Halloween 2011

Halloween was busy and crazy, but really fun. We had a great time at our ward trunk or treat, and trick or treating as a family. Although my stupid cold kept us from doing a few fun things I had planned (I just wasn't feeling up for it), we still loved being together and seeing how excited our kids were about every piece of candy.

Lia couldn't believe that people were just giving her candy! She would go to the door and say "HIIIIII" and stuff like "oh wow", look at her candy in her bag, and then say "BYEEEEEEE"

I can NOT believe I didn't get a picture with my mom and the kids! Grrrrrrrr. We were so happy she came for a fun holiday! Love you mom!

Max's Class Halloween Party

Guess who the room mom is for this class? Yes, of course...another party to plan this holiday :) But Max loves that I'm "in charge " of his class parties, so it's all good.

My mom was here visiting on Halloween, so I was able to leave the girls with her and go alone to his class. I loved it. I love being with just Max. He so sweet, and wants to hold my hand, and wants me near. Love.









After being in his class and seeing how crazy some kids can be, I am even more thankful how sweet and kind Max is. He listens, follows directions, he's kind and a good friend, he wants to talk nice and act nice. We're so lucky to have him as our forever.

Our Playgroup Halloween Party

We hosted our playgroup's Halloween party. Yes another party at our house. Yes I loved it. Yes I'm crazy.
Yes...I'm a little partied out :)

We had about 45 friends here...and most were dressed in their Halloween costumes and looked darling! There was lots of yummy food and some really cool games.

First we all ate. Then we had all the kids come together and take a group picture. And then I put all the kids in 5 groups, according to their age.

We then had 5 stations:
1- spider making with cookies and frosting
2- halloween bingo
3- pumpkin bowling
4- ghost toss
5- doughnut eating

Honestly, it was one of the most organized parties I've ever had... :) But a HUGE thanks to all the mommies who brought a craft/game and helped the kids! I think everyone had a blast!
