Ava Turns 9!

Happy 9th birthday to my Ava girl! 🎉🎈 This babe is crazy independent, spicy, competitive, a go-getter, and stubborn ☺️. She also has a heart of gold, is wise beyond her years, a loyal friend, loving and sweet. 

She's the best thing that ever happened to Ivy (they are best friends and Av's is the best babysitter). She's taught our family so much about unconditional love. We love her beyond.

Ava girl had a great day.  She chose pancakes with sprinkles for breakfast.  Dickey's for lunch, and Pizza Pie Cafe for dinner.  

Max Turns 11

I believe our kids come to us in order of when they are needed.  And I truly believe there are so many reasons why he is our first.  Dave and I needed him first, we needed his strength and his character to guide us as we figure out this parenting thing.  Our girls need him as their example of right and wrong.  Our family needed his humor, kindness, honesty and love...first.

We love you beyond.

For his birthday this year, he had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.  Wendy's for lunch (just him and me), and Pizza Pie Cafe for his birthday dinner.  He got lots of money, a helicopter and a tennis bag for his presents.  He also got to party with his friends with a late night of pizza, hot tubbing and video games!  He had a great birthday and we just can't believe he's 11 years old!

 She's a tiny little thing!

Ivy Turns ONE!!!

Our littlest dolly turned ONE on June 30th!

You know when you're pregnant, and you already have one or more kids...you lay in bed at night and wonder  how it's all going to work out?  And you worry about how your kids will react to the new baby, and how you'll get anything done ever again, and you wonder if you can possibly love this baby as much as your other kids... Well I've had all those thoughts and more as we've added to our family.  But some how it all works out.  And somehow when that baby is born, your heart miraculously expands and you can't imagine your life without them.  And it feels like they've been apart of your family forever.  And your house is a mess and your life is pretty much a disaster...but theres so much love in your home.  

This sweet baby has completed our family in more ways than I can describe.  I felt her spirit, when we were trying for another, and knew there was one more...even though I kept having miscarriages.  We prayed for her to come and we are so lucky she choose us.  And crazy enough, she woke up a one year old!  Fastest year of my life.

She has brought SO much joy to our family, it's really hard to express in words.
