Celebrate A Mother's Love

Hey friends, it's time for SPRING to happen and a NEW KIT!
This ones for the mom's whose best was never good enough, and
those who have no family but cling to every ounce of heart they have.

and amazing Clear Scraps goodness. Everyone always says they
can;t put pink on a boy project....COUGH I beg to differ!!
I love this album full of PINK with my two sweet boys
who are so kind hearted and loving. I am so blessed.
It was all about celebrating so I decided I would celebrate my love
and gratefulness for having them in my life.
I am so blessed to have such sweet boys who love me and
make sure I know they love me and stand by me.
I can only pray they grow up as sweet as they are now
and helpful to others without anger.
My heart always hurts thinking of those I have lost and the
family who choose to let their anger lead them away from love.
Beyond my control, I have to focus on the love I have and let
the rest slip away. I have never been happy with the fact I have
no family and I was so abused, I did the best I could my whole
life but sometimes the nest will never be good enough.

Thank you all for supporting me...

Vintage Painted Acrylic Tag Card

Good morning friends, what a busy week ahead,
but I wanted to share some new projects this week including this
vintage style painted Clear Scraps acrylic card from the
For this card I painted the edges of the flaps using Deco Art paints.
Then to create the tag I simply cut out a sheet of patterned paper and used
a new Little B Border punch for the top.
Added some Prima flowers and goodness from the kit and
that was all she wrote!
These Send It Clear Cards from pre-cut and ready to assemble with an envelope too,
they are so amazing.

~Cannot wait for Monday! Exciting day ahead~

Good morning all your crafty peeps in blog-land!
I know, I know, it's Monday and why the heck am I so chipper?
Because #1 someone made my weekend special
#2 tonight is the night!! Tonight Purple Cows will be on
HSN National TV and I have a project in the show! WOOHOO!
Don't forget to watch!
11pm Central tonight....
9pm Pacific!
Look for the Valentine's Day Display Box
I finally got my last painting photographed.
It is simple but I loved it because it matches my kitchen perfectly!
I am totally drawn to the simple design because it goes so well
in any room!
And for fun news...

In the mail I received a beautiful Hello Kitty watch and it was
so sweet and kind, from a friend, who just
noticed I loved Hello Kitty and thought I might like a watch.
How sweet was that?
I have to remember THOSE are the people who count, the ones
who know me and take the time to find out who I really
am instead of looking for something wrong
with me and judging me from afar, because they will
always find something especially if they really want to find something!!
It teaches me to be careful not to do that to others!
Always look for the kindness and goodness instead.

So thanks for the sweet gesture my friend...
~I am off to clean since this is the FIRST day the kids have been back
to school in like 5 days! All this weather has been keeping us inside!~
~Have a beautiful Monday~
Thanks for stopping by

~Another frigid Saturday...WINNER of the PC RAK!~

Good morning from a VERY cold TN home...
Thank YOU everyone for helping me with the Purple Cows Contest!
I am not sure if I won since there is still 10 days left...
but I know I got well over 200-300 people to sign up on my behalf!
So I am very pleased!
If you have not signed up yet, there is still time!

Now on to the winner of this KIT RAKJodi said...

I just became a follower on FB for you!!

I'm off to pass along the message!

Jodi please email me your addy so I can get the package
off as son as our road clears :)!

I finally got my paintings unwrapped from Christmas and photographed them
This is the last one I did, it is a wintery tree scene.
I sure have fun painting, if there is a local class in your area,
even if you just go to have a girls night out, it is TOTALLY worth it!
After cutting up the last one and embellishing it...
I am so tempted to do it again LOL.
Hubby just laughs and says "leave it alone!" hehe

Ok back to this snowy day...
~Thanks for stopping by~
~Have a great weekend!!~

~Are you going to CHA in Anehiem? Check out the Purple Cows Booth!~

I won't be going this year :(
But I will be at CHA Chicago this summer!
Meanwhile, I wanted to share this icube panel project that will
be at CHA in California in a couple weeks!

All of us Cow Girls decorated out very own icube panel
to be displayed at CHA!
I am so excited, I have projects going to CHA!!! How fun is that?!
It's a special week, I am very happy.

I decided on my panel I would cut up, yes CUT UP a painting I did
First I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist,
then I added Hambly rub-on owls and made my own embellishments to it
Then I misted it again so it would all match up.
And I glued it down (I used HELMAR 450 WET glue!) It rocks BTW!

It is so hard to photograph such an orange and red piece, but
you get the idea, I was also told my Display Box would be at CHA too!
So if you are going...stop at Purple Cows and take a picture with it! :)
hehehe, I can live vicariously through you!

I really do love painting, I cannot wait to paint some more.
I have 2 more I have finished and need to photograph.
Well, off to prepare for another snow day, we have terrible
ice right now, so it's going to be a long day in the house with the boys
~Have a GREAT Friday!~
~Thanks for stopping by and all your support~

~A different kind of art for me!~

Good morning, I tried something new last night...a painting class!
To be fair I have never painted before in my life.
I am thinking about making paper lollipop flowers and placing them over the dots
I do not like LOL The dots are taunting me!! I was doing fine until I had to make
circles LOL Also I was thinking of putting some sort of CREATE wording
on it to hang in my craft room? We will see...I am happy with my first painting!~

Also I wanted to share a new site with you, well new to me!!
Let me tell you I fit perfectly there!
It is called
"Scrapbooking from the inside out"
Not only are their kits simply AMAZING,
but the entire concept is beautiful.
It is about scrapping all stages of life.
This month is "Generosity"
I hope you go check them out!!
When they say a kit community like no other, they mean it.
Everyone is kind, sweet and honest, there is not catty-ness.
My kind of people!
I just adore the place and check in every single day!I received a BLOG AWARD yesterday! Thanks Kelly~

Here are 5 friends I pass this award on to..
#1 Jocelyn, because she is so sweet and wonderful I wish she
was my neighbor, I love her form afar!
It shows too because she always has like 40 comments on every post!
#2 Jona- Jona is one of those quiet sweet amazing people, I pop in
on and check out as much as possible, her work is amazing!
#3 Elena- Sweet of course, kind and creative what more can I say?
#4 Deb- who rocks the pink hair! My Armenian Princess friend!
#5 Dee- ever faithful, ever crafting Dee!

So that is all for today...
we heard from the bank and it looks like we should close very soon
and get the heck out of this crazy neighborhood!
