Love You More Than Cupcakes! Featuring Double Dot and Dies with Angela

Hey BoBunny Friends!

It's Angela today on a few party time projects and ideas! I have lots of birthdays to celebrate coming up soon, an anniversary and don't forget Valentine's Day!  That's why I'm feeling so crafty.

First, I've prepared a few tags to attach to the birthday gifts . . . .

Cupcake Cards and Ideas by Angela Tombari for BoBunny DT using BoBunny Dies

I've used the negative cuts from the BoBunny Cupcake Die, creating shaker tags. I used glitter, confetti and lots of fun colors of sequins inside to give it some movement and lots of sparkle!

Using the positive of the same die, I made a few cards.

Last, I prepared a few cupcake toppers for the Valentine's Day. Aren't they cute?

Transparent Gel On A Fun & Lovely Layout!

Good Morning! How is everyone's day going? Today I'm going to share a little tutorial using the new BoBunny Transparent Gel. What an amazing product! So I will chat as I go.. Are you ready?

Best Friends Layout by Lynn Shokoples

Best Friends Layout Tutorial using Transparent Gel and Beautiful Dreamer by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny

I chose the Beautiful Dreamer Collection to work with on this layout. Since I laid eyes on the 12x12 Bicycle Patterned Paper I knew I just had to do a layout with it. The collection also has decoupage paper, so I had an idea I wanted to try. It was my first time working with the Transparent Gel, and let me tell you... I think it's the best adhesive I have ever used! And.. it's just not for gluing as you will see later in the tutorial.

Decoupage Paper, Buttons,Transparent Gel and the 6x6 paper pad were the first supplies I grabbed!

I cut strips from the Decoupage Paper and just rolled them into a ball with my fingers. Next I cut a circle with my punch from one of the sheets from the 6x6 paper pad. I covered the circle with the Transparent Gel and then just laid the Decoupage Paper over it in a circle, going round and round adding little bits of the gel.

When I was done I used the Transparent Gel to glue down the buttons on the shabby flowers I had made. Once they were dried, which didn't take long at all.. those buttons were not coming off!! I just had to give them a good tug to test my theory!

Making the shabby flowers were fun, but what else could I do? I cut another strip from the Decoupage Paper, scrunched it again and used it as a border behind the Journal Contents Cards I had chosen to use. You need such a small amount of the gel, a little goes a long way.

It gave a nice ruffled effect that was just peeking out as an added layer... and OH.. it coordinated with the shabby flower too.

Just another peek at the flower and the ruffle.

The two extra flowers I made I used on the bicycle wheels as a little extra something. It gave the bottom of the layout added dimension.

Now everything is adhered to the layout! Wait... there is something else you can do with the Transparent Gel... if you paint it on top of something, it gives added dimension and a bit of shine!! The basket of flowers on the bicycle was the perfect element to try it on.

See the shine?? It's such a pretty look! You can use it to accent your patterned paper, die cuts, embellishments.. the possibilities are endless! I can't wait for my next project to see what else I can do with it.

Hello there BoBunny fans, Bernii Miller here with you this Easter Monday to share with you a Misc Me layout that I created with the brand new Beach Therapy collection.

Week 37 Misc Me layout by Bernii Miller for BoBunny using the Beach Therapy collection.

Even though my photos for the week are not " beachy " in theme I was still able to scrap my everyday week with this collection. I also pulled out the older Alpha stickers which are just the perfect size to add to the journalling cards. Here is a close up of both sides of the layout.

Elegance With Foil Rubons!

Hello everyone! The Garden Journal Collection is the perfect collection to create a mini album for the gardener, to display the wonders of a floral garden. The Gold Alphabet gives the album the old world richness of leather covered books embossed in gold. The Gold Alphabet rub-ons allowed me to create that look.

Gatefold Mini Album featuring Alphabet Foil Gold Rubons and Garden Journal

The  gold rub-ons are so rich that they look like gold leaf embedded in the paper. They are so easy to use and rub on with perfection. To enhance the gold, I created a jeweled closure using gold jewelry finds and seam binding, that were strung  through pink wide eyelets that were set in the cover. I also edged the album with Gold glitter paste.

No garden is complete without butterflies. On the back of the album, I used modeling paste with the stencils doing floral corners and the 3 smallest butterflies down the middle.

On the inside of the album there are 6 large envelope/sleeve pages that each contain a journaling card that slips into the sleeve. On a few of the pages as in this one, there is a pocket on the sleeve itself that holds tags and additional cards. I used the Gold rub-ons to spell the word "flowers." The gold throughout the album is a little treat to add to the elegance.

This is a closeup of one of the cards in the album that feature the Gold rub-ons.

These are 2 of the 6 cards that were pulled from the sleeves. The lined pattern on the Delight paper was perfect  as you can use these cards to journal on. The opposite side of the cards have patterned paper and plenty of room for photos. They slide easily back into the sleeves.

The top of each fold on the cards I placed a button. Once the button was adhered to the fold, I used my Cropodile to punch a holes over the existing holes and placed  a piece of string through and tied a bow.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope that you are inspired to use the Foil rub-ons to add that special elegance to your next project.

What A Wonderful World!

What a Wonderful World by Ilene Tell
What a Wonderful World layout by Ilene Tell using BoBunny Altitude collection
Today, I'm sharing a Pinterest-inspired layout. I admit it - I love Pinterest. It's one of those sites that kind of sucks you in, and before you know it, hours have passed. When I got the challenge to use a picture from Pinterest to inspire a layout, I thought it would be fun to browse some home décor ideas. There is so much stuff out there! All the images with "Gallery Walls" caught my eyes. Something about the simplicity in combination with the busyness of it was just fascinating. So streamlined and organized, and yet SO much to look at. Here's my inspiration image:
It comes from TidbitsAndTwine (and there's a whole article there on creating gallery walls). The Altitude paper was perfect for it since it already had a whole collection of "framed" images. To better fit the wall décor feel, I used foam adhesive to pop up the photo and all the images around it, to help them "float" on the page.

I also added some buttons and banners to give the layout a little more interest and variety without taking away from the more streamlined feel of it.

January Blog Sketch Challenge!

It's time for a new sketch challenge and this month's sketch is wonderful in my opinion. I used it to create a romantic lay-out with the beautiful 'Rose Cafe' collection about my parents. I used the sketch as the basis of my lay-out, but interpreted it in a rather free way. I used the doily as the circle and used several cut out squares and a chipboard sticker on the place of the small rectangles in the sketch.

My background paper is a sheet of Double Dot card stock. I stamped on it with brown ink to make it look a bit more grungy.

The little squares in my design were all cut out from the "Bistro" paper. I attached some of them with foam tape, so they would stand out more. I also added pearls in the centers of some of the squares.

As a finishing touch I added two beautiful BoBunny blossoms and a couple of buttons. I think it's funny that I actually hardly ever used buttons on my lay-outs before BoBunny started making them. Now I can never have enough of them and use them on almost all of my projects! BoBunny's buttons are the best for sure!
