You'll Flip For This Mini Flip Album!

Hey there BoBunny Fans!!! I have created a little flip mini album using the gorgeous Juliet collection, and incorporating Misc Me journaling cards. Misc Me can be used for just about any BoBunny project from cards, to tags, layouts and even mini albums. Your imagination is your guide.  I added touches of gold for extra glamour and shimmer.

Here is a closeup of the front cover. I layered the journaling cards, then added the layered chipboard on top. I cut the laser cut butterfly in half, sprayed it with Bobunny bronze spray, finger painted some gold glitter paste on it then sprayed it with Bobunny Gold spray. I added some Mocha jewels and used some Gold Foil rub-ons as well. The cover just shimmers and sparkles.

This is one of 6 pages I did for the flip album. I used  the larger journaling cards and die cut some ATC cards from them. The title on the card is a sticker backed by light weight chip board.

For the last page in the flip album, I used the mid sized journaling cards and created a little waterfall feature.  There is plenty of room for photos or journaling.

The pages were all adhered to corrugated cardboard. You could use chip board, but I love the raw edge of the corrugated cardboard. It gives this flip album a little bit of a rustic feel. It is also very sturdy. I tied couple of ribbon bows to the book rings that hold the flip album together.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you are inspired to incorporate  your Misc Me product in your next project. You can visit my blog to see more details and closeups of the rest of the pages.

High Tea Party!

When my girlfriends come over for lunch, I like to treat them to something special. The next time we get together, it will be for a High Tea, and they will each leave with a goodie bag. The Juliet collection was the perfect choice for my project. Warm and elegant with a bit of sweetness.

High Tea Gift Bags

I started with a plain small bag that I found in the party section of my local craft store. I adhered a piece of patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad over the front of the bag, then added a strip of die-cut from the Elegant Border down the middle, then  added a journaling card and popped it up a bit with some pop dots. After I wrapped the cookies in a clear cellophane bag, I tied it with ribbon and added the tag that I punched from Nostalgia paper and topped with a button. I then tucked the cookies into the bag.

I added a small doily over the flap, then added die cut rosettes in the middle.I topped the middle of the rosette with a jewel, then tied a ribbon over the flap to keep the bag shut.

For a special touch, I removed  the tea bags from their original wrapper and created my own wrapper from the patterned paper. I just traced the original wrapper onto my patterned paper and cut it out and followed the fold lines.  I topped it with an Elegant Border die cut and added the hang tag to the tea bag itself. I just tucked the tea bag into it's new sleeve.

I really enjoyed creating these gift bags. With so many beautiful and fun BoBunny collections, I hope you are inspired to create your own. They were super easy to put together.

Wonderful Wood Shapes and Glimmer Spray!

Hi Lisa here to show you that the wood pieces can be primed and sprayed to match your projects! I decided to mix and match some wood pieces from 3 different collections for my layout. I  love the colors of the sea. The blues and greens are just so calming. With just 2 beautiful colors you can create a masterpiece. On this layout I used BoBunny's Glimmer Spray in Frost and Mint.

Layout by Lisa Gregory featuring Forever Young

The background was adhered to a piece of corrugated cardboard. I then used the Brocade Stencil and crackle paste on the background. Once it dried, I sprayed some Glimmer spray in Frost on a piece of plastic bag, then sprayed on a bit of water to water it down and pressed the bag, spay side down onto the background to achieve a watercolor effect. I did this using the Mint as well until I got the coverage I wanted. I also die cut the butterflies from the Flutter dies and sprayed them with Frost and Mint to get a variegated color.  Once they were dry, I adhered them to the background by the body only and slightly folded up the wings.

Layout by Lisa Gregory featuring Forever Young and stencils

For the blossoms, I enhanced the darker blue ones with Glimmer Spray in Frost. For the lighter blue flowers, I sprayed them with Mint to change the color up a bit. I also die cut some blossoms and leaves from the Double Dot paper in Clove, then I sprayed them with the Frost and Mint
Glimmer sprays for a 2 toned effect. They dry to a gorgeous shimmer.

The wooden pieces were all primed using white acrylic paint. Once they were dry, I sprayed them with Frost and Mint. I arranged all of the pieces on my layout until I was pleased with the design and then I adhered everything down permanently. I used the stamps around the page in random spots, just for texture.

Elegance With Foil Rubons!

Hello everyone! The Garden Journal Collection is the perfect collection to create a mini album for the gardener, to display the wonders of a floral garden. The Gold Alphabet gives the album the old world richness of leather covered books embossed in gold. The Gold Alphabet rub-ons allowed me to create that look.

Gatefold Mini Album featuring Alphabet Foil Gold Rubons and Garden Journal

The  gold rub-ons are so rich that they look like gold leaf embedded in the paper. They are so easy to use and rub on with perfection. To enhance the gold, I created a jeweled closure using gold jewelry finds and seam binding, that were strung  through pink wide eyelets that were set in the cover. I also edged the album with Gold glitter paste.

No garden is complete without butterflies. On the back of the album, I used modeling paste with the stencils doing floral corners and the 3 smallest butterflies down the middle.

On the inside of the album there are 6 large envelope/sleeve pages that each contain a journaling card that slips into the sleeve. On a few of the pages as in this one, there is a pocket on the sleeve itself that holds tags and additional cards. I used the Gold rub-ons to spell the word "flowers." The gold throughout the album is a little treat to add to the elegance.

This is a closeup of one of the cards in the album that feature the Gold rub-ons.

These are 2 of the 6 cards that were pulled from the sleeves. The lined pattern on the Delight paper was perfect  as you can use these cards to journal on. The opposite side of the cards have patterned paper and plenty of room for photos. They slide easily back into the sleeves.

The top of each fold on the cards I placed a button. Once the button was adhered to the fold, I used my Cropodile to punch a holes over the existing holes and placed  a piece of string through and tied a bow.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope that you are inspired to use the Foil rub-ons to add that special elegance to your next project.

Donut Love by Keri Babbitt

Donut Love Misc Me by Keri Babbitt using 3L Adhesives and the BoBunny #ForeverYoung Collection

For this month's Misc Me project, I created a fun mix of custom embellishments, using patterned paper from the BoBunny #ForeverYoung collection, along with the 3D foam squares mix pack from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  The mix pack is great for creating custom embellishments both large and small, since both sizes come in one package!

I was also able to easily make my own stickers, by using the adhesive sheets with the patterned paper, before punching out my donut shapes.  What a quick & efficient way to customize each pocket of my 2-page spread!

Glittered Canvas & Sweet Life Layout!

Hello there, Lisa here, sharing a Canvas Wall Hanging featuring the Sweet Life Collection and Glitter Paste. I had so much fun with all of the new BoBunny products from the latest collections. I chose to do a wall hanging for a dear friend who owns a photography business. (check out my blog for link)  The photo is of her gorgeous little one Delilah. This is kind of like a canvas wrapped photo, except it is a 3 dimensional scrapbook layout mounted on 12 x 12 canvas with the edges being adorned to match the layout. I did a lot of stamping using various BoBunny stamps. I mixed older and newest collection. There are so many gorgeous ones to choose from now. The new Flutter stamps are darling. I LOVE butterflies!!

I used the Glitter paste in various parts of the canvas and the flowers and also rubbed it around the decorative punched paper on the background.

I also spread some glitter paste on the leaves of the flowers. I layered parts of the die cut Ornate Frames behind the Noteworthy tag. I even placed one over the word dream.

The Tutorial to create the Canvas Wall Hanging:

Step 1.
Prepare the sides of the canvas by rubbing on some Pearlescents in Blush. This will create a base that the glitter paste will adhere to.

Step 2.  Apply your stencil to the edge of the canvas and stick down firmly. Apply a thick layer of glitter paste using a palette knife.

Step 3. Pull off the stencil carefully, and repeat this step until the whole perimeter of the canvas is done.

Step 4. Adhere your layout to the canvas once the glitter paste has dried.

I hope you were inspired to create a canvas of your own. I surely enjoyed creating this project using Sweet Life and Glitter Paste. I hope you give it a try.

Till next time...Lisa xo

Sunday Fun Day Mini Tag Album!

Hello, Lisa here to share with you a 6x3 mini Tag album using the gorgeous Garden Journal Collection. The new metallic Pearlescent Pens are really versatile. I chose to use the Graphite to color my die cut frame and the tag holes to make them look like metal.

The new dies from BoBunny are fabulous!! I used one part of the Lattice frame for my front and back covers. Once the die cuts were finished with the Graphite, I then dotted it to make it look like rivets. I used the Blush Daisy Blooms, and created the leaves by punching them out from leftover paper. I inked the leaves, rolled them for texture and tucked them under the flowers.

Inside each page there is  a pocket that contains a small folder for notes or pictures.
I adhered each die cut tag to a piece of die cut chipboard and backed it with white card stock and a piece of Note Paper cut from the Misc Me. This made each page sturdy to stand on its own.  I used the 6x6 Butterfly stencil on the note paper, so there is  more room for journaling.

This is a view of the front and back covers. I punched holes using my Cropodile and used book rings to hold the tag book together.

Stencils, Stencils, Show Me How To Use Those Stencils!

Say what??? BoBunny stencils are stickable? You mean, when I put it on my project I don't have worry about smudging or bleed? That is right crafty friends! We are bringing you a week of projects that feature BoBunny stencils!

I Wanna go FAST!! by Lisa G

I love stencils!!! They are so versatile and can be used with sooooo many different mediums. For my layout, because it has so much texture, I decided to use BoBunny's black ink applying it using a foam rubber applicator with the  BoBunny stencil, to grunge up the papers for my layout. I have wanted to scrap a picture of my car, and found the Wild Card collection to be the perfect match.

The background paper was mounted on  piece of corrugated cardboard using ModPodge. Once it dried, I wet the edges of the layout and peeled back, tore and wrinkled back the outer layer of paper and cardboard. I did the same for the middle piece of paper. I inked it further and applied the fabulous  Bronze spray to give it an old gilded finish. I die cut the tags from the extra paper I cut away, inked them and added an eyelet.

I used flowers from 2 different collections that matched my paper perfectly. I inked and layered them before scrunching them up a bit for texture and fullness. Then I placed a brad in the center to anchor them together.

You can see the peeled back layers that I used on this layout. I also tucked under some inked petals between the layers. I added the glitter paste round the middle layer to add some sparkle to the layout. I also tucked in  few of the noteworthy pieces into the layers as well.

The BoBunny stencils are wonderful as they have a sticky back formulated to stay in perfect position while you use your choice of mediums. There are a variety of designs to work with.

Bridal Shower Kraft Gift Bag Tutorial

As we continue projects using BoBunny's Kraft Gift Bags, we have a treat in store for you! Today Lisa is sharing a Bridal Shower Wishing Well project along with a tutorial. Wouldn't this be a fun project to do for any occasion? What great way to share recipes, thoughts or good wishes. What could you use this idea for??

Recipe Card in Kraft Bag for Bridal Shower Wishing Well... Tutorial by Lisa Gregory

To cover the Kraft bag, cut a piece of patterned paper just slightly smaller than the surface of the bag, ink the edges and adhere the paper to the flap side of the bag.

For the flap,I used a die which happens to be the perfect size for the flap on the bag. I also cut  the same shape using thin chipboard as well. This will give the flap some weight when adhered to the paper. Ink the edges attach the trimmed die cut to the flap of the bag.

Attach a flower to the middle of the die-cut flap.

This is the underside of the flap. Place a chipboard circle. behind the flower. This will give it additional weight to keep the flap down without the use of magnets. It also gives it a nice clean finish.

Using a hole punch, punch out a half circle in the top middle of the bag. Now trim a recipe card so that it slides in the bag with ease. The half circle punch out makes it easy to pull out the recipe card.

Now time to decorate the outside of the bag. Die cut a small tag and layer it. I placed some lined patterned paper to write a small sentiment on. Do some random stamping and add the letters to the side of the bag.

This is the finished Recipe in a Gift Bag, for a Bridal Shower Wishing Well. I think this is great idea to collect recipes for the bride to be. The concept could be applied to different themes. How about tips for new moms at a baby shower!!! The ideas are endless!!
