5 Ways to Use Stamps with Angela

Hello dear BoBunny fans,

Angela back here. Today, I would like to share with you some pretty tags featuring BoBunny stamps. I am going to show you some easy and fun ways to use them and make your creations unique.

BoBunny_Stamps_Angela_Mar2_01

The tags are 3 1/8 x 6 1/4 inch and are made out of white card-stock. They come with a their own tag holder made with Double Dot papers from Lace collection.

1 - Create your own patterns with stamps:
To make each tag holder special, I decided to create a unique pattern on the paper. I stamped all over the front pocket and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The first tag has a fun window shaker on top, very easy to make with the adhesive vellum windows by EK Success. The shaker is round and filled with sequins and round paper confetti. So, I chose the Bubbles from Terrific Textures Stamp as a pattern for the pocket.

For the sentiment I used the 'Congratulations!' from Sweet Celebrations Stamp and a layered chipboard banner and a few confetti to embellish the tag.

2 - Create your own embellishments:
The pink tag holder is featuring Beautiful Butterflies Stamp. Again, I stamped on the pocket all the different shapes and sizes of butterflies. Moreover, I fussy cut a few other butterflies and layered one on the other to create a decoration. Just combine the different shapes of stamps on different  kind of paper, fussy cut them and you'll obtain special embellishments!

I repeated the same pattern on the tag too. I first colored the white tag with pink watercolors, giving an ombre effect, then I tamped the butterflies and heat embossed in white.

3 - Use stamps as a stitching guide:
For those who love hand stitching, another way to use stamps is to use them as a guide for stitching. Here, I stitched the sentiment 'Happy Birthday'. I first stamped the sentiment using Versamark Ink on a piece of craft card-stock, which is a kind of transparent ink. Then, I punched the holes, following the lines and finally I stitched the 'Happy Birthday' with a thin needle.

This is my preferred tag, maybe because of the flowers. The tag holder has a beautiful rose pattern on the front made with Garden Grove Stamp. I stamped the roses changing direction each time and avoiding overlapping.

4 - Dimensional Pattern
This is a combination of the above techniques. What I have done here is to stamp some rose bouquets on a white piece of card-stock and fussy cut them. I adhered them on the tag using square foam adhesives so to create a dimensional pattern. I cut with scissors the parts exceeding from the tag and voilĂ .

5 - Punched Stamps
Here is another idea on how to use our stamps.

If you don't like stitching or are too lazy to do it, what about just punching holes along the stamped image?

Valentine's Day Cards: Heart Card

Hi everyone!
It´s not very far away to valentines day so for today I have made a little Valentine's Day card for you.
I made the card as a heart. I love making heartshaped cards and I hope you will like it too. I cut it out with a template I have at home and then just worked on it from there. I have done a lot of fussycutting from the papers in the collection and used it as embellishments. It is perfect for papers that have some pictures on them. Here is the process video on the BoBunny channel!

I have also used some of the stamps I have and stamped on different papers and made signs and balloons. Perfect if you want some patterned backgrounds instead of just one color!
I used the sweet clementine collections and some stamps and flowers on this card. All of the colors are so happy! I hope you like it!

Life in Color and Pentart Metallic Wax Paste with Irene

Hello Everyone! It's Irene here and my assignment for today is to create a layout with 3 different looks using BoBunny's Life In Color collection with Pentart Metallic Wax Paste. Here is a collage of my layout in 3 versions.

Life Is A journey Layout by Irene Tan using BoBunny Life In Color Collection

Now, let's take a look at my first layout. It's a clean and simple layout which only involves some cutting and pasting onto the layout. I've cut out several images from the pattern papers and use them to layer on the layout.

Moving on to the second layout. This time, I've raised the difficulty a bit by adding some mixed media techniques on it. I've done some stamping, misting, inking and stenciling on it.

Finally, here is the third layout. This time, I've cut out more intricate images from the pattern papers to add to the layout. I've also added several different elements such as die-cuts and flowers to it. I've cut out some keys and key holes using the Royal dies by BoBunny. The die-cuts and flowers are painted with some Pentart metallic wax paste to create the shiny look on it. To give more dimension to this layout, I've added some brads and BoBunny transparent gel (extra shine!) to some of the embellishments.

Double Dot & Take a Hike Party by Megan Gourlay for BoBunny

There's always sweet treats at parties but why not put a quirky hiking theme to them?  Like chocolate peanuts could be bear poop ;)  but in NZ I found huhu grubs at the lollie shop :)  Perfect for my party seeing as their indigenous to NZ and found in dead logs, easy to find when you take a hike ;)

First up, goody bags! So why not backpacks?!  I've used different colours and ranges of Double Dot Cardstock to make mine, using brads from the collection to co-ordinate and some misc. matching ribbon.

1 Layout 3 Ways With Firecracker!

Hello Everyone

It's Denise here today, to share 1 layout, 3 different ways.

Mixed Media Layout by Denise van Deventer using BoBunny Firecracker and Pearlescents and Washi Tape

The first page, has a fairly clean design to it.  I did some gesso stenciling, some water colouring and stamping, along with some washi tape bits and a few accents.

On the second page, I added some die-cuts and added highlights with a white gel pen. The addition of the red die-cut pieces, just seemed to make the page pop.

On the last page, I added yet more stamping, stenciling with pearlescents and more accents, along with some journaling.

I guess the key to styling, is sometimes knowing when to stop and that "enough is enough".

Here are some close-ups of the clusters and details.

This photo was taken a few years back and is of my son, who was playing around with these sunglasses.  He was trying to look very cool and then eventually the sunglasses did not sit correctly over his nose and so I got this cute shot! ;-)

Whatever your style, that's the great thing about scrap booking, you can add as little or as much as you want.  It's all up to you! ;-)

Thanks so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today.  We hope to see you back soon.

1 Layout 3 Ways with Take A Hike!

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a really fun project! It's a layout that shows three different ways you can scrapbook your projects. Clean and Simple? Maybe a little more? Oh my gosh I can't stop? I think I am the last one! So let's take a peek at what I created.

The Boyz of Summer by Lynn Shokoples

Here are all three layouts in the different stages. I've had this photo of my son and our grand dog Jiggy since last summer looking for the right collection. Then along came Take A Hike! Perfect for those lazy days of summer out at the lake. Now let's take a look at the different layouts a little more closely.

For the first layout I added some Noteworthy Pieces, a little Chipboard and a few strips of the 6x6 Paper Pad. I used one of the cards from the Pocket Squares to use as a title. Done?

For the next step I added more paper strips along the side, backed my photo and added a few more chipboard pieces along with some Noteworthy. There are so many fun elements in the Noteworthy and Chipboard packs, I had a hard time stopping.. now are we done?

For the finished layout I added stamps, some Graphite Pearlescent with the Under the Sea Stickable stencil and a title from the Combo Stickers. I found the Icon and Emoji Stamps perfect for filling in those little spaces and it added some fun to the layout. See.. I have a hard time stopping! I am definitely the "I don't know when to stop" scrapper, always looking for another little spot for an embellishment.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a Scrappy Happy Day!!!!
