~Fabulous Friday is here with fun news and sneak peeks~

**Tune in tomorrow for a Lace Flower Video Tutorial**
For theseGood morning all my lovely crafty friends...
I was having a rough morning with a sick baby boy at home
when I checked my email and had a pleasant surprise!
My layout from yesterday is the #1 Viewed on TwoPeas!
HOW COOL is that?! When I scrap real it always surprises me
how many people come forward and say
"Hey I am so glad you did that! I went through the same thing!"
OK enough of the glowing smile :)

I never do CHA sneaks or anything but I found this newer company
called Scrap Within Reach. As a mom of 3 beautiful boys
I totally appreciate any pretty more masculine paper.
You can see the FULL Preview HERE!
Scrap Within Reach
I LOVE love LOVE the sticker alphas, and I also love how
they incorporated not only masculine colors but the softer colors
as well so you could use it for any scrap layout!LOVE the patches too! Wow so fun!
Cannot wait to see it available for purchase, I will be buying!
Ok, off to take care of my sicky...
have a great day!

~Happy Friday~

~Friday! Finally precious Friday! hehe

Morning all you beautiful crafters, another
beautiful day in Middle Tennessee.
Yesterday's burst of sun really rejuvenated me.
Today the new Challenge for ScrapFit is up and running!

Since this was our last workout as the current DT
Challenge #12 was
Weight Lifting
Pick a LO that another DT member has done in Workouts 1-11 and lift it.
Here is the Layout I "lifted" by the beautiful HeatherI did not want to stray too much from it
so here is my version...I used the January KIT from Timeless Daydreams
I LOVE this kit!
I wish I had been able to photograph this better,
I need tips on photographing blue in the winter with no sun LOL
OK that's it for me today, I need to get to work
it has been a long and productive week! Time to get ready
for some good old fashioned relaxing LOL!

Thanks ScrapFit for having me as a DT, I loved
doing it and am excited to see where you go because I know
it is going to be BIG!

~Have a great Friday y'all!~
~Thanks to every one who stopped by and said hi~

~Are you going to CHA in Anehiem? Check out the Purple Cows Booth!~

I won't be going this year :(
But I will be at CHA Chicago this summer!
Meanwhile, I wanted to share this icube panel project that will
be at CHA in California in a couple weeks!

All of us Cow Girls decorated out very own icube panel
to be displayed at CHA!
I am so excited, I have projects going to CHA!!! How fun is that?!
It's a special week, I am very happy.

I decided on my panel I would cut up, yes CUT UP a painting I did
First I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist,
then I added Hambly rub-on owls and made my own embellishments to it
Then I misted it again so it would all match up.
And I glued it down (I used HELMAR 450 WET glue!) It rocks BTW!

It is so hard to photograph such an orange and red piece, but
you get the idea, I was also told my Display Box would be at CHA too!
So if you are going...stop at Purple Cows and take a picture with it! :)
hehehe, I can live vicariously through you!

I really do love painting, I cannot wait to paint some more.
I have 2 more I have finished and need to photograph.
Well, off to prepare for another snow day, we have terrible
ice right now, so it's going to be a long day in the house with the boys
~Have a GREAT Friday!~
~Thanks for stopping by and all your support~

Good morning all you amazing crafty people!
Shouting out from a frigid 10 degrees in TN with a 0 windchill,
now I knwo that ain't nothing for you Northern girls but for this
pink lady its-a-little-bit-COLD! :)

I told you last week I got my new Imaginisce box and
I have been DYING to play with it ever since!
This is the NEW Lucy Bird line, it is SO darn cute and fun!
Something else I tried and fell in love with?
The new SMOOCH Spritz from Clearsnaps!
OMG I LOVE IT! I used it all over the edges of this page,
and on the chipboard journaling tag.
The journaling tag I put on top of the spritzed one
is a cute rub-on from the Lucy Birdcollection!
I really tried to photograph this in the light to capture how
shimmery and pretty this page is.
I will have to try throughout the day to see which times work best
but for now I hope you can see what I did.

You can see I used a pretty girly line for this BOY picture and it's
because it doesn't matter what the paper looks like, you can make
it work for YOU!
The back of these Imaginisce papers are always different and
with a little shimmer, or creativity, they work for any project!

OK off to try to stay warm! I am freezing over here!
I have to run a special project to Fed Ex today...
you will be hearing and SEEING more of that later this week!
It's a super fun Purple Cows surprise! :)
So stay tuned...literally...
~Have a great Monday~

~The First Sunday of 2010! Can you believe it?~

This year just FLEW by so fast!
I am amazed at how much faster the years go now
that I am in my 30's vs my teens! LOL

This Layout I did for my DT work with Imaginisce, and
can I just say this is my MOST favorite line EVER from Imaginisce!
It's called Scooter's Vacation, and I instantly thought
not only about the trips we have taken which it is perfect for
but also for other reasons....LIFE the journey of life and
all those everyday special moments
I would encourage you to look at themed paper the same way,
I am always thinking of new ways to use these papers, and
it is SO much fun and I end up using every piece because I don't box myself
in to one thought or theme.
Every day I love Imaginisce just a little more!
I also used the i-top on this page!
Let me tell you, if you are like me and do not use
brads often, this will change your mind! I love mine!
I wish I had bought it before!
I love the Click Smile Ribbon too....how versatile is that?
I cannot wait to make another page...

Also check the top post here everyone!
just a few more days to sign up for Purple Cows!!!
I have my fingers crossed for a win!

~Have a great Sunday~
~I hope you get to relax and play today~

~Life is full of POSSIBILITY! Happy New Year's Eve~

Wow what a journey 2009 has been and one of
those pivotal moments for me has been finding
the Scrapbooking From The Inside Out Forum/kit club
This is the FIRST kit club I have ever found that thinks just like I do.
All the kits are based on a specific emotion.
This month's kit emotion is "POSSIBILITY"
Everyone is VERY nice and they believe it is ok to scrap ANYTHING
just like I do. I love the compassionate attitude that sort of thinking
holds, and is dear to my heart. That scrapping is about what you want to
create/do, and not about rules and regulations! :)

Today I am going to share 2 of the layouts I made with the kit
I made 5, I will post the rest tomorrow
Journaling:
It's hard to explain to someone who has never been abused
just how precious the gift of security can be.
Knowing that I will never ever be hit again by someone who says the love me.
But you my dear, have given me back the feeling that anything is possible.
If I found someone who loves me unconditionally ]
and sees me with eyes I do not understand, then YES!! Anything is possible.
I Love You.
Time To See Journaling
It IS Possible:
To have friends who do not use and abuse you and to expect that.
To be kind to yourself and still be a good person
To stay faithful and surround yourself w/ others who are as well
To stand strong and be gentle at the same time
To respect yourself even after being abused and battered for a lifetime
I am beginning to see that I am repeating the same pattern
of abuse in my friends that I used to have with men in my life.
I have decided if I can break the cycle with men, I can break the cycle
with my friends as well, so for 2010 my goal is to find good
sweet honest friends who care for life and respect others like I do.
Isn't this kit beautiful?
If you have not checked out SFTIO please do.
I stop in there to chat at least once a day.
The girls there are KIND, compassionate and very understanding.
Kindred spirits.

OK I am off to take my sweet boys shopping and
get ready for this amazing New Year full of POSSIBILITY!
~Have a great New Year's Eve~
~Thank you for stopping by~

~Scooter's Vacation?! How fun!~

It's a late night post for me, I am gearing up
for tomorrow and the REVEAL for Scrapbooking From The Inside Out!
I have some cool pages to share from that kit...
in the mean time, I have had SO MUCH FUN
playing with the new Imaginisce kit...
SCOOTER'S VACATION!

Now I will be the first to admit I had to reroute my thinking
when it comes to the more themed paper, but
I am so happy I have! I love the fun cute pages I have been creating.
I always have fun pictures I love but they have no particular
emotional heavy meaning, just fun family travel pictures
So this was a great way to scrap the fun stuff!

Everything here except for the Thickers/Jenni Bowlin Title
is the Scooter's Vacation line form Imaginisce! LOVE IT!
I took this picture last fall in TN on the back roads
in Nashville. I love the fall here and taking those back roads
always leave me nostalgic for country drives hubby used to take
me on while I was 9 months pregnant. :)

More news...
I have decided to begin a new challenge blog...
there will be more news to come on this one! :)
I hope you stay tuned!

~Have a great last day of 2009~
~I appreciate every last one of you~
