.  I sure have fond memories of doing that in the Fall as a child.

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog today!  I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment!

Have a wonderful week!

Hello You -- PP263

September 20, 2015

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!  The lovely, Laurie is our hostess and she wants us all to create a Fall Scene.  I think we are all ready for cooler weather and the beautiful colors of Autumn.  We can't wait to see what you create!

I am also entering this card in the DragonFly Journey #24 Challenge. "Orange You Sweet" is the theme this week!  How fun!

My card is created using a white base card.  (5 1/2 X 4 1/4)  The Pumpkin Pie frame was made using my stitched rectangle mats.  By placing two together, you can make frames for any picture.  I stamped the adorable image from C.C. Designs-Roberta's Rascals-Twila's Leafy Friends with Momento Black ink on white card stock.  The image was colored using a variety of Copic Markers.

The sentiment was stamped with Early Expresso ink using Lawn Fawn-Scripty Sayings.  Wink of Stella was added to the image for extra sparkle and shine.  I used white gel pen on her cheeks, too.

So happy you stopped by my blog today!  Please leave a message!  I love to hear from you!
