Gesso Fun With The Latest Kit!

Hey there friends, I can't believe it's August and time for school again this week.
So sad our summer is over, but happy I have so many photos to scrap!

This is a layout I created using the August Kit from Creating Made Easy.
It's actually the feature in the kit so each kit will have
full instructions on how to create this layout and more!

For this one I used Gesso and paint and I love the results.

Grab your kit before it's gone!

Happy Monday friends. :)

Celebrate A Mother's Love

Hey friends, it's time for SPRING to happen and a NEW KIT!
This ones for the mom's whose best was never good enough, and
those who have no family but cling to every ounce of heart they have.

and amazing Clear Scraps goodness. Everyone always says they
can;t put pink on a boy project....COUGH I beg to differ!!
I love this album full of PINK with my two sweet boys
who are so kind hearted and loving. I am so blessed.
It was all about celebrating so I decided I would celebrate my love
and gratefulness for having them in my life.
I am so blessed to have such sweet boys who love me and
make sure I know they love me and stand by me.
I can only pray they grow up as sweet as they are now
and helpful to others without anger.
My heart always hurts thinking of those I have lost and the
family who choose to let their anger lead them away from love.
Beyond my control, I have to focus on the love I have and let
the rest slip away. I have never been happy with the fact I have
no family and I was so abused, I did the best I could my whole
life but sometimes the nest will never be good enough.

Thank you all for supporting me...

How To Make A Brick Wall Page

Morning friends, it's dreaded Monday, so why not
hide out at home and craft if you can?? Or come home after
work and craft! :)

I have been trying to create this week and came up with this
Clear Scraps Mixable Home Album with a "brick wall".

For the fence I took the protective film off of the back and
painted it with a brush, then I scratched it.
After it dried I removed the film from the front and
painted it with brick red, then I wiped most of it off leaving only a stain.
After I painted the fence I took Deco Art Medium Texture Paste (Sand)
and used the Clear Scraps Brick Mascil to create a brick wall,
but trust me it looked nothing like a brick wall yet,
I had to wait for it to dry then I added paint and Deco Art Media mists
including black mist.
I used the chipboard pages for this technique, not acrylic.

On the heart I simply covered in patterned paper,
then inked the edges in mixed media ink.
For the back page I also used patterned paper
I don't usually do that with my acrylic but you can do whatever
you want! It's your beautiful album!!

At the end of the day I am happy with it all.
I used Echo Park Papers for the album too.
and the corrugated cardboard and butterflies are Little B.

Have a happy Monday friends.

Gingerbread Fun With Deco Art And Clear Scraps

Merry Christmas friends,
I have one last Christmas project to share for the year.
I have been slacking between sick kids and Christmas but this one is cute.
I created a Gingerbread card using a Clear Scraps acrylic banner piece and
a Deco Art Snow Writer, isn;t it cute how much it looks like frosting?
Head over to Clear Scraps to see the tutorial and get an idea on making your own!
Merry Christmas from me and my two boys to you.
Thanks for being a part of my life all year long.
