Using Brads on a Layout with Elisa

Hi everyone!!
Elisa here.
Today I want to share my new LO with you
I made it using the wonderful Sweet Clementine Collection!!

Look at those wonderful glittered brads!!! I think they are perfect as a simple embellishment under the picture on a LO. They are small, but really beautiful, and of course the colors match perfectly with the paper collection!!!
I also love the brads in the Harmony and Bee-uiful You collections!! The colors are absolutely amazing!!!

In the picture above you can see the effect of the glittered brads under the main picture.

Here you can see how I played the with square. The Tic Tac Toe die was perfect for a 3D effect, but I also wanted to create some more layers, so I cut some squares from the upper patterned paper, so you can see the lower one through them.

In the picture above you can see the double square 3D effect.

Roses are the principal flowers in this project. I decided to use the Noteworthy and some embossed roses too (The Rose Garden Stamp was perfect for this)

Again brads! This black one is very little and elegant!!!

Winter Getaway: Layout with Elisa

Hello everyone, crafty friends!!

Here is Elisa from Italy! Today I'm here for sharing with you my first project for BoBunny!! What an excited moment for me!
So, let me introduce you the Layout "Sweet Winter": I used the wonderful collection Winter Getaway. When I saw for the first time this paper collection I immediately thought about how much wonderful the colors are. These colors spoke to me about warm sweaters, cabins in the wood, hot chocolate in a giant mug and footprints on the snow.

The background of the LO is the Homestead Cardstock 12"x12": I blended some white gesso with a gauze behind the right part of the cardstock, for highlighting le place where I decided to put my picture (blend gesso with a piece of gauze is great to achieve a gentle textured effect).

I cut the other elements of the LO from Branches and Retreat Cardstocks 12"x12" (I used them to realize the picture frame, the bend on the right side of the LO and the ornament with banner on the left side).

For the title I used the Chipboard Alphabet Stickers... The Font is really nice, and the little snowflakes give them a very icy effect!!!

I gave movement to the picture frame, ripping the edges and pasting additional flowers which end outside the original square. I also chose some wonderful brads by the collection as embellishment.

I added to the frame trees other two pines by the Noteworthy pack, using some foam adhesive (Sticky Thumb):

You can find these little cabins in the Noteworthy pack too:

I really love this banner and the sentiment on it...
For the background I used the 6"x6" cardstock with multiple patterned stripes on it: I cut all those thin stripes with different lenghts and pasted them behind the little double banner with deers (I chose it, because it has the same pattern of the bigger band on the right side of the LO, but it's smaller).

As embellishmets I used some other brads and little flowers by Noteworthy:

I hope you enjoy this project!!  Till next time!!

Today is Party Day!! and I've teamed up Double Dot and Take a Hike to give you party ideas with a smidgen of a NZ twist! ;)

Double Dot & Take a Hike Party by Megan Gourlay for BoBunny

There's always sweet treats at parties but why not put a quirky hiking theme to them?  Like chocolate peanuts could be bear poop ;)  but in NZ I found huhu grubs at the lollie shop :)  Perfect for my party seeing as their indigenous to NZ and found in dead logs, easy to find when you take a hike ;)

First up, goody bags! So why not backpacks?!  I've used different colours and ranges of Double Dot Cardstock to make mine, using brads from the collection to co-ordinate and some misc. matching ribbon.

Super Hero Misc Me!

My grandson celebrated his fifth birthday with a party which theme was Super Heroes. He was Super Man and his friends were using fantasies of several heroes, it was so funny. When I saw the Firecracker collection, I thought that was perfect for the Misc Me about her party.

On the first page of this Misc Me I used the invitation for the party:

I covered the title using blue Pearlescents:

Here he is Clark Kent, his secret identity:

And here he is doing the dramatic gesture of ripping open his shirt to reveal the familiar "S" emblem when called into action!

I mixed pearlescent with BoBunny gel and I applied it on the stencil :

I made the same on this page and I also applied pearlescent on the hearts:

I decorated a plastic container with pieces of paper and some stickers. Maybe I can fill it with sausages to put on the grill?

No picnic without candy! Here are some bars we could enjoy after the sausages!

Misc Me Goes To The Beach!

Hello there BoBunny fans, Bernii Miller here with you this Easter Monday to share with you a Misc Me layout that I created with the brand new Beach Therapy collection.

Week 37 Misc Me layout by Bernii Miller for BoBunny using the Beach Therapy collection.

Even though my photos for the week are not " beachy " in theme I was still able to scrap my everyday week with this collection. I also pulled out the older Alpha stickers which are just the perfect size to add to the journalling cards. Here is a close up of both sides of the layout.

Egg-cellent Easter Egg!

Easter Egg by Ulrika Wandler

Hi! Ulrika here for a simple tutorial on how to use the fabulous black crackle paste!

I used a papier maché egg, and I started with priming the egg with the smoothe crackle paste primer. Don't be shy! Let dry until it's not sticky. Then apply the crackle paste, and don't be shy now either!

The BoBunny palette knifes are excellent to use, but mostly on flat surfaces. For this round egg I used a brush and a foam applicator.

Let the black crackle paste dry, and watch it crackle! :-)

I wanted to add something around the egg, and I made a ribbon using the gorgeous Beautiful Dreamer. I also used a few of the new fabulous craft dies and vellum paper to decorate my egg.

So now I have this beautiful special egg to put on my Easter table!
