So, I've had lots of people ask us about our moving plans. And here is the plan:
Yes, we are moving.
No, we don't know when we are moving.
No, we don't know where we are going to live.
Yes, we are moving down south.
Yes, we are SO sad to leave our friends.
Yes, I am SO excited to have a washer, dryer and dishwasher.
Now you know what I know :)

29 Years Young...
And as HANDSOME as they come...
Today is Dave's birthday! And what a great day to have a birthday! The kids and I have been so excited for our daddy's birthday!
Davey is the seriously the most wonderful guy on the planet. He is so good in so many ways. He is constantly out-doing himself and always striving to make himself better. He give a 100% to all that is important in his life. One of the best words to describe him is dedicated.
We started out the day with a yummy pancake breakfast and some presents.
We've been wanting a new video camera that is really small, so we found one that's pretty cool. It's really small, has great sound and picture and is really easy to upload to computer and internet.
Davey is a genius. His mind works in an amazing way. He thinks differently than anyone I know. He's inventive and a problem solver. He likes to be pushed to think through a problem. He has excelled at school, and has again outdone himself.
Here is a video clip from the new camera:
One of the many characteristics I love about him is, his kind and soft heart. He has such a love for people and for our family. He wants to make our world a better place by helping others. He's always been this way. His mom tells me that even when he was little and a teenager that he had a kind heart.
He's just the cutest daddy ever. He LOVES these kids. He has always been so helpful and attentive to our little family. When he comes home from school, he is 100% home and is ready to play and help. His patience is completely amazing to me. In the most difficult/stressful situation, he is as 'cool as a cucumber'.
He is such a great teacher. He has a wonderful way of teaching Max about life. He is able to put 'it' in 'Max terms' and Max thrives on Davey's explanations. He also teaches the YM in our ward. He's been able to find a way to connect with these boys (hard to do...) and helped them to think. He's a wonderful example on how to get through life. Although he is a good teacher, he is also teachable and always wanting to learn and be better.
After the beach and a nap for all of us (we were exhausted!) we headed to Dave's favorite place to eat...VIK's. It's an Indian joint and he loves it. I love it too, but it's SO incredibly spicy (and I can handle spicy...) that I felt like fire was coming out of my ears.
He is an amazing husband and companion. He shows/tells me everyday he loves me and is always finding new ways to show me. He is so caring and such a great listener and communicator. He lets me 'download' my day...everyday.
After dinner we had crepe's (instead of cake, because of Davey's diet...which he is doing SO good at! He's just trying to eat healthier!)
You are so loved Davey. Thanks for all you do for our family. You are an amazing dad, husband, friend, son and...person.

Trip to Utah
We had another fantastic trip to Utah. Going to my moms is always relaxing and I always come home rejuvenated :) It's definitely a vacation for me...and my kids! They had a blast!
When we flew in last Monday, the weather was great! So Max and Ava played the rest of the day in the back yard...they would eat and sleep outside if they could. The rest of the trip was freezing...
Tuesday was a day of playing for the kids, going to the Temple with my mom, getting my hair done, and a night out with my girlies (we missed you Holls and Linds!). Seriously...they perfect day :)
Here is Shaunna with her presents! She is due any second!
We made a trip up to see my Nonna and Aunt Kathy, Koen and Kelcy.
...and don't you love how Kathy and my mom joined right in with the cowboy fun??
They played cowboys the whole time...
Biz Nonni and Kelcy
I got a facial from my sister in law Emily! Oh the joy! I always come away from Em a new woman.
**this is why I look all red and funny**
We just love Gee and Em! They are the best! They always make our kids feel special.
Wednesday night was my family's 'celebration' night. We went bowling to celebrate. We were celebrating Jake, Jordan's, and Brennen's birthdays, and Jake and Josh's graduation. Here we are bowling. I love these boys!!!
They were SOOO cute with my kids (as always), they play and make such an effort to be in their lives. My kids love them! They are all just too cute!
And here is a 10 minute video...ha ha!
Thursday was cousin play day. Max got to play with his cousins (Alivia and Kennedi) all day! They have the best cousins! Max loved to play with Livy's new barn and watch movies. And he loved to play with Kennedi's little car. We also got to go visit Nana and Da, which is always fun! Here is a picture of all of Max and Ava's cousins. Thanks Nana and Da for a fun night of playin, talkin, and eatin.
To end our trip, a picture with the Josh...such a great kid. He was so helpful and sweet with us staying there. He would watch the kids when needed and helped me every chance he could. He made ti-pi's for Max and played cowboys and Indian's, Light savors, and gun-shoots! Love you Duke!

Easter Day 2009
We had a great (and crazy) Easter day. The day before we headed down to look at housing, found an area that we liked, so on Sunday we went to church there. During the meeting, the fire alarm went off! Pretty crazy, I've never had that happen before. But I really enjoyed the talks about the Savior and the atonement.
Before we headed the church, we did an Easter Egg hunt and the kids got a few little presents.
Before:
After:
Ava finding an Easter egg...
Max loving his light-savor
After a crazy day of church, house hunting and driving, we came home and dyed Easter eggs.
Ava was literally pink all over from putting her hands in the dye and then spreading it all over her self...awesome...
Max did a great job of trying not to spill and being patient while the eggs were sitting in the dye.
I'm SOOOOOOOOO sad I didn't get any pictures of the kids in there Easter clothes. But the day was so crazy, it just didn't happen. I will take some soon (for you, mom...) and post them. Ava looked darling in her little pink/flowy dress, and Max looked so handsome in his white 'chill' shirt and blue shorts.
All and all, a fun and memorable day. We are so thankful for the TRUE meaning of Easter and for our Savior.
