We (my kids and I) love, love, love this guy! He is the most amazing dad ever!
Being a dad has come so natural to him and he is constantly 'showing' (just through his actions) me how to be a better parent.
He is SO patient with our kids and has a gift of calming down a tantrum, it's totally amazing! He also is the 'player' in our house. He loves to play with the kids and is always coming up with a fun idea for them. Recently he had the idea that he wanted to make a pirate game. I thought "ok, whatever..." So he and Max were off to the store to make a pirate game. They got home with sprinkler pipe and some sort of foam stuff...and he made swords! He also bought 'treasure' and now we play pirates! He is ALWAYS thinking of stuff like this...totally amazing!
Our kids adore him and look up to him in so many ways. And he fully adores our kids. He's the kind of dad who rushes home from school/work so he can spend quality time with us. He would much rather be with his family than spend time with friends or any other extracurricular activity.
He is SO good with Max and lets him 'work' with him...when they do house projects. Max honestly believes that they are the workers. Davey is constantly building Max up and helping him have a great self worth. He teaches him about how to be a gentleman and how to take care of a family, how to love a wife and respect women.
Ava is a little daddy's girl. She LOVES when he gets home from school/work and screams 'DADDY' when the door opens. She runs to him, it's very sweet. I love that she will grow up seeing how a wife and mother should be treated by a husband and father. She will have very high expectations of her husband someday...because she has the greatest dad.
He works so hard for us and he continues to exceed my expectations of what a husband and dad should be.

And a happy fathers day to both our dads. They are both great men and we are so lucky to have them in our lives! They both love their kids and grandkids, it's very fun to see them in action as 'The Papa' and 'Da'. We love you both!
